They went all out in this episode finale with a band performance. Sheer entertainment and Sarah managed to graduate just after 3 months after enrollment! Impressive. Livia is still an object of Noa's affections. That got awkward even for her LOL. Fun finale/show. |

Sara's an all-natural whn it comes to Valentine's Day chocolates, and Nakagawa earns her own fans as well since the last time with increasing popularity. Also, both Brenda and Haruka missed the mark of trying to get their love across to Sosuke lols. Puriketsu, Livia and Noa's band is ready to go for their first-ever concert performance. Also, Liviaa going gambling at her usual pachinko store...that entire scene was ripped from real life, with the anime flare added, I thought that it was a really nice touch. Alas, her being so engrossed at playing...resulted in her almost being late for the small gig where both Puriketsu and Noa were relentlessly waiting for her. And to go from a small gig to a full-fledged concert, the 3 girls are eating good, earning themselves a major debut with their Grasshopper the Savior name. But apart from Noa almost having her way with Livia, her getting arrested for insider trading, what an end lols. Sosuke attending Sara's graduation...to hearing the amazement of both the students and parents of the elementary school and hearing all of the weird stories about her, she may have only been there for 3 months, and turning her representative speech into an idol song...what the hell lols, but it's a memorable end for all. Too bad that this is the end of Grasshopper the Savior for both Livia and Puriketsu, and Brenda taking on Noa's case (and then passing that job to Sosuke) for the detective stuff, it's just natural in the small town of eccentrics. Yomi Hirasaka just does NOT miss, Salad Bowl is such a fun show, just like Hanagai and ImoSae. His 3rd success show, the novelist is destined for anime greatness...of which this would be his last, but hopefully not so. |

Final time seeing the goddess that is Livia... very sad. The girls' band Salvation Grasshopper, consisting of Livia, Noa, and Priketsu, finally begins full-fledged activities. The band quickly gains popularity. On the other hand, Sosuke attends Sara's graduation ceremony, who graduated just three months after enrolling. Sitting quietly without much emotion, Sosuke awaits what awaits him. Good for Yuna to see she's rather popular in her school apparently. Seems she'll make due without Sara in her school rather well for now. Speaking of Sara and school, poor Sosuke was STRESSING during her graduation speech holy fuck LMAOOO. Also good to see that Brenda's making some progress slowly but surely with Sosuke... lol. Someone needs to stop this man Yomi because the man DOES NOT MISS. This is now his THIRD success, and I'd say it's on the same level, if not better than Imouto Sae. Funniest show of the season no lie. I NEED A SEASON TWO PLEASE. |

Things where finally looking bright for Livia but it wasn't meant to be well she can probably go to the top ones again, all in time. Sara's school was something else they were obsessed with her. And it's a shame that brenda didn't get her feelings across they would have made a nice couple. |

One of the biggest surprises of spring for me and I’m really sad to see this ended. This is what I wanted Sasapii to be. Sara, Livia, Brenda, all amazing characters and my Thursdays are gonna be a lot worse off without them 😢 Eccentric(pun intended) finale that really had everything that makes this series so awesome. Just non stop laughs, twists and ridiculousness. Moment of silence for Brenda making all that chocolate to give to sosuke just for him to say he already has too much chocolate 😭 poor thing does her best, I’m rooting for her! Lmao Sara really runs that school man. That wasn’t no graduation ceremony, that was a personal send off for Sara sama and a concert debut. The parents standing up and hyping her up more than their own kids got me dying. Speaking of concerts, Grasshopper Savior’s debut was one for the ages. Animation was almost nonexistent during it, but I can live with that since this isn’t a musical anime. The twist after the concert though holy shit! First of all, I thought Noa was gonna go all the way either Livia. But for her to be interrupted by none other than the police and arrested for INSIDER TRADING blew my mind. I’ve never even seen that in an anime. Her whole identity and backstory was a lie?? The author of this really brings in some cool concepts lmao. But wait, Brenda is her lawyer??? And she calls her sensei?!! WHAAAT Finale was as crazy as anything in this series. I absolutely loved every moment of this show and I am extremely sad to say goodbye to it. |

Bro I was about to explode when Noa got arrested and the ed started playing. Like this has got to be the most random ending ever. I'm assuming Brenda gets her out fine though most random thing to add literally at the end of the show. My favourite part overall was seeing Livia's life it was far more interesting than Sara's I thought she had a really good dynamic with Noa. I totally ship Sousuke X Brenda and Livia X Noa |

