| Felt extremely rush. Transitions between scenes are poorly made and the overall flow of the story is a mess. Out of all the LNs adaptations I’m watching, this one has been the most disappointing and disjointed. I doubt things will get better either. Just like previous episodes, in this episode everything just went light speed for me to even care. We went from a night-festival scene with Mari to the middle of an extremely short tournament fight with 15th squad to a lackluster magic-power suit showdown with mr. psychopath-necromancer, finally ending with Mari acceptance into the team thanks to Ouka intervention (how? Well a quick flashback tells us that she went all crime scene investigator on us sometime between this and the last episode, figures). Also, in episode 3 we got this guy from squad 15th being an ass to the MC, next, in episode 4, that same guy is being impale by a vine shoot from mr. psychopath-necromancer. Should I care? for some odd reason something tell I should care about this random guy since he and the MC seem to know each other. Anyway, I’ll keep watching this a little bit longer since I somewhat enjoy Mari and Ouka constant bickering. I might, just might, read the LN in the future, if I have the time. By the way, all of Mari’s magical attacks in this episode felt really underwhelming. |

| The rushed is strong in this one. The dialogues are all over the place! Thing's happening so fast, one after another! Am I supposed to think that this episode is important? They should make this into 2 episodes at least! My expectation went from 70 to 20 real fast. If they going to keep things like this, I might drop this... |

Sure the episode was rushed, but how heck wasn't important? Every episode in anime show is always crucial regardless of pace. The only truly superfluous episode are the ones where nothing happens. |
| Hmm, I kinda expected that it would be rushed, but I was hoping that the fight scene would be decent, especially Mari's magic - surely they can do better than that? The pace should be dropping a bit in the next episode, but if it doesn't, I do hope they won't rush volume 4 and 5. |
| Fight was okay. The music certainly makes the anime better than it actually is though IMO. |

| Loss all interest in this the moment that damn armor was introduced. Only reason i picked this series was because i was expecting at least some decent fights and it's not even delivering on that...if i wanted to see some shitty CGI armour suits i would had just stick wih Garo. At least the OST is pretty damn good. |

| Dang, I am really digging the BGM but that fight was really bad :( Not as exciting as I would've liked, even though Haunted having his "heroification" version of the transformation was pretty cool. I mean everyone else on the team JUST SO HAPPENING to get back into the fight when it mattered? Please ... Haunted is pretty creepily obsessed with Mari and I can't believe Takeru used the SAME FREAKING LINE on her OTL Is it just me or does the pacing seem like we're just going blazing fast?! I mean now that they defeat him (for now I'm guessing) Mari's gonna join "officially" now (though she gets special uniform privileges or something). Idk ... I was hoping this show would be a little better tbh >_< |

| This show needs more fanservice. It's stupid harem, i don't give much shit about the plot. | Between the awful music, awful dialogue, the boring villain, and the incredibly awkward cg/movements during the fight, I found myself skipping through a lot of this episode. Not a very enjoyable episode overall. This is also probably the worst implementation of cg I've seen in a while. |
| Matsuoka Yoshitsugu has hardly any range as a voice actor, and is grossly over-cast. Yeah. I said it. |

| CGI CGI CGI WTF??? :D CGI exists in movie's & in some series this is anime its ANIMATION awry-thing is ANIMATION but anime's this days are created with computers so u could call the hole anime CGI then not just their armor suits cause all is made same way basically kitten320 said: So what crimes exactly was Mari guilty of? | Being a non-LN reader, a show like this doesn't need good pacing. Fucking power suits, magic and hot girls? I'm having fun, and I get turned on every time Ootori is on screen. I'm kind of hoping they go back and forth with crime of the week sword, gun, sniper action, and the giant magical armor, but I'm not going to hold my breath either. Good mindless fun. Also, both Mari and Ootori are tsundere for each other as friends while fighting over Kusanagi, which is a pretty interesting dynamic. |
| Good job, Ouka. It's nice that she investigated instead of being headstrong and rushing in. At this point, I'm not sure who is more creepy: Haunted or the headmaster. It's good, that Mari is a verified member of the team. |

| To many jump plot and this fight just like SSSS series. I feel like watching Iron Man in cartoon. Ootori and Mari can't stop arguing about boobs. Boring fight tbh. |
| Thinking about it, I wonder what it's like voicing minor characters that show up once, have a line or two, and get instantly killed. Anyways, this school, like many other fantasy schools I've seen in anime, really needs better safety protocols. I can't imagine who'd willingly attend schools like this when you can get unceremoniously killed by villains who can just waltz in and murder anyone they want. |
