This anime can even help to study, they even mentioned the Von Willerband factor. Also platelets are really cute, I wonder if they made them children because in real life they just live for like 2 weeks.

A fun episode but felt very similar to the first one. If they can do unique stories every episode that would be awesome but for now it’s going to get kind of boring if it’s just germ of the week every episode

My wish came true. I got to see the platelets and their diabetes-inducing adorableness. That stair scene made my heart explode from their cuteness. I’m sure some of the freaks and geeks out there are lewding them. I already saw a fanart of the leader platelet with humongous tits online.

So much damage over a scrape on the skin LOL! Also, RBC almost BLEED out from the scrape. Neutrophil helped her out though and her senpai is safe too. Some of those germs look like Pokemon. They’re pretty cute too.

OMG I love how violent the WBCs are. They are so fucking awesome!

I’m sure everyone has diabetes now after the platelets came in and covered the wound with their cute fibrin mesh.

Are we going to start shipping cells together? I can’t help but ship Neutrophil and RBC AE 3803.

Platelet is best cell. Best girl. Best everything.

White blood cells are the best. The germ designs are pretty cool too. It's nice to see how accurate the anime portrayed the platelets' role in closing open wounds.

Also amusing this episode that combines well the explanations in the medical field and the needs of an anime that are not to bore the viewer and make the topic interesting. In addition to the erythrocyte, even the characters who play the role of platelets are nice and very nice. The ending already begins to humble her when I have the chance.

The scale of that graze are insanely huge and that is just a skin graze! I'll make sure to handle my body more properly IRL as to not disrupt the cells...

Germs-thirsty WBC was hilarious!

The platelets doing their job to seal the wound was so freaking cute!!! Their teamwork and their job did make it even better! Keep producing more platelets bone marrows!

I think it's because they are smaller than red and white blood cell, in my language, platelet is literally small cell

A simple scrape being that intense for all the cells involved makes me feel a little bit bad thinking about the time where my foot got snagged by a plastic pipe and the heavy scratching from my body getting dragged against the concrete gave me really nasty scrapes in two places. Those poor red blood cells, oof.

The Platelets saved the day by sealing up that gigantic hole after the Neutrophils fought valiantly and rather insanely against the new wave of bacteria but now they're stuck until the mass turns into a scab kek

Another villain down. Those bacteria's are dying for nothing. Platelets are really cute but very efficient. RBC's are seemed a lot useless here but of course they are the one who are keeping the whole body world alive. It was quite weird though that germs had their own blood inside them :\/

Almost forgot to mention, I really thought that WBC 4989 was a gonner but he just hanged there XD !!!

Goodness those platelets are disgustingly cute.

Anyways, I was concerned at first about how realistic-looking Cells at Work's world seemed, as I initially expected the show to take a more literal approach at representing the human body. For example, having more fleshy structures or amorphic character designs. However, by having everything look like a real city with real people, the absurdity of seeing bodily functions represented with realistic elements somehow ends up being hilarious. I loved seeing all the red blood cells trapped during the secondary hemostasis.

I'm never gonna get tired of white blood cells having brawls with bacteria while battle music that's more intense than it has any right to be plays in the background.

Just imagine how they would've animated the person applying disinfectant to the wound lol

They should have represented protein as some construction material like cement or putty, since, well, it's the job of protein, to be the construction material in the cell. So the red blood cells should also be shown to carry protein as a construction material.

Well, guess I got half of the details wrong, but I am not in a mood to refer my high school biology textbook.

So we lose our MC's if the human picks the scab?! nooooooooo (wait, don't white blood cells also only have a lifespan of like a few days at most or something?! DON'T DIE ON US!!!!! (Red are like 120 days then eaten by macrophages or something))

Lots of good information here, she did some preparation for this invasion, but didn't realize the power of platelets to close her forces entryway.
5/5, Just realized they are wearing blue jeans to represent the optical illusion we see of veins being blue (the cells are actually never blue apparently)