15:55 gave me Usagi Drop flashbacks. PLZ NO NO NOOOOO DON"T GO IN THAT DIRECTION! JAPAN NO! FATHER DAUGHTER! OK! NOT MARRIAGE OK!!!!OK! 18:07 Bruh she's getting arrested for insider trading lol. Not for being a cult leader but because of insider trading lol omg! hahahha. Well thanks Police for saving Livia though. Oh ok I see how this wraps everyone together now. She gets arrested for insider trading, lawyer to help, Lawyer loli hires detective and sara ok. Also, it seems sara did some wild things in school like saving marriages, stopping divorces, preventing bullying, keeping class harmony, and to even help getting NEETS to come out of their rooms. She's single handily becoming a god/divine idol without even the help of a cult or band. We also seem to see some other characters at the end there. I hope there's potential for season 2. I really enjoyed this. |

Lol, they literally wrote Noa's position in the group as a manipulator and leader of a religious cult?! No wonder the police found her so quickly lmao. Typical anime with Kantoku art. A crazy mixture of absolutely delusional developments along with unexpectedly realistic and deconstructed moments. I really enjoyed this show, especially because of the nostalgic touches reminiscent of silly comedies from the 00s. @Marinate1016 It was pretty obvious that Noa was, to put it mildly, "extremely overexcited" about Livia, but after this scene I'm wondering how far the author intended to go with it. In general, yuri subplots are pretty typical for any Kantoku LN. |

This show was an absolute hidden gem. I never thought that a series about a princess from a fantasy world could be so human and so close to us. A little bit of here, a little bit of there, stories of people whose paths are directly connected but still go their own way, a little bit like life. The show had a bit of a calm, relaxed touch - and was also extremely entertaining at the same time. Since the ratings weren't that great, I doubt we'll ever get a second season - although the cliffhanger makes me curious to see how and if Brenda will help Noa out of trouble. I'm going to miss this show so much. Sasouke, Sara, "Priketsu", Brenda, Noa ... and especially our good Livia. With her optimistic and honest nature, she was a great asset to the spring season. If I'm ever in Gifu, I'll definitely pay them a visit. |

And so we end with Valentines, graduation songs, and a short-lived music career. Of all the shows I watched this season this was probably the one that surprised me the most in regards to actual content. The main underlying theme of this was the subversion of expectations. You can find a microcosmic example with the little kids during the graduation talking about divorce and NEETS and whatnot. This show loved taking serious topics and playing with them through cutesy characters. It was successfully amusing for the most part. Coincidentally enough the only character I actually found myself disliking was Noa, who went to prison. It was great. I like to think she'll stay there but if there's another season I'm sure I'll be disappointed. If I had things my way the Noa character and religious cult plotline wouldn't have even been in the show. Livia would've hung around with homeless writer dude more instead, but at least they did bring him back near the end after disappearing for several episodes. But I'm rambling. Uh...yeah, not bad. Solid 7/10, needed more Conan references in the second half. |

