I guess I can identify a lot with Hayase, that's why I felt this episode a lot more than should be normal. Can't wait to finish these series and see how it ends. These last episodes have been really good. |

| I think they've actually nailed it on the head for showing Minmay as a spoiled idol, who went directly from being a teenager to being a star. Kaifun may be a bit of a jerk, most managers are, but he does seem to believe in Minmay's music and have a little bit of integrity. And yes, Hayase deserves much better than Ichigo, but unfortunately for better or worse I think she has fallen in love with him. This wouldn't be the first time I've said to myself, why would a wonderful woman like you fall for a jerk like him? |

| The weird mix of pity, disdain, admiration and relation for Kaifun and Minmay at the end was the highlight of the episode for me... That dog was the first character in an anime I've shared my first name with. Kind of funny that it's a dog. |
| Hikaru was an ass this episode, no excuses. Minmay was also at fault for persuading him to blow off the promise. When he was running back to Misa, I was hoping that he'd tell the truth instead of lying. Might not be the best idea but if he had given up on Minmay right then and there, I'm sure Misa would've forgiven him. Hikaru said "farewell" to Minmay after she was dragged out by Kaifun, it could've been farewell as in goodbye forever or something. I was also surprised at how Hikaru could wrap the scarf around Misa, doesn't he feel any guilt for using a present that her love rival gave to him? |

| All of the development Hikaru got went down the drain. He's worst of a person than he was in the beginning of the show. Hayase is definitely the best character in the show all the way through. Hikaru is a stupid immature brat. Mimmay is a self centered, spineless husk of a decent human being. Kaifun is a selfish bitter asshole. |

| Wow Hikaru, I didn't know you were a piece of shit like that man! Way to let Minmay get taken advantage of like that, bub! How are we supposed to like our protagonist when he does stuff like this? Hell, at the end even Kaifun was played more sympathetic than our ol' pal Ichijo. The lack of action was mended from last episode, but the thought occurred to me: I have a hard time believing kids would enjoy watching some of this back in the day, or even now. Also, Substance Abuse the Series! |

| I don't understand why people blame Hikaru almost exclusively because of the skipped date rather than the lack of reaction when Minmei was standing againt her cousin. He clearly loves Hayase now (zut!), and went to see Minmei because it was a long time ago since the last time and everything. He didn't even feel any culpability (and was right) about the scarf. And Minmei can't be seen as a "spoiled idol" anymore, she grew out of it since her younger days. She knows now that she actually missed something and the poor girl tries to get it too late (-_-). Also, Kaifun giving the lesson ? Really? Yes, he might not be wrong here but... no, she earned the right to her own life aside singing for the others! 4/5 The mix of good close-ups and ugly footage elsewhere is regrettable. @peetza Kids didn't need action back then, maybe? I didn't. (In France, we had Maison Ikkoku and a lot of magical girls broadcasted successfully in the kids slot.) |

I s'pose it could have to do with the split target demographic, with robots for boys and pop stars for girls, but that begs the question: Were the pretty girls just meant to excite the boys as well? It's a hard question for me to speculate on since this was 12 years before I was born : p |

Hikaru suddenly likes Hayase, and they want to pretend as if all these episodes where, for two years, he was pathetically lusting after a girl who not only rejected him, but is also now some other guy's girlfriend, never happened. And of course, there was that part where Kaifun has the fucking nerve to lecture Minmay about being selfish, after all the shit he has pulled until now. |

| I have no idea what's going on in Hikaru's mind. He never sticks up for Minmay, but he's never honest with Hayase either. Seems like he can't quite make up his mind, or he just doesn't know how to deal with the love triangle. Though, that doesn't excuse him for standing Hayase up for the entire day. Then again, Hayase is never honest to Hikaru either, but he's so laser focused on Minmay that he probably wouldn't notice. On top of that, Minmay acts so helpless before Kaifun, unable to pull away from him. She cares for Hikaru, but has a hard time approaching him. It very much bothers me that Hikaru couldn't at least say something when Keifun threw water at Minmay's face. It looks like after the war and questions of the human condition, it's hardcore love drama. Specifically, drama reliant on its characters making terrible decisions, suffering, and wallowing in depression before making more terrible decisions. At the very least, it's nice seeing Minmay finally making a decision for herself, even though it was kind of harshly done. If Keifun really leaves the series like this, he gets away with so much of the show's drama without much reprisal. Was his character's existence really just to stir trouble? |

| So the boyfriend wannnabe turned manager Kaifun is gone. Well he needs to because the story will finish soon. Who cares about the character development right? Only 2 more ep left and Hikaru keep regressing. Minmay youre 2 years late to reciprocate Hikaru's feeling. Why you even liked that Kaifun in the first place? Well yeah, you have no reason to love him but the story need a drama. Kaifun was introduced to create a love triangle and to prolong the romance plot. Hayase why not go out with that glasses guy. He at least deserve you rather than Hikaru. |
