For now, the story of Levius and co. comes to an end and boy, oh boy, what an ending it was. This ending was amazing! It does feel a bit clichéd, but it treats its characters and themes with such sincerity that will leave you with a big smile on your face. Levius is one of the finest anime I've ever watched and I hope we get a sequel in the future.

Hugo's appearance was a nice touch for Levius, it totally did some rude awakening on the guy and reminded him why he was in that bout from the start. That was a great counter by Levius, totally messed up AJ in that moment. But I was more glad when he blew Clown's Automaton, totally deserved after he wanted to discrete AJ.

It looks Levius has been promoted, and most of all AJ will be living with them from now on. I sense some romance for those two in the future.

Overall it was an alright anime. A bit of cliché here and there, but Overall it was decent. The animation style was puke no matter which angle you look at, you'll get cancer for watching for too long. The bad animation was terrible that the lukewarm story couldn't make up for it. All I can is the characters were lukewarm along with the story, but I like the development on the characters, still I wouldn't say they're third-dimensional. I would watch season 2 when it's out.

Netflix should stop producing this kind of style, I don't know if it's suppose to be some kind of industry revolution on their part. Either way it's not working out for them, and should stop it immediately.

I feel like I'm watching the inferior version of Megalo Box, though in one aspect I give Levius a tie with Megalo Box, and that is the homosexual relationship... no no, not that robot Crown and Levius, that's just unhealthy toxic obsession, I mean, between Zack and Bill, even Natalia suspect that. I've to admit that Levius is straight through and through no matter how much I want him to be gay, so the best I can hope is for him to stay virgin.

As everyone mentioned, season 2 is need, but Netflix has very bad reputation about making anime sequel, we haven't heard a single word about B: The Beginning despite season 2 announcement.

Overall, it was pretty good and entertaining. Apart from a few nitpicks the worst thing about this anime is definitely the mishandling of the "character" Natalia. She was nothing but a tool used for exposition and to create drama that does nothing for the plot. She became a completely different character in the second half without any proper development to make a seamless transition.

All that and the facepalming I did every time she yelled at the crowd..... and that she wears her googles in the ring. I really wanted to like her character too because she seemed really cool at the start, so I'm sad about how she turned out.

I would trade megalobox 2 for a second season of Levius any day.

Needless to say, I finish all anime I start, no matter my initial opinion, no matter how bad it gets, I WILL FINISH IT!

Good anime!
Not perfect but a series with heart.
Enjoyed it alot. The fights have been tense and the chars were likeable.
Music was on point!
Enjoyed the CGI aswell.

Looking for another season, hopefully!

The story was pretty lame and the characters are flat, but overall I enjoyed it and expect a sequel. I don't understand all the whines about the CGI, I like it, at least in this series. The character designs and fighting scenes definitely were on the good side for me.

Okay-ish anime. I liked the music and the visuals (because I like the studio and the way they do faces). Mainchar felt a bit too much like shounen though.

The fights vs Malcolm and the dialogues with Hugo ... were great. Also the background story between the Zack and Bill. I liked Natalia and the war story as well.

Main problem was the crazy antagonist. (Referring to music terms when he talks about the fight.) Also that brainwashing with the girl was just your usual plot. Nothing special. Didn't like it at the end because of that. (How they did the end was okay though. Not rushed. Not too slow.)

Would have preferred to see more in G2 and it felt more like a start instead of an end. (Where there are supposed to be additional rules for using the steam outside of the body and stuff like that.)

7/10 from me. Somewhere between 7.0 and 7.4 ... I think around 7.3 same I gave to Fairy Gone which had a lot worse execution "technically" (in terms of storytelling) but where I liked the stuff that got shown/told (the content) a lot more.) Here it was just the opposite. Technically well written ... but the plot with brainwashing was a bit boring I'd have preferred episodic and cool fights vs. cool guys. (Malcolm fight was the strongest part.)

Well this sure was quite the boxing cgi anime. I'm never a really big fan of cgi anime as it tends to spoil the drawn characteristics that regular anime has, but well sometimes it is executed pretty decently like in this series. The setting and characters were well presented in its own way but other than the boxing and always being stuck in a depressive loop for what happened when he was a child did make it a bit annoying if you ask me.