Until this final episode was cool, it concluded some plots in a funny way, it left some things up in the air, but that's it, so let's talk about the anime itself. This was one of the animes that disappointed me this season, not that I expected much, I expected something on the level of sasaki-pii, something similar, because clearly it is something similar even if in a distant way but there were so many bad things in the anime that made it decay. 1st, the anime did not remain focused on a single core, it remained for several episodes focusing on the knight and other episodes focusing on the protagonist's core, if it were to pass the baton between episodes instead of dedicating an ep exclusively to that core, it would no longer be possible it would be very good but it would be better than what they did, other than that I couldn't tank the knight's core, because what a boring, boring and bad plot on top of that, that's the problem with trying to "innovate" or do it "differently", generally something bad comes out, the normal thing would be to focus on the prota and Sara and over time the other heroines will join the plot, like Livia, Brenda (lawyer, loli and redhead), Haruka (odd detective), Yuna (sara's friend ), Noa (cult leader) and Asumi (former member of the club and Livia's band partner), thus making them part of the main group and having the deepening of relationships or even the main nucleus (Prota and Sara) could permeate between the other groups but with them remaining in focus but the anime/author made a mess, while sasaki-pii had several genres mixed in one anime (whoever saw it will understand what I'm talking about) and even so it was something coherent, in this anime is just a mess. 2nd One of the points that I find strange about this anime is its atmosphere, come on, if the anime's feel was darker/realistic I would be fine with certain "depravities" of it but the anime has a very "cute" atmosphere, it doesn't. how to tank in this style, for example, Livia keeps getting involved in questionable schemes, she who should be one of the main heroines, keeps selling realistic figures of her own body, lives on the street, goes to a brothel and so on..., detective who has already said that he loves the prota, he keeps seducing other guys and taking him to the motel, literally involving betrayal in the anime, man there are several wrong stops that the work passes lightly, as I said, if it were a different climate, a suitable climate I could even take it, but the atmosphere of the work is different, the anime takes all these heroines that I mentioned and corrupts them, leaves them worse, the only ones who are saved are Sara, her elderly friend and maybe the lawyer loli who doesn't even save herself that much. 3rd Due to what I mentioned above, the protagonist is completely misused in the plot, he seems to be a good protagonist, apart from the mistake he made by firing Livia, which in itself seems to be a stroke of the author's hand, for some reason he made the protagonist do this shit, otherwise he would be a charismatic protagonist, but his screen time is poor, not to mention the plots that were written for him, he was poorly developed for krl. Speaking of Livia, she was supposed to have joined the main group at the most in episode 2, and as we know that's not what happens. I don't know why the author would put Haruka as a detective, given that she's a detective, this kind of tarnishes the reputation of the work, like I said, if it were something darker I would highlight it but that's not the mood. Now about Sara, about the author putting her as the prota's daughter, I actually liked that choice, I like childcare anime and such (although this one could having been a good focus for the anime, the author decided not to focus on this plot which is a shame), I don't know why he did that, I have a flea behind my ear about this but I will refrain from commenting on this part, But I'm going to say that I found it strange that the author put Sara in a pseudo harem reverse right when she starts school, so it's difficult. Regarding the other girls, it's impossible to sympathize with them, given everything I said above. The impression that the anime gave me is that, not directly but in a masked way, the author tried to diminish the protagonist in any way, whether by taking away screen time and development from him, making him make wrong decisions, not helping Livia, the kouhai his detective who likes him is a piece of work, the girl who likes him in the cutest way is a loli older than him (not that it's bad but taking into consideration the entire context), Livia doesn't like him, Sara with a harem reverse at school, the rest of the girls don't care about him, they don't even know each other and stuff. This was one of the animes that I was betting would be at least decent, as I said, it wasn't a very high expectation but even so the anime disappointed me, my rating is 6/10, depending on I wouldn't see a second season of this and you can consider that my score is between 5 and 6 out of 10, although I rounded it up to 6. |

I enjoy everything Livia, who's now the best girl in all of anime. Perfect body, perfect breasts, perfect personality. But man did they run out of money for this episode lol. So many slideshow scenes, screen shaking on a still image, repeated animation, etc. Not that this show really needs stellar animation or anything, but this episode was particularly bad. Why did they have to make it official with Sara liking Sosuke... Like I know they didn't actually get together like in some manga, but like... a 12 year old liking her 29 year old foster father is all sorts of messed up. |

I quite liked this show, unironically didn’t know it was from the Haganai author which I’m still on S2 with the manga on standby as we speak lol. Ngl that one line Sara dropped about her potential type gave me some really strong Usagi Drop war-time flashbacks so for the love of God and all that is holy PLZ do not let the worst case scenario rear its head in the future of this series 🫠. Can only pray for a S2 since the novels are still only in Japanese and only one or two chapters of the manga have scans out. If not I might genuinely have to start learning how to read kanji 🥲 |

Poor loli lawyer spent one month with the damn chocolate only to be beaten by Yuna (and Sara) again lol. That real life Pachinko machine xD. Sara's graduation scene had me rolling, it was so fucking funny lmao. By the way, Sara's type sounded pretty specific.... Usagi Drop here we go? I was so weirded out by how far the band had gotten... until Noa was arrested out of nowhere. Now that made more sense haha. Man, I loved this final episode. There's no better way to say goodbye to this series than with an episode as fun as this one. Now, with that said, I am conflicted about this series. On the one hand, it was really fucking funny and wholesome but on the other hand I was never a fan of Livia being left on her own. I mean, nothing really BAD happened to her but I feel like the show was unnecessarily harsh on her. I don't know, it certainly added to the fun but it never sat well with me. Then there are characters that I liked more than others. Sousuke and Sara were my favorite side, I also liked the loli lawyer, I didn't like Haruka but with the lawyer they made a fun pair. Then there's Noa, who I thought was pretty creepy, but she seems to get a pass because she's a cute girl and in the end, adds to the fun too I guess. Oh well, despite my disagreements with this series, I had fun, I had a lot of fun to be honest. It also had one of my favorite OPs of the season and the ED was pretty nice too. A season 2 would be nice. |

