Oh wow... flying through the Macross franchise, are you? :D What did you think of Macross Plus?

I get your point. It's definitely true, that you can't apprechiate the movie if you haven't watched the series as well. I like them both very much, but it's been years that I've seen the series and just recently the movie. My memories are hazy if it comes to those 36 episodes so I definitely need to rewatch it in the near future. ^^

Oh yeah. It's been a while since I've watched that series. That's still the only Macross I've ever seen, I've been meaning to watch more lately, maybe 7.

I've watched the movie just recently myself too and I was totally overwhelmed by the animation quality, it looked beautiful. I liked the characters much more than in the series, especially Minmay. For me, this movie is the best in the franchise beside Macross Plus. I had fun with the other series as well but story-wise these two are my favourites :D

If you're interested in epic slaps then I recommend the original Gundam. It has several hilarious slap scenes. You can also get to know about the infamous "Bright-slap". xD

Do you like Macross so far? I hope you have fun with it. It even gets better later and I recommend the movie, Do you remember love as well, because it's amazing :D
