 A television anime adaptation of Tomoki Izumi's Mieruko-chan manga was announced by Kadokawa on Thursday. The publishing company also opened an official website, revealing the main staff, a teaser visual (pictured), teaser promotional video, and its 2021 premiere.Synopsis Miko is a typical high school student whose life turns upside down when she suddenly starts to see gruesome and hideous monsters. Despite being completely terrified, Miko carries on with her daily life, pretending not to notice the horrors that surround her. She must endure the fear in order to keep herself and her friend Hana out of danger, even if that means coming face to face with the absolute worst. Blending both comedy and horror, Mieruko-chan tells the story of a girl who tries to deal with the paranormal by acting indifferent toward it. | Passione... Should I even give them a chance after what I’ve seen with higurashi so far? From what I’ve seen, they’ve been cutting corners on how they animate things or how they portray scenes. I really like this manga, don’t want it ending up a total disappointment. |
| Surprising, but glad that this is getting an anime. The manga's actually pretty good. I originally thought that it would get stale and repetitive, but series has managed to keep things interesting by not being completely dependent on its premise. |

| I'm so excited for this! I love the manga and I hope the anime is gonna be as good. I felt like the teaser didn't really show the ambiance in the manga, but it's called "Fear ver." so I hope they make another teaser that conveys a bit more of that morbid humor too~ |

Ishuzoku has the best animation for an ecchi anime ever and Higurashi from what i saw was pretty good too, but idk how it is in the later parts of the anime tho |

| Well, this is a pleasant surprise to start the day with. I do have some concerns about how the anime will pull off the designs for the spirits - as they're so insanely detailed and intricate a lot of the time - but I'm excited nonetheless as this is proving to be a very good manga so far. |

| I like horror. And the PV have strong Yuri vibes . Girl pressing her breast against other girls back,,YEEEEEEEEEEES And In the manga my little lesbians are saying ,,,YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES But there are a male in the manga . And I prefer only female cast it works better for my taste. Hopefully either he wont be in the anime. Or he will be good support and then I will have no problems with him. Going to give it a chance anyhow Awwwww the lesbians are so cute holding on to each other for safety ❤ ❤ And I really like strong females that protects their girlfriends  |
