So Shimono-san's character looks like a love rival in between the main two. I thought Hatano-san's character would be one (even though Misaki thinks that he can be friends with him because of same interest). |

| I read the manga, but I won't spoil. Gosh the OP was so good! Especially at the end with Misaki on top of Usagi and about to kiss (O/////O) Gosh I missed this!! Damn Mizuki-san why must you be cruel to poor Misaki-chan >:( But still, good to see Misaki being jealous lol Kiss scenes always get to me! My inner fujoshi can't take it lol XD! Overall, good first ep! |

| The first episode was great! I'm so excited for the weeks to come! I was also amazed by the art. It really shows how Nakamura has been improving and changing over the years. I love it <3 |

| I ruined my watching experience a bit by (exclusively) reading all the Romantica chapters available. So I don't think anything related to the main couple will surprise me :D The new art is absolutely beautiful. I like the new designs for Shinobu and Miyagi. Speaking of which, the OP contains all couples. So we will see them too in furure episodes. Looking forward to next week! |

| When I saw that 3 season is confirmed I couldn't calm down. Today I felt... same~ All episode I'm screaming and don't believe we can see Misaki and Usagi and you know AAAAHHH! feels is stronger than my self-control XD I don't read manga (without a few volumes) so I can't wait next episode! Beggining is better than I excepted ^_^ |
| I don't normally comment, but it is SO GOOD to see/ hear Misaki and Usagi again- it's been so long! The art and animation is absolutely gorgeous and I really liked how during the flashback scenes to episode 1 of the first season, they didn't rehash old footage, but actually updated it with the new art so that it blended with the current style- that made me happy :3 The opening and ending were also very nice (though I'm drawn to the ED a tad bit more >///<) Upon seeing Egoist and Terrorist (And possibly Mistake?) in the OP it looks like they will most likely be in the third season. | I'm really impressed at the improved animation. I enjoyed the episode because of that, lol. I caught myself thinking how it'd be nice if they could renew the last two seasons. I agree the OP & ED are good, esp because of that Misaki on top of Usami bit at the end...very cute. I'm not a fan of the main couple's story, but I actually like the other 2 couples stories. Sooo I hope that tease in the OP means they'll get more than a minute of screen time (aka Nakamura's famous train appearances next to the MC ;v;) |

| Hope's review on ANN was spot on for me. I was pretty disappointed by this episode. You would think that after living together for three years, the main couple's relationship would have developed more. Instead, it feels like they could have met 3 weeks ago. Aside from one mature conversation about the future of their relationship and telling Misaki's brother, the rest of this episode just didn't do much for me. ^^! Nevertheless, I'm still watching Junjou Romantica. I enjoy the side couples enough to continue watching. |

I love JR with my whole little dirty fujoshi heart - my first yaoi and well, it's just dawwww and warm like freshly baked waffles... at least first seaon was when it comes to Romantica couple, because darn, their relationship is like 70 chapters of the same shit repeated all over again. I know that Usagi is socially akward and him wanting to lock Misaki in a golden cage might be an interesting plotpoint in the beginning but given that this is repeated all the time and Misaki is the biggest push-over uke that graced worldwide popular yaoi titles... God. I'm terribly glad JR is back but opening suggests we're going to reach this incredibly stupid Ijuuin-sensei arc Misaki doesn't have a clue that "no" word exists (not counting "no as a yes" towards Usagi) and will continue to be a non-assertive idiot. The only saving grace for Romantica at this point is Usagi, who actually GETS a shred of character development during this arc. Other than that I'm happy that Egoist and Terrorist couples at least showed up in the opening, that means they might get those two episodes for our watching pleasure. What would I give for a whole series of Egoist... Even though I criticize the main couple, I'll continue to watch as well. I like the overall atmosphere and humour of JR and even if Misaki is an idiot (idiot with a big heart but an idiot still) and I question Usagi's morality, I have a soft spot for the whole cast. Just please, someone needs to give Nakamura some ideas about creating other arc and what character development is. |
| It's finally back! It has been so long though, after watching this episode I feel like I should re-watch the past seasons or re-read the manga. For the plot/characters/etc, despite the flaws, we all know this isn't the greatest BL title that exists. I'm just glad the genre's still alive in anime. |

The romance afterwards was so-so. I also don't get the reviewer's point with the 'rape' and 'persons are just sex toys' thing. This might be true for the first episodes of season 1. But we're in season 3 already. Nothing here happens without consent. And if one doesn't see the character developement (even in episode 1 of season 3), he obviously doesn't want to see. I really can't see how Love Stage's characters are deeper or have a better relationship. I am no Nakamura Fanboy per se. I think there are so many better BL manga out there, which unfortunately never get anime adaptions.So we can be grateful to be able to watch 'the mother of all yaoi anime' season 3 right now. A lot of yaoi's popularity nowadays is because of Nakamura and her works. So I'm fed up with the complaining about her stories all the time. |

| Couldn't help but like this first episode. So cute! The character design looks so much better. They look younger! I'll keep to myself the fact that I'm tired of Nakamura's stuff and enjoy this season as a whole. Glad to hear Takahiro S. voicing Misaki again. |
| I really liked this episode, I've read the manga so I pretty much know how this season is gonna go down (don't worry no spoilers!) but I'm really happy to see it animated. I was actually really impressed by the animation this season, it was really pretty to look and and defiantly a massive step up from previous seasons. I really enjoyed and OP and ED as well (especially the scene in the opening when Misaki goes to kiss Usagi ≧◡≦). I'm really looking forward to the weeks to come! One question though, are the other couples going to be in it this season? 'Cause before the episode aired I saw a lot of comments online saying that the Romantica couple were the only couple going to be in this season but the other couples are featured in the opening? Anyone know it they're in it or not? |

| Loved it! I miss this show! and wow! Three years passed. I can't wait til they confess about their relationship! Misaki's brother is annoying though. I don't think what goes on under Usami's roof concerns him so if Misaki is still staying there then he just is! worry about your kid! It's not that big of a deal if he stays there after he graduates! I don't like Usami's cousin though. |
