Welcome,
thanks for visiting my profile!
Am I a filthy casual or elitist anime fan? I have not yet been to any anime convention or events. However, I have cover over 600+ anime series (not including movies/OVA). I guess I could look at it as badge of honor, but I would love to go to a convention someday.
When rating anime, I give the series 1-2 episodes a try, before deciding to drop it entirely. I've seen plenty of terrible anime and my average score is 7.
Other stuff I like to do on my spare time, is playing online TCG card games or fighting games like DBFZ and Street Fighter 5 with my friends/roommates. Don't have a social media, except for Youtube.
I'm also into MOBA games. Currently playing Heroes of the Storm
Currently playing Diablo 2: Resurrected. I was a fan of the original and this version basically a reskin of the classic game with 3D models, instead of 2D sprites.
What type of genre I enjoy watching? I grew up with shounen, magic, fantasy, comedy, Sci-Fi, Mecha, Action and finally Isekai. Maybe with a little bit of Seinen, Horror and drama sometimes.
How I got into anime?
I started getting into this hobby at a early age. The first shows I got into were DBZ and SailorMoon, which aired on Sunday mornings. I find myself gravitating towards anime, I found them more interesting than American cartoons, because they either lack consistency OR the story was targeted for children. As time goes by, most western stuff are either boring as fuck or has a agenda in them.

Hope your week's going well.
I'm doing alright, how about yourself? I never lost interest in it, but I didn't watch much for a few years. Haven't figured out what I wanna watch, so I've been reading manga lately. Have any recs? : P
Yes, I like it much better. Liko has been pretty good so far :D
Testarossa will get her full apperance in volume 11. The latest season covered up to Volume 6 iirc so there is still quite some stuff that will happen before we get to see animated Testament
Btw, hope you get to go to an anime convention one day, they're lots of fun :)
Things are truly terrible. But I still have anime :')
My current favourites are just a rotation, for the sake of FG threads, of course. :)
I personally didn't find much similarity between Vivy & Violet, but I'd definitely suggest that you watch Violet. It's my favourite drama/tearjerker series as of now & probably the only series of that archetype that has very consistently got me in the feels. It's one of those one of tgose series that I'd say know how to do "emotional manipulation" well in a subtle & vibrant manner instead of doing that in a heavy-handed manner. I recently re-watched the series & even in my re-watch, the series moved me to tears just like the first time I watched it. I'd recommended the series to anyone. It does have some great action scenes in the latter-scenes in its latter half, but that's not the main appeal of the series.
Well, I see Erza in your favorite's :D