So while the general execution of the art was done properly, and the setting was rather unique, the story ik both character and overall plot just didn't do it for me.

So while it wasn't a bad watch I can't say I would recommend this anime either for those who like sports or boxing related anime.

All in all it was a good watch, but nothing too unique to make it really stand out.

Overall decent anime, some good fights and the cgi didn't look bad at all, the only thing I personally think is this anime's weakness is its storyline, some part about Macolm, Hugo and Amethyst war with Levius and Aj, even for a one cour length anime it didn't feel like there wasn't very much to it,

Any "ideas" where is this available outside the... legit sources?

Well, it was a decent sci-fi cyberpunk sports? First sports series I do not seem to hate as it deals with something bigger than just competition of schools or other nonsense. The ending implies a bigger scheme in play - they already have an A.I. resembling automaton suffering from insanity, or doing someone's bidding. I wonder what the continuation has in store, and whether I will ever see it. Might as well just go read the tvtropes...

On side note, probably the best Polygon Pictures work with characters. Voice-acting is strictly at its possible limit, the movements and expressions (considering the graphics) are detailed and feel natural. You win this one Netflix. But another Hero Mask will be the end of you.

The build-up was more exciting than the finale but I've often found final bosses to be a bit boring and Clown was just way over-the-top ridiculous. The fighting animation was really good though and I'd watch another season.

Music reference Dr Eggman vs one-motivation-per-person Blond Kirito of boxing in quest to rescue his waifu.
When tackling character bits - apart from bland and shallow villian and child experiment yare yare nonsense it was veryc ompetent even if simple.
Not a fan of 3D but regardless of that the direction and execution was very clever, almost classy. Yugo Kanno's music hit hard.

Battles themselves were enjoyable, despite being rather basic strategy/themes-wise.

Overall - not much flaws, just not very good, but well made.
Cringed but kind of enjoyed, sometimes wished for it to just stahp and end its nonsense. 5-6/10. Not bad. Though it would have been but if I were to judge the latter part (which is unfortunately a proper developement here) alone.

The show is class-B in story-wise and the animation is not so good because of CG, but the character design and the art are beautiful.

Ended nicely. Wonder where the clown go. If eden and hugo was G3 I wonder how strong his new opponents will be.

Really made me happy to see Hugo coming to cheer on Levius and it was an emotional conclusion in general.

Nothing too crazy since this series played it as safe as it can get for most parts, but it hit all the right notes for me I want from an enjoyable anime. Quirky cast, bonding moments, humanizing opponents(or mechanizing in Clown's case), tragedy, wholesomeness, OP/ED I don't want to skip. Ending left things open yet offered enough closure to be satisfied. Overall pretty damn nice.

That shot with Hugo was way too cheesy and the annoying Dr. clown just making matters worse. I really wish this had a better more interesting antagonist. The final blow was kinda cool and the OST is nice. Where are the Ref’s and doctors during this everyone just clears the ring when the fight is over really? Don’t know if I will be watching a season 2 not very often it takes me 2 weeks to watch 12 episodes but there wasn’t much to be overly excited for in this one not terrible though.

Was impressed with this anime for the most part, but the execution of the final episode could've been improved, because it brings it down a bit. This episode had some of the most egregious examples of a long count for Levius I've seen, while AJ got counted out within around a mere three seconds in comparison. The reveal of Dr. Clown being an android was also completely pointless and irrelevant to the plot, with the existence of androids in this series at all being unprecedented leading up to this. Some sort of implications for this revelation should've been established long before this episode came round.

Found that the characters had no shortage of charisma, and the interactions between them were organic. The boxing matches themselves were tense and fluid, with the sound effects giving every blow that extra weight behind it, accurately conveying the power these metal exoskeletons could generate. The computer graphics also had more fidelity than I was used to seeing.

My main issue with this was its excessively loose approach to boxing itself, as most of the matches felt like street fights with breaks between rounds, which is basically what they were. I wasn't expecting a rigid, boring adherence to every aspect of the real sport, but the empty arenas and blatant cheating in just about every match were perplexing, even for someone who can suspend his disbelief.
