Finally, Sade comes to her senses. I mean, this episode was also an emotional fight after all.

With that being said, it looks like curse has been lifted on Nico. I'm impressed that Sade had the power to do that even. Regardless, just glad to see this going in the right direction.

In the end, Sade vs. her own magic, it's a maelstrom as everyone fight to stay live, and Zain came just in time to stop time, alongside Walter, though not for long, since it only takes an instant, that's quite the supression. The curse is lifted from both Nico and Bocchan as Sade (she's quite a beauty in her pure form) finally comes to her senses, and it reveals a rather old man supressed into a child, plus Bocchan being able to touch things that don't wither, finally putting an end to their non-touching habits in pure relief. As much as they're now together, the curse helped them establish their relationship in the first place, of which its unwarranted hate is really unneeded in the first place.

Everyone is safe back home, and Sade is not done yet as she accompanies Bocchan and Alice to see both Victor and Liz and finish her confession to clear her heart, as well as the future they'll be making from now on...albeit with a cruel fate as with every noble family, as Bocchan MUST become heir of his family, and Alice along with her choice...to resign being his personal maid for 2 years. Rob also heard Victor's advice, though the inkling is that Bocchan too has a choice thanks to him, and clearly, he chooses love, without a shadow of the doubt.

The runaway Alice against Bocchan in the name of love, is to end it with a marriage proposal and the white flower of lifetime vows.
That is the only possible ending to this rather charming love story.

Nico aged so badly that couldn't even show his face. But still good enough to Viola find attractive.

Sade got her feelings out of her chest. Alice and Viktor are together.
Was a nice episode.

A bit corny to my liking, but still a good ending of the episode. What I mean with corny? Alice should know very well Bocchan simply CAN NOT abandon her and go marry someone else and pretend nothing happened purely to stay noble. It's virtually impossible at this point for Bocchan to live without Alice. He'll basically be "cursed" again if he does. I understand Alice believed she had the best intentions, but I can't help but feel betrayed how she up and left. Glad she came back to her senses at the end.

I hope the final episode to be all smiles and joy.

Wow. This episode was amazing.

Sade could just beat her magic just like that? I was expecting a whole-ass fight scene lol. But I guess that also makes her such a badass. Also, living in the past without altering the future too much must've been a pain in the ass. I wonder if she actually got a boyfriend tho...

FINALLY! The curses are broken! Nico isn't an immortal anymore. Wish we got a look at his face tho. Or at least saw Flea's reaction. I wonder if he'll pretend to be old Nico now lol.

And the most important one, Bocchan can finally touch Alice... They broke down crying after joking about it so many times... Man, even I got emotional.

Again, this was an amazing episode. I really liked that they used ED1 of Season 1 as the ED song of this episode. I hadn't listened to that song for a long time but could still recognize it. Definitely brought back some memories. Man, I really need to rewatch the whole series at some point.

Can't wait for the series finale!

@Sigmar-Unberogen She must've already been aware of the fact that she'd have to abandon Bocchan if he broke his curse and became the heir which would happen eventually. But I think what Victor told her and Rob must've pushed her to make the definitive decision. Even tho Victor told them to prioritize their own feelings over tradition, she was probably sure that there was no other way.

@0451 Agreed, there was foreshadowing in earlier episodes that Alice knew the ending was not going to be happy for her. Honestly I suspeccted she was cursed too or something. Dunno, I may be overdramatizing things but I just can't let this feeling of betrayal disappear. If not for Rob secretly taking note of Alice's train, she would've disappeared and I can't imagine how utterly devastated Bocchan would've been after. I'm just conflicted here. I somewhat get why Alice would run away, but still believe she should've talked with Bocchan instead of abandoning him and leaving him in absolute misery. No way in hell would Bocchan ever find happiness without Alice so it kind of makes lifting his curse meaningless IMO.

Congrats to the 2nd show this season to make me cry.

“You’re the one who taught me the meaning of the white rose, to swear your life to someone.

I don’t care if I have to live apart from my family again, or if I’m poor, or even if everyone hates me. I know how I feel, I want to be with you! What makes me happiest is being with you!”

Marry me!

Over here bawling my eyes out this was perfect. This is why I love romance. Everything Bocchan and Alice went thru, all the ups and downs, the planning, the fights, it all led to this moment and makes it that much sweeter.

Brav fucking o. Walter can take the heir spot that he wanted so badly and Alice and Bocchan can live together happily ever after. Sade got her closure with Victor and can finally move on, Nico and Oichi got their happy ending, just PERFECT and we still have one more full episode to just show everyone happy together.

Only thing that’s got me a lil worried is whether or not Walter will be allowed to marry Daleth if he’s heir… if not, little sister could take it I guess lmao. Who cares about titles, just like Harry and Megan irl. You can’t control who you’re born to, but you can decide your happiness and more power to all these people for doing it.

Finally, an anime that knows how to use a flashback. Unlike every other stupid show, it's not to asspull up some retroactive explanation for some situation, or to create stupid tension by denying the audience information for some arbitrary period of time, but rather to preserve the tone for the coming scenes before finally moving on to the tone the new information sets.

