The only song I liked from YY season 1 and 2 was the second OP, but while the new OP and ED are just as bad to me as the non-OP2 songs from the previous seasons, they now have the added problem of sounding cheaply made. They lack production value, from a purely professional standpoint, I notice a budget feel from all the music, especially the insert music. HOWEVER the art is good, and while the timing is off on most of the jokes, it wasn't a total wash. But I am getting Minami-Ke season 2 flashbacks. My theory: This episode was finished/ in production before the two OVAs were, and the OVAs are more in tune with what we can expect going forward; except for more polished art. |

| This wasn't as good as the previous seasons, but much better than the movie and the 2 OVAs. The slow pacing, K-On or Non Non Biyori style relaxing atmosphere, with barely any of the usual jokes and instead the girls spouting mushy dialogues did not fit these characters and that's not what Yuru Yuri is in the first place. So I'm glad the characters are at least back to being themselves and aren't the lobotomized versions from the movie and the OVAs. |
| That was surprisingly entertaining. Didn't enjoy the first two seasons so had my doubts about it. The animation quality has significantly improved which is very pleasing. Hoping that the rest of the show will continue its present quality. |

| Not going to lie I really wanted to like it but it just feels lifeless compared to previous seasons. We're one episode in and I'm already missing the love of Doga Kobo and the old staff. TYO Animations just can't match their quality with 4-koma adaptations. I'll give it the 3 episode chance but this start was pretty rough. |

| I am so happy that my favorite anime is back!! The only thing I want to say is that I'm definitely not used to the intro and outros being so different from the previous ones. Other than that, I am so excited to see what's to come in future episodes. |
| ANIMEOFTHEYEAR but no, OP and ED disappointing, YRYR really took a hit by changing studios. Yet I still love every bit of it, I hope they improve the quality over time. |

| Episode 2 is out but I only got around to the first one now so I'm a little late to the part, not gonna say much and just do a quite single episode review. OH, YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES! It's been a long time since we had a new Yuru Yuri season, it was basically dead but then the rights were bought by a new company and after making two OVAs they got nothing but good results and thus begins a third season. The animation is massivelly improved and impressive for today's animation standard, massive props go to the OP as it is beautifully animated and a good note to start on. Not only that but there are tons of extra little details that add to the overall look and every movement is smooth and the background are beautifully vibrate. The humour is just as spot on as always, not using too much or too little and always hitting at the right moments and I laughed plenty of times just in this episode alone. This is on its way to going right into my favourites. |

| Too bad they didn't use the op from the ova...but the new ed is better... ...The scene Yui tickle Kyouko is so erotic. Chinatsu: "Just as planned...oh wait--" Hanako take care of Akari, just like an older sister, that's cute, and Akari still has bad luck, but at least she won't disappear anymore... |

| Ehhh....?! I think that's the first time I've seen the existence of sensei and classes in YuruYuri. But still prefer the usual clubroom in the first part than new classes and sensei though. Messing around the club with the ousama game was hilarious. That Sugiura x Himawari was... xD LOL.. poor Chinatsu-chan. Sakurako's imouto and Akari was sooooo cute. Hahahaha. I won't complain as long as there's more YuruYuri. |
