| Damn, I really like this show. I thought it was going to be Shizuka behind the mask. Cornelia is tougher than I first expected. |
| Ouch, that loss. Hm well he needs to really gain people's trust first, can't expect everyone to be like those in Shinjuku. Well it's the people's fault that they got killed, seriously, surrendering? I'm not sure if they knew just how ruthless the empire is. In this case, fighting was a way better option than surrendering, which meant inevitable death whereas listening to Lelouch's orders would've given them a higher chance of survival. I guess Lelouch's downfall in this battle was that he trusted that everyone would follow his orders, and didn't have a back up plan, but he probably won't make the same mistake again. I actually don't like all the Light vs. Lulu talk, but I think this is what distinguishes them so far, that Lulu is overconfident and doesn't have back up plans. Lelouch is definitely a genius, no doubt, but so far, not as great as Light, (manga) in which we see Light and L (or any of his other opponents, Mellow or Near) have all their internal conversations anticipating many possibilities of the enemies' next step. But it's all good, because Lelouch will sure grow from this, people grow from losing. |
| Well good ep but Light n Lelouch yes r similar but completely different Light was just making a world for him n really no one else while Lelouch is trying to make a world for his sister well at least as of now there is several episode for this n the next season. |

| I have to admit I was scared for Lelouch there for a little bit; however, I feel like C.C's sudden appearance was kind of a deus ex machina. On the other hand, it was cool to see that Lelouch isn't all powerful and doesn't always win. Not everything goes as planned! |

| This was a good episode. I thought Lelouch was going to get caught lol. But I'm glad he lost as it makes the situation more realistic and a person can't win every single time no matter how clever they are.. Unlike Light, he can't do anything in his own, even though he is good. I love Light way more, his personality, the way he uses his intelligence, his looks and everything about him really lol (not about him that he turned out evil). But I love Lelouch too. I hope there is more character development in the coming episodes. |

| Loved this episode. I see why Lelouch hates the Emperor. Cornelia telling everyone to show their faces was quite clever, thought Lelouch was a goner there for a moment, guess he's gonna have to up his game. |

| Robots beating the hell out of each other was starting to feel a little overdue. Really solid episode. It was about time something didn't perfectly go Lelouch's way. And his battle with Cornelia was just really well animated and written. It was also interesting how he ultimately fails because the resistance are untrained. And also they don't trust him enough to blindly follow. In some ways as he complains at the end a fault of the conditions. But in a way Lelouch isn't mature enough to admit it's his fault too. I also really liked the cold start. It was also about time we learned about the Emperor and what his deal with Lelouch is. Last but not least C.C. saving him at the end was pretty bad ass. At first I had no idea who it could be. That would have access to a Zero suit. And then it clicked. Cool ending. |

| Lelouch is 17th in line to the throne. The Emperor's pullout game is weak AF! Lelouch looking fierce. Nunnally nipples. Wow. That savage response from the Emperor. I had to laugh at Lelouch squealing when the Emperor got up. So that's when he took off his clothes in the ED. Oh shit! Kallen pulled out the knife. LMAO at the cat. Pizza Hut stickers for Cheese-kun. Oh, there's definitely something between you and Lelouch, my beautiful Kallen. Orange-kun is being left out of the action. Dat Pizza Hut box. Uh...why did it seem like C.C. was talking to someone when her tone changed? Dat bite. Lelouch lost this battle. Cornelia got him rethinking every possible way to escape. What? Zero? It's C.C. |

| Wow...the king of Britannia sure is an asshole. Acting like Nunnally is useless since she's crippled and acting all tough towards a little kid, like he really feels threatened... When I saw those rice balls filled with jam, the only thing I could think of is how a 4kids dub of the show would try to pass them off as "peanut butter and jelly sandwiches." Well, this episode reminded us that Lelouch's power isn't a perfect solution to every problem, and he's still just a teenager. C.C. barely saved his ass this time. |

| What's wrong with LL taking a defeat? You all expect him to be another Gary Stu with that edgy vibe like other harem/fantasy anime? This defeat was necessary, it serves as a knocking bell to LL to make him realize that he cannot usurp the throne on his own, he needs help, he needs to be less arrogant and less fantasized a bit. Other than that, making the opposing side powerful, intimidating and competent will actually pay off a lot when LL manage to kick their ass in the late game as well as making the anime less boring/predictable/repetitive. |

| Wait, Lelouch lost? I'm not watching this to see an overpowered character lose. It was interesting seeing Lelouch get his ass handed to him by Cornelia. She is obviously intelligently superior to Clovis in almost every aspect imaginable. Wonder what steps Lelouch is going to take from here, especially given that it looks like C.C. will be helping out now. |