That said, this ending was pretty unsatisfying. They shouted at some hysterical monster witch until she finally listened to reason entirely at random, then we forced a dramatic parting that was obviously not going anywhere to literally everyone in the universe: He was obviously going to find her pretty much immediately, since he knows basically every powerful witch ever, every wizard, a familiar, and has a series of magical tools at his disposal.

Rob outright kept her departure a secret, which forced Bocchan to magic his way over to the train. A more spiteful master wouldn't have let that slide. Hell, I'm barely letting that slide, but only because he told him where to find her.

Quality episode, it’s surprising we get another one after what could be a perfect end! Bit silly that Alice left, but I guess even she has insecurities. She needed confirmation from Bocchan and he didn’t disappoint. No idea what next week will bring, but a wedding or 3 would be nice…

What an episode, still got to me even though I thought that the final scene with Alice and the train was conflicting drama for the sake of it. I guess she's that just good natured, thinking she believes that was what's best for Bocchan's future. That embrace at the beginning of the episode was heart felt though.

Even though it happened so fast it was such a cathartic moment for Bocchan's curse to be broken finally. Been watching this anime since the first season aired, and I couldn't hold my tears back. Then the proposal in the end made me cry again. I'm happy this is getting such a great ending/adaptation.

In Rob's defense I'd say he didn't tell Bocchan sooner because he wasn't certain if Alice would actually run. He took note of ticket just in case and confessed immediately and provided intel as soon as Bocchan confirmed her leaving. It's not like he was spying on Alice all the time, plus he's old so he may have also been asleep and not immediately notice Alice running away from the mansion. So yeah, I can't blame Rob at all he cares about Alice too after all.

The best episode in this series, the direction for this episode was perfect, even though I've read the manga, I still cried twice in a row.

And also the 3D animation in this episode is really beautiful to look at, the OST, character expressions, everything is perfect.

Let's see how they will show Bocchan and Alice's wedding scene.

This was such an emotional yet happy episode, I teared up along with them.

The way Alice started crying hugging bocchan was so touching, wasn't ready to see Alice cry like that.

When Victor was talking with Rob, the way Viola was holding bocchan, it was so adorable. I wish Walter also hugged Bocchan but his usual reaction was still enjoyable, it was so like him. Love these siblings.

Alice running away seemed a bit too extra, I thought they already had enough confessions and had utmost trust on each other's feelings to not have any kind of second thoughts later on. But then being overdramatic is just really fitting for this anime so I eventually teared up. Everything was so beautifully done with the ED of the 1st season playing in the background.

But I think it was quite soon for them to reach such conclusions before meeting the mother. From what I can tell after seeing her being so proud of her son when he told her that he wants to marry no one else but Alice, I believe she wouldn't mind breaking the old custom for just once for her son's happiness or she might even accept her son's wish to keep living in that mansion.

Anyway, I can't wait to see the last episode. Really hope to see Bocchan and Alice getting married.

Leaving aside my opinion about Sade being forgiven and the forced last-minute drama with Alice leaving, I think this was a pretty good and rewarding episode. Particularly loved the scene with Bocchan and Alice hugging and letting it all out once his curse was finally broken. Alice's VA did a wonderful job in that regard, I must add.

I'm really satisfied that I have picked that lighthearted romcom and followed it since season one.
It has been a really sweet and funny anime for the most part, the overarching plot only really started in season three.

But what I didn't expect was that the production team was able to pull off that kind of romantic drama in the episodes last minutes.
Surely I have expected another obstacle for Alice and Bocchan. Alice running away was not out of question, but a bit questionable,
that boy would do anything for her, probably because of this, she decided not to stay in the way of his future.

The scene on the train was so beautifully directed with the music and the voice acting, the animation and everything was so damn romantic. KIYAAA!
just beautiful, romantic anime can be so good.

They should really do their whining at manga forums.

I am feel happy and not regret to continue this anime when first time i watched this anime season 1 i doubt about the graphic didn't feel comfortable with graphic CGI. But nevermind i found interested thing that the plot is unique Each episode makes me curious about the mystery of the curse and makes me impatient for how the episode will continue. in this anime that tell us about friendship and loneliness and love that doesn't have to be had. And I'm grateful that the ending was happy ending even though some episodes were very emotional and the story telling was very good.

Yeah the payoff for all that buildup since the first season feels good. Might feel like an eternity for the guy, but yeah finally he could answer to Alice's advances in a similar way( Ν‘° ΝœΚ– Ν‘°)

Jokes aside, with the curse thing being taken care of and Alice's supposed departure from Bocchan's life too, I wonder how they'd conclude the finale.

what an emotional episode. that curse was surprisingly easy to remove especially for how much trouble it gave the duke. Finally the payoff of the entire series the proposal omg the hug too with the animation it popped off so hard but yeah I don't know what alice was cooking just leaving like that at least it gave us one of the best scenes of the series. it kinda reminded me of blue hair from toradora in the fight scene against taiga how she didn't return those feelings so he wouldn't mindlessly follow her to americca at the cost of his future. though here he's still the eldest son of a noble family even if he can't be the head by marrying alice which is what his true dream was anyways which she saw too. maybe that just means she's flawed too? despite the ups and downs I think the happy ending is worth it
