Hey I got around to watching Spice and Wolf, its pretty good. To be honest I usually avoid any series with anthropomorphic animal characters, but this was a pleasant surprise. I still have to find the remake that follows the novels. Ive learned that all merchants are scam artists and crooks watching this show, and they're always talking about good food. Holo is kind of a devious manipulator from my perspective but I enjoyed her and Lawrence's interactions. I was really hoping they would say "I love you" at least once at the end. Even Gourry said that in Slayers premium with the speech curse, and he didn't even know. Anyway I really enjoyed it, liked Lawrence going from fearing her wolf form to riding her Princess Monoke Style.

Ookami seems to be very accessible, ill give it a try seems like a nice calm show. Sword & Sorcery + Comedy is my favorite genre, and so far Japan is the best at all three. The only experience I have with romance are Riichi Ueshiba's works, I don't mind a lot of dialogue. Been watching Orb: On the Movements of the Earth and that's very dialogue heavy.

Apparently Noonsa is the handsomest of all the fishmen, think the flying fish said so. At first I thought the Zanaffar was some awesome hydra dragon based on the Copy Rezo fiasco. The wolf Zanaffar was kind of disappointing, but I have to admit the novel illustration was pretty good. Remembering Lina not wasting time in the novels and ending Zanaffar almost immediately, went Gourry brain for a second to register. Sadly I think slayers anime adaptations are over, but after reading the novels I really want an anime that follows the novels. Maybe even uncensored, the gore & body horror parts might be too nightmarish though. I think the original voice cast would be a deal breaker if they didn't return. I'm unfamiliar with Spice and Wolf.

Lets see errors in the casting pose.... I don't know but ill just make some guesses. If its the first dragon slave the talismans and pauldrons of that design shouldn't be there. Her chest isn't flat enough, and I don't see those rosey cheek lines. Is the neck talisman supposed to be gold? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I didn't know Slayers the motion picture was Slayers Perfect, wish it said that on the DVD cover. The strongest guys on Mipross Island stands out to me as well especially the Naga jellyfish sea cucumber battle.

If I remember correctly doesn't Jeffreys mother also get knocked out during one those teleport attacks? Speaking of the cloning mirror, in the novels there was that Lina doppelganger kind of disappointing it wasn't Lina's mirror clone. Wish there were mini Lina golem figures.

That first dragon slave with the dragon scenes that lead up to it is what got me into Slayers ill never forget that. Since you brought up Noonsa didn't he survive in the novels, I don't remember him dying in those? I may be wrong but NEXT seems to have the highest concentration of comedy. My personal favorite is Martina's pain share curse and Lina blasting her with a fireball anyways. Wish we knew more about Luna and the things Lina went through that created such a fear, unless shes in novel volumes 16-17 haven't gotten there yet. I really enjoy all the Slayer scenes that involve unintentional collateral damage.

Its too bad REvoltionR didn't stand out much to you, but Wizer trying to arrest Lina for the crime of being Lina Inverse and everyone else becomes her makeshift legal team is always funny to me. I totally agree Zuma being far more threatening in the Novels, I also prefer Seigram in the novels.

Yeah that’s what I should’ve done also, but instead I seen it right before the new adaptation started coming out, so now decided to wait it up a bit coz when I tried the first ep I was like ffs I just seen this xD
Nah, honestly I love rewatching. At the beginning it would be only my favourite series but now it’s like if I only seen it once I don’t mind a rewatch, and if I’ve watched it long time ago, yeah that’s a rewatch :D
But with you have a lot of rewatched already so why not updating it anymore? I’ve decided long time ago that I’m keeping in on that 22 I already had and no more.

I do finish my anime. Its just that I been doing a lot of rewatches recently, I’ve rewatched spice and Wolfe, all seasons of kuroko, and plenty more series but I just don’t upload it so might look like I’m slacking off

Hahaha I think I might be you know. I was out with my friend hmmm on Monday and we were having drinks went for a quick smoke outside and I saw bird flying over us and I thought in my head “ rah they better not shit on me “ and then literally 2 mins later the bird shatt on my friend xD

HIAC 2019 left an extremely sour taste in my mouth too. Bray's death gutted me, and I still find myself struggling to enjoy Rollins even in this current run, which is arguably his best.
