(yes i am happy that i used a big word)
also account review:
ten exists only as troll, can recognise good shows but for some reason just doesnt get a decent few shows, maybe cant relate. i would imagine you have wasted most of your life watching anime, so it makes sense why you would give frieren a nine but for whatever reason cannot relate to shows like oshi no ko and kaguya sama for some reason. im going to presume it is because you hold very little sacred, which is respectable
7/10
"the plot moves nowhere this has no bearing on the premise blah blah blah". you just missed the fucking premise. the premise of the show is two exceptionally prideful people breaking down this pride for love. not whatever the fuck you seem to think it is. season three is the ultra satisfying removal of their pride and us realising how far these characters have come since the start of season three. its a beautiful commentary on how our pride can keep us away from eachother.
your score of two on oshi no ko is a fucking troll too. episode one alone is enough to bring any show to atleast a 7.
go to a fucking english class and then maybe you will realise how stupid you are. you are completely blind to the themes of the shows you watch. how do you even enjoy a show at that point. like do you just sit there in a daze thinkin how this is fucking stupid, completely oblivious to deeper meanins or anything of the like. is it even impossible to enjoy a show watching like that?
are these just the opinions of someone completely blind to artistic merit? does good writing just wizz past your head. i am dumbfounded. please read like a dissection of a shakespeare play so you might get an idea of how to really think about the media you consume. please. please. please. please. please.
you are one of the people who get mad at anthony fantano for not putting utopia in his top 5 rap albums, not realising that he is reviewing based on stuff like lyricism and he is essentialy saying nothing on this album. except its music and people dont tend to see artistic merit so it makes more sense. with a show its right in your face. do you not have ears or eyes or a brain.
back to the love is war score. the ''premise'' the show is put there to juxtapose the characters development. it is a reminder of how prideful kaguya and shirogane once were, compared to how they are in later seasons.
read a fucking book bro. most people are not brainless consumers but you are. you are everything wrong with the world.
