| Very touching episode. Laughing at Gildarts, Natsus and Happy's reactions, tearful moments when they were finally re-united, started laughing again when I saw Natsu and Happy crying with funny faces. lol Good episode. |

I can say this is really rare for me, especially in a shounen anime. (By the way, I didn't actually feel that much emotion towards Urtear, but rather towards Meldy.) The balance between humour and drama was great, like always and that Gildarts + Cana scene was well done too. |

| nice little aftermath episode ..... before we have to deal with Zeref and Acnologia. which appears to be big ass dragon. the Gildarts/Cana stuff was a nice but a bit cheesy, I guess they want you to believe he got with all those other women after Cana's mother. I don't think forgiving Ultear would be that easy. great to have Laxus back, the Lisanna stuff was funny. are they letting him back in or what? |

| Really touching episode, finally able to say it after so many years must have felt relieving! It was really a beautiful touching scene! Same with the two girls on the boat, both were so great! And lol Lisanna x Laxus was pretty funny. The ending sure was impressive, would that actually be a dragon? Well it does seem this arc is flowing directly into another so lets see what's next! |

| Wow the feels in this episode, i was in tears at Gildarts and Kana's reunion omg. When Meredy saved Ultear i was getting all teary eyed again. Loved this episode. Also Mirajane scolded master at the beginning that hilarious lol. |

| This episode... This fucking episode. Episodes like this are why I always come back to Fairy Tail with admiration and cheerfulness despite all the cheese, asspulls, repetition, and disappointing developments. Where do I even begin? Ultear and Meldy. Wow. I can't quite say how, but Ultear's explanation for her actions, her attempt to pay penance with her life (wish there was a greater delay before finding out it was an unsuccessful attempt, but that's nitpicking), and the entire moment with Meldy -- that skyrocketed my opinion of Ultear and shot her up my Fairy Tail favorite characters list. Outstanding. Gildarts and Cana. First, I can't believe Gildarts genuinely didn't know Cana was his daughter. I figured he was hiding it from her and lowkey watching over her without her noticing or some shit like that, but I like this development better. Although the initial comedy almost ruined the scene, it developed into something immensely moving. I almost cried for the second time in the episode. And although I didn't like the initial comedic approach to the situation, Gildarts' reaction where he counted off names of all the woman who were potential candidates for Cana's mother proceeded by Cana's disgust with her whore of a dad... omg, that was one of the funniest moments in the show to date. Although I consider Fairy Tail fairly solid in terms of comedy, some of it is just cheesy and lame. But that was both witty and hilarious. And Zeref, oh man. I expected to be disappointed with Zeref's development, but it looks like he's slowly developing into one of those characters who's disgusted with how violent and cruel the world is and intends to end it in a very... aggressive fashion. Is it an overplayed idea? Yeah, hell yeah, but I love it every time, maybe because I can understand it. Finally, the way the episode ended with Lucy's ominous retrospective foreshadowing gave me chills. Utterly perfect way to end an essentially perfect episode that succeeded with deftness and alarcrity in evoking every feeling it attempted to evoke. 10/10 |

Zeref awakened without the keys. He was never asleep to begin with apparently. He didn't kill them; this is Fairy Tail.   Looks like Meldy didn't kill Ultear either. Ultear's reason for killing herself made sense but she's too cute to kill off. Meldy feels the same way. I liked the ending to her story more than her reason for giving up.   Lisanna and Laxus too cute.  Natsu gets one shot.  Necessary bath scene is necessary.  Cana finally confesses to I mean she reveals her lineage to Gildarts.  How many bitches does he have????  Free to use.  |
