| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- While Itsuki has ruined he changes with Saori, Iketani meets a suspicious girl. So the question is, did she gave him her number because of the street racer thing or because she liked him? As about the idiot with the Civic. I certainly won't cry over him. And wtf was he looking at his car so sad when a minute ago didn't mind crushing as long as he takes the other guy with him? Freaking hypocrite. |

| Disappointing. That guy literally tried to kill Iketani and his friends and what does he do ? Offer him a pass to the hospital... Seeing a seinen tag, I expected at least some deaths or real injuries. I mean that's far from being a safe sport. And if one guy deserved such a thing it was this bastard. Really unsatisfying end to this match. And Iketani got played, this "romance" doesn't bode well. |

| makes me flipping mad that the eg6 guy never got any reprimand for what he did. they offered to take him to the hospital and they comforted him?! THE FK! he tried to bump all of you, not caring what happened and the only reason his car was messed up was because of his own messed up decision to "tie" the game by sending them both downhill! good episode though, i really really wanted takumi to win and i thought that he would lose but that last minute swerve to the left was perfect. he dodged him so well. a little irked that itsuki said that he didn't need a girlfriend anyways, like was that all you saw from saori? that she was girlfriend material? he didn't think that she needed an apology or a visit the most? liked the song that played in mako's scene, "see you my best love". like the new ending song too, though it's missing the bang from the first ending song. one of the best things about watching 90's anime is the music itself, big fan of that. |
| Now that's what I call cheap development. That Shingo guy almost made Iketani crash, then he proceeded to make Itsuki crash, even though he realized he was with a passenger, and sent him to the hospital, he could've killed him. And as if this wasn't enough, he continued with his underhanded schemes and almost made Takumi crash during the race, and when he realized he was going to lose he decided that it would be better to crash together than to lose. He. Is. The. Worst. It was so satisfying to see him crashing by himself, but it was so little that he wasn't even as hurt as Itsuki, and to make things worse, Iketani acted like a fool, treating him with courtesy, and offering help, just like he never did anything. Call it good sportsmanship if you want, but this only works when both sides are decent, and this was insufferable. He could do what a decent human being would, and tell his friends at the finish line that he crashed, and needed help. He was fine to the point of waiting for it, but Iketani had to play the fool and act like a stupid, I mean, like a "good guy" with someone that could've killed him and his friends. Were we supposed to feel sorry for him or something? With those tears, and stuff, what a joke. I hope we don't have to see this Shingo again so soon. But at least there was a nice meeting at the end, it would be wild if that lady was a street racer herself, and a good one too. Also Itsuki is annoying, and the new ED is nice. |

That guy just got hit really hard on his pride, there's no better punishment than that. Sure the guy was cocky and could have caused some casualties, but that doesn't mean he deserves to die or something like that. Iketani did the right thing there. |

| Shingo lost "duct tape deathmatch" because of falling into his own trap. ;D Takumi showed that his skills are simply majestic. ;-) Itsuki seems to have lost a girl he liked. On the other hand, Iketani met a girl and fell for her immediately. I wonder if she gave him her phone number because she liked or because she saw "Akina Speed Racers" logo on his car. I hope both, lol. Maybe she another professional racer that wants to have a duel with AE86? |

| Considering Takumi's facial expressions, I am mildly surprised Shingo got off that easily. Then again, Takumi's moral victory was even more overwhelming than his actual one. Not once did he succumb to Shingo's tactics. That was some reckless racing by Takumi. Creative use of guardrails, though. |

It seems Takumi wasn't aware of his "driver" personality, perhaps it was what Nakazato had said, his 'Innate driving sense' had taken over and controlling his car. |