This was the sleeper series for me this season. I ended up liking it way more than I thought I would. Sara was my favorite character and one of the most wholesome, adorable characters I've seen in an anime. Livia was also great and had some wild plot lines for her. I won't lie, I was a little worried when Sara revealed she had a crush on Souske, her adopted dad (insert Usagi Drop flashbacks), but I'm hopeful that it won't actually lead to anything crazy. Honestly, 9/10 show for me in regard to enjoyment. I looked forward to each new episode every week. I hope it gets a second season one day, but if not, I'll appreciate the experience for what we did get. |

Yup, really have a great time watching this anime, and not surprising that this 1, battery and yatagarasu being my surprised of the season. It's surprising cause I do get arakawa under the bridge vibe but without its wacky and hilarious comedy but still a very good comedy in its own way. The characters really have a very good dynamic with each other which is surprising in multi characters anime. The characters also quirky but without being annoying. Will miss this lot and hopeful for 2nd season too, and probably we can have haganai S3 as well? |
I cannot bring myself to rate anime that I have completed below 5. Well, it just because I have use up my precious time to watch it. so, the worse you will get from me is 5 (changes may apply) |

To think they really filmed an IRL pachinko machine. Overall, while this was comedic isekai story, I found it really chill and relaxing anime adaptation. Sara might just become the next leader of Japan at this rate (though that would mean she really is sort of an invader like a certain mayor in the Philippines is alleged to be). Anyway, lots of interesting and funny things happening to each character here and the Sousuke is still dense about the women vying for his attention. This really is another fun anime, adapted from another light novel created by Hirasaka Yomi (Hirasaka Yomi also wrote the script for almost all the episodes of this anime). Some of the other LNs created by this author is "Imouto sae Ireba Ii" (A Sister's All You Need) and the more known "Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai". a.k.a 'Haganai'. Both got their own anime adaptations. I am not sure if this will get a new season because the Henjin no Salad Bowl light novel is still pretty new (started 2021) so we'll have to wait for more volumes to be done to warrant another cour. |

Sousuke, worst type of trash. An adult who knows how this world works. See how innocent and dumb Livia can be but expels her from his house instead of finding something for her to do for work (she is strong so could work in lots of places). Keeping her out of trouble could be a nice comedy point and become romance as well. But he leaves her vulnerable to exploitation and abuse. Later he knows that she is suffering abuse and exploitation from the cult leader, but leaves her like that. Sara, not an adult but didn't care for what happened to Livia. Noa, lesbian, rapist and cult leader. Brenda, trash. Creating fake proof of cheating when she doesn't find one. Will now leave Noa out of prison. Haruka, also trash. cause the fake proof when she finds none. Takeo, abusing how dumb Livia is. The contrast: Akira. Imeddiately tried to help Livia when he became aware of what was happening. Bascally from the main cast there only Livia and Akira are good people. The rest are a bunch of scumbags shown as good people. No idea why anyone would like any of them. The anime had its funny moments but these details made it a bit repulsive |

Why is everything I've watched of Yomi Hirasaka, at least a 9/10? Crazy consistency. His comedy is really quite distinct IMO, maybe not as closely connected comedically as Haganai and Imouto sae Ireba Ii were, but his works definitely all feel incredibly personal and original. |

Wanted to mention too that the highlight of this last episode was as least there was a little hint and move forward toward the potential advancement of the Sousuke and Sara relationship in the romantic direction in the future, which was/is the emotional core and bedrock of this show for me. Hopefully they manage to continue to have a complex and beautiful relationship and eventually become a "thing" in that sense too, even if it's only left in written form in the light novels and/or manga, and that content doesn't make it into anime form (if there is never a second season or there is, but it still doesn't cover that). Just knowing the romantic candle burns fiercely underneath it all and that's a possibility to be revisited and followed up on is enough! As far as other events, not that it made the episode in itself bad, but the only thing I was disappointed on in terms of a plot development (kind of close to the exact opposite of my feelings toward the subtle advancement of the Sousuke-Sara ship) was Noa being apprehended. Hopefully she can be liberated from confinement soon, even if it entails the lawyer and/or private investigator (Sousuke) pulling every trick in the book including anything underhanded. Pains me to see someone like Noa in captivity and not free. A beautiful dynamic creature whose wings must spread. On the outside (outside of prison) the possibilities are limitless for someone like her. She probably just got sloppy in covering her tracks. |
