Mamoru Miyano's voice is so fit with Berg-Katze. :3 I thought Jou will die but somehow he managed to survive after all. When Pai-Pai transforms is so awesome yet he doesn't know how to defeat Berg-Katze and thus runs away. I like the conversation between Hajime and Berg-Katze; found it interesting.

Cool episode, when Berg removed the note from Joe's gatcha, it looked so painful. And it seems as though Berg only transforms into the darkest persona of a person?? Stupid thought from me, but again, Hajime doing what she does best XD
And whats up with Pai-Pai??
And i'm guessing OD and berg are as strong as each other, and that if OD spreads his wings, he either dies or destroys everything around him.

Okay... I liked this episode, don't get me wrong but I'm starting to get kind of annoyed with the Gatchaman never actually fighting. We are 7 episodes into this anime and the only actual short fight we saw was the first one in the first episode.

I'm getting tired of Hajime's "care and at the same time don't care"-attitude.
I really liked her at the beginning and thought she would actually fight against Berg Katze but she just talks casually to it while two of her friends are nearly dead. There is a point where you have to draw a line, really... Lucky for her she has Utsutsu who can heal them but what if she wasn't there? Would she still just let them lie there dying while she asks Berg Katze some stupid questions?

And at the same time Utsutsu is slowly sacrificing her life force because her friends almost died... and Hajime doesn't even care about that, too.
Pai-Pai turned badass and than completely coward in two seconds... Even if you are too scared to fight, you don't even try to save your friends? You were right, Pai-Pai, you really are a useless Leader.

Hajime has to realize that you can't just "meet" and be friends with everyone. She should've learned by now that she can't reason with Berg Katze, because it just wants to destroy the world.
First she talks to Pai-Pai of how they have to decide something even if it's scary to change something... and in the end she herself does nothing at all... awesome.

Right now I'm really disappointed with the Gatchaman...

I agree wholeheartedly. I know the rest of the forum members blew you up, but i don't care, that's how they feel. It seems that people who don't like Hajime are in the minority, cause apparently she's this totally perfect queen of common sense and we should all bow to her greatness >_>

And to be honest, as much as I'd like to see Katze completely crack her open and expose all her secrets and bs, i betcha she's got some deus ex machinca like 'i'm fully actualized' or there's moe and rainbows in her brain or some shit. Or worse, she hits him with the power of friendship and he falls in line like every other character in this show. Seriously, i like well developed and smart characters, but even Yu Narumaki in all his OP main character advantages had his own concerns and worries, so he was balanced and likeable.

Honestly, Pai ran scared in the face of the DEFINITELY fearsome Katze, Jou was almost dead, Sugane got f'd up, Rui got f'd up WORSE, and all Hajime does is casually walk up to him to try and have a friendly chat? COMPLETELY ignoring the serious and horrible mood of the situation? I mean come on. And people's analysis is 'oh it's because she's so wise and she knows it's a battle she can't win so she made the right choice'.

Jeez, of course. ALL her choices are correct, cause she's little miss perfect...Oh no, just expose yourself as a Gatchaman. What's the worst that could happen? Right right, just turn off your cell phone if people say nasty things about you...cause OBVIOUSLY that's the solution to real problems. Cause OBVIOUSLY problems stop existing when you ignore them. Yeah, Hajime, so perfect ¬_¬

Seriously my friend, everyone here's drinking the kool aid.

I admit I didn't like Hajime at first but she grew on me. What I like about her is not the "perfect" common sense or knows how to get out of every situation stuff, it is that she is 100% honest the entire time, speaks her mind whenever she feels like it and doesn't give a damn what others think about it. Everyone worries about what others think about them and sometimes it holds you back. So I admire that quality in all people.

Yeah at this point it seems that she is ignoring the problems going on, but eventually she does face them head on. I'll say no more on that.

Things got very serious in this episode with 3 seriously wounded MC's and who know's how many of the CROWDS' also being affected. In the face of this, Hajime's lightheartedness sometimes feels a bit out of place. She's still a quite special character though.

I really want to see the last Gatchaman transform thought. The "don't stretch your wings" line has me very curious about his appearance.

I have to be honest. Berg-Katze is a bit scary. And violent. But it's a bit respectful.
It's scary because of the eyes. It's violent because of the blood and pain it causes. But it did talk to Hajime, which was a cool scene.

Other scenes:
Cute scene where Hajime and Utsu-tsu were doing origami.
Funny scene when Pai-pai was a badass in one moment, then the next he runs away.

Good thing Rui, Joe, and Sugane didn't die.
I have no idea how they can stop Berg-Katze. Maybe with the power of OD.
I’m always searching for something, for someone. This feeling has possessed me I think, from that day… That day when the stars came falling.

