| It's back after so long, god how I missed by babies. You don't know how happy I am to see Nyanko-sensei after so long. Ofc, had to kick off the episode with the good ol' classic Natsume giving a youkai his name back, probably one of like two we'll get this entire season lmao. Which, giving the youkai his name back leads into the main thing of the episode, these ashes that when used in pottery, it can makes clay smell like sakura blossoms. Btw, I love that the first person Natsume went to was to Tanuma to ask for some questions when it came to it, love how he's learned how to lean more and more on him（>﹏<）（>﹏<）Then we got our first appearance of MA GOAT NYANKO-SENSEI!!!! How I've missed you king. Straight to it as well, asking Natsume if he can make a sake set with it lmaoooo. But ofc, wouldn't be a Natsume episode without something going wrong, this time with the youkai coming in and making the ashes blow away. Poor Nyanko-sensei can't have his sakura scented sake anymore :( Though, hey, at least he's getting some dango! Though, that can't be the end ofc. Because now, the little clay Nyanko-sensei starts moving!?!? After a bit of time and running though, thankfully, he shows himself and YET AGAIN starts running, but now outside the house. Which leads to an encounter of a youkai, which LEAD TO THE ICONIC "DON'T YOU TOUCH MY PREY!!!!" GAHHH. It's been so long since I heard that line. Finally with everything settled, we end up finding out he was a fragment of a Buddhist statute that once day someone had broken it and when wandering he had found a vessel, that being the mini Nyanko-sensei. Some stuff later and the youkai from before kidnaps mini Nyanko-sensei, and we got one of those classic Natsume punches, leading into that even more classic Nyanko-sensei exorcising him with his forehead. But it isn't enough, and mini Nyanko-sensei deals the final blow... at the cusp of his own life.... </3 "Items have a lifespan of their own".... damn. Just one episode in and straight to hitting the feels it is, man how I missed that feeling. These next couple of weeks will be so great, I can tell. |

| Wow, rarely we see a series getting so many seasons, moreover one after a good amount of time, like this did, as I mean even if we didn’t get things felt kinda conclusive, so either way would’ve been fine, but yeah, glad to see this returning and still trying to recap things a bit(which many series don’t actually do these days xD), making us familiar with the premise all over again. By the way, I liked how it made every bit of sense to start once again by Natsume and sensei playing the caretaker for this one small yokai. You could see how long we’ve come when Natsume and Madara are literally enjoying the company of this one clay creature… seeing all of its memories and dreams together, especially Madara, for obvious reasons lol. Though as it has been with this series, moving forward is what life is all about, so yeah, it might have been one sweet brief time with that yokai, letting it go was inevitable. And hey, they both said their goodbyes happily, so that’s all it matters. OP and ED sounds like… how they always had in this series. Very refreshing return, and looking forward to see the rest of the cast in the coming episodes. |

| Yay! Nyanko-sensei and all the other funny yokai are finally back! :3 I have missed them so much. Nice OP/ED as usual. Imo, the sixth season was pretty disappointing, so hopefully this will be much better. The first episode with a cute mini Nyanko-sensei gave this season a very good start. |

| One of the titles that's been bringing joy to us for a long time now, I always love watching this it's always so calming and i like the little stories. Seeing a tiny sensei was funny and he was full of spirit fighting those but entities like they where nothing. And it was nice of sensei to translate. |

| Finally back after the special/movie from 2021, 3 and half years later. Been really looking forward to this. Mini sensei was so adorable. Hope he gets to get back to his place. Nice episode to start the season and it's the same as ever. Theme songs were both okay. Hoping for a good season again. |

| Ahhhh felt so good to see this again after so long :') Mini-sensei was so cute. And I loved seeing Natsume with all the people he cared about in the OP and ED. So glad Makoto Yoshimori came back for this season as well. What can I say? What can I say? I'm pleased ^_^ |

In the latest episode of the new season of Natsume’s Book of Friends, the focus was primarily on Nyanko-sensei. Despite his unsuccessful attempt to obtain cherry blossom-flavored sake, he was consoled by Natsume with his favorite dango. The other youkai friends had minimal roles in this episode. The second part of the episode delved into the backstory of Mini Nyanko-sensei, revealing that he was originally a fragmented Buddha statue, which explains his formidable power despite his small size. Additionally, it was heartwarming to see the kind and motherly Touko-san being scared of a suspected mouse.  |

| I can't believe we're here man. I am actually watching a Natsume's Book of Friends season while it's airing. I remember binging the series back in 2020, right near when the pandemic started. This is still one of the most pleasant and relaxing anime I have ever watched, with life lessons as well, and this episode was no exception, maybe a little too relaxing and pleasant, it's not a good idea to watch this show after work, cause I feel sleepy lmao. Mini-Sensei is cute, hope he successfully gets back to his home. It's cool to see Natsume's Book of Friends airing, while Monogatari: Off and Monster Season Part 1 is finishing up. Vastly different roles for Hiroshi Kamiya, yet there's a sense of similarity. |

| SEVEN YEARS LATER!! The 6th season aired in 2017 wow. Crazy to think I started Natsume when it had 3 seasons... Gosh the manga is one of my all-time favorites, but the story doesn't really progress all the much. Natsume is basically her life's work cuz it'll take forever to end xD |

| the peak is back. The only complaint about this episode for me was not using the old classic osts that we used to listen. I missed them in the new contents T_T I hope i will hear more of them in the next episodes |
