Not sure how I'm feeling about this series anymore.;; I mean, I understand the direction they're going, but I'm just not sure if I like it.

A bit of a slower episode, but I do like the overall development!

Hajime and Katze both need more screentime. Right now, they are focusing too much on politics which is my least favourite subject.

Ah, politics. Glad Rizumu knows what's up.
I’m always searching for something, for someone. This feeling has possessed me I think, from that day… That day when the stars came falling.

At this point I can really only like Hajime and JJ, lol. Maybe Jou-san as well as he's really just standing up to his vision, despite not going the best way about it.

Somehow everything delving into social problems is considered angsty nowadays. The season is pretty much on point.

It's a pretty relevant topic for our time on a worldwide scale, really. Actually, scratch that "for our time" part.
If as much people understood what this show tried to tell as some people seem to imply, we wouldn't have as many extremist groups running around as we do.

Gelsadra is incredibly dangerous, an idealist like that with no grasp of the real world is a problem. Uniting everyone under one way of thinking is impossible as long as free will exists. I am concerned Gel seems to have the mentality of the end justifies the means and wants to use people's emotions and wishes as a driving force. Which as Rui pointed out, they tend to be ephemeral. Not only that but Tsubasa's promises are leading her to taking all responsibility from people and having them rely strictly on Gatchaman instead of relying on themselves.

I'm a bit late to the party, but I just wanted to state my opinion on this episode for a very specific reason. This post is quoted because I believe it sums up the situation quite well.

As for my specific reason for posting, it is because I believe this episode was extraordinary when it came to writing that put the puzzle pieces together. While the series itself isn't anything special this episode achieved something quite spectacular. It managed to create a villain who was actually correct and we get to learn the (actually good) reasoning before the half-way mark of the series. I won't go into why this is a very important thing, but I do want to acknowledge the achievement and give credit where credit is due.

As a side note - like it or not, most people are sheep who can't think for themselves. Even if they can, they don't bother doing research to verify their beliefs. Going with the flow never works on a large scale.

Public opinion. This is quite a show, does some weird ass stupid stuff at times and throws in realism right after.

Hajime really is one of the best characters ever!

Sugane with his harem. Its the same girls so it has to be confirmed by now. :D

Hajime slaying that outfit.

Sugayama is done after after saying dumb. lol

Gel is the new PM.

I wonder if I'm the only one thinking this will turn into Gatchaman Civil War.
If you see that my post is exactly 1 month old (or more) from when it was posted... Don't waste your time, especially when you want to reply with something petty & insignificant. Assume that I've moved on (because I have).

Hm, I didn't like that "radical" peace activist dude at first, but I didn't realize he had a good point until this episode. The reason being for that is because I believed people should take it into their hands and choose for themselves. However, if - hypothetically - even 60% of people just "went with the flow" and elected someone who would grant their every wish... then that 60% is dangerous because they aren't really "choosing." They'll just go with the hype.. and sometimes that may include feelings of hatred and negative feelings in general.

So I guess one of the themes of this season is: Should "the average people" really be allowed to make decisions? Obviously, either option has downsides and upsides to it. I even find myself switching sides on this particular topic.

Damn the story just keeps getting better. Lmfao at that cameraman. I'm pretty sure these politicians in real life think people are dumb behind their facades and I also love the portrayal of biased media and the sheep mentality of the public.

I just know since last episode that Gel and Tsubasa will fuck things up even though they have good intentions. Can't wait how Hajime will play a role into all of this. I'm anticipating her involvement. So far I'm really enjoying this show.

That twist with Sugayama's camera still being on was predictable but funny

I can't stop thinking about Joe's hair being red from the inside.

Just realized that Rui can now control Red Crowds too.

I wonder if there're any TV shows in Japan apart from the one Gel, OD and Tsubasa appear on lol.

A tip to Hajime and Rui: they don't have to stand upside down.

P.S. Noticed that the ED briefly shows Hajime and Utsutsu performing an INAZUMA KICK!

P.P.S. I don't think Gelsadra's vision (which is basically ultrapopulism) is that much different from Crowds, tbh.