This episode was super-intense, it was awesome, Jou-san did I'm not really disappointed, since there's no much he can do. Hope he lives it through tho.

This anime is becoming hard to watch... Finally we see some great action and the story line is nice. Joe and Sugane are great in this episode. We see a glimpse of their backstory and Joe really is great in the fight scene. And then silly Hajime ruins it.

At first I was a fan of Hajime, but her care free /everyone needs to be friends attitude is wearing thin. Two of her teammates are dying when she arrives on the scene and all she can do is jump around and giggle at the alien who tried to kill Joe?! It's just too ridicules. If she is so concerned about humanity, maybe show some compassion for her teammates before trying to shake hands with a killer alien...

That was pretty action-packed, and pretty gruesome too. Starting with the knife at the beginning, we get the CROWDS being annihilated (I hope they're alright :p), Rui getting whipped hard and Jou getting his NOTE ripped out. I really love how unfazed Hajime always is, but always says how she feels without it seeming melodramatic. Also, Pai-Pai was awesome, including the running away. Perfectly fitted his (her?) character.

I never get tired of hearing that tbh.

It actually kind of worries me. In the last episode, she said it right after she healed those people, meaning that she might be saying that because her life force is running out. There're still a lot of twists coming. Especially with Rui becoming more and more of an autocrat... that's gonna backfire one way or another.

there are still words/terms I can't understand.

The sunrise scene was beautiful.

@around 2:00 i think, man, Rui can walk those legs
Mamoru Miyano.... whaaaaat *0* he's so good

OD's reaction there when he wanted to fight sent me shivers
Pai as usual is tiring to listen to. ugh But its transformation is really cooool. Then it ran away... ugh
That's one serious Jou-Katze scene XD
JOU SAN!!!!!!!!!! :O noooooooooo
Hajime-Katze conversation was amazing and fun to hear. Thank goodness for Hajime, I hate those long winding, full of riddles conversation between Hero and the Enemy

When Katze asked, when a planet has the prettiest shine, my initial reaction was when it explodes....... ._.

What's wrong with Hajime not being all fired up and going "you fucker, you'll pay for this, Bird Go!!" serious and all?? What's wrong with her talking like it's nothing??
She's the only one who did that, who talked to a crazy character calmly when everyone else is shitting their pants?
I think that was good because there were 4 or 100 people kind of dying there already (Utsutsu and her powers and the 100 crowds I don't know how their consciousness getting destroyed will affect though) so being CALM when it's CHAOS is the way to go right??!!!
People think better when their calm right?

That's what she would have been able to do anyway, she can't heal the others and asking her friends questions while they're about to die is out of the question, so why not talk to Katze instead?

Good thing Jou didn't die, I was getting worried. Paipai was cool until he ran away. You call yourself a leader!? I really want to see Utstsu transform. We didn't get to see it yet. Good episode.

dam berg is freaking brutal and entertaining. I wonder if joe can still transform after having his book ripped from him. I also really want to see O.D power since they are hyping it alot. I liked that hajima kept herself cool and collective and even interacted with berg instead of the usal yelling and fighting.

Berg is terrifying! But I loved her conversation with Hajime, it was very entertaining!

Also, wow, I didnt expect Paipai to transform too. He was so awesome and his Gatchman form is incredibly cool! Too bad he is a coward :P

Anyways, I want to see Utsutsu and O.D transforming already :(

Boy... Berg is such a troll saying Gatchman's moves exactly as they do, it's really hard to dislike him (even though he tortured Rui [that guy is growing on me])

Hajime's 'ask questions first attack later' is a refreshing change of pace.

Joe should be dead... but I wont be surprised if he survives. Utsu's resurrection... heck, resurrection in general is an overpowered ability.

I love the directing in this. There's more layers to Hajime than on a superficial level. She seems to really be observant for an extrovert, so I'm guessing something bad must have happened to her; otherwise she wouldn't be talkative AND have the trained eyes of an introvert. Also, the ending scene where she's talking to Berg Katze when he was invisible, she actually pinpointed his location by voice. He fled because he was surprised/scared that she was able to find him so quickly.

Dang! That's what I call an exciting mid-series climax! Great action, but even greater dialogues and character moments. I think I am falling in love with this anime. Rui getting beaten up was unexpectedly brutal. The series didn't hold back on that before either, but this is the first time I think it was shown so vividly...

Hajime shook her own hand lol. That optimism.

Pai Pai is a failure as a leader haha (who even appointed him? he himself?). OD is the real one (and he's the most mysterious in terms of his powers as of yet)

I like how the train was used for Rui's introspection

Joe-san got owned by being called an office clerk xD

Also these folks in fox masks must look really strange in public
