| Tsunehiro, who ended up staying at Takaaki's place, gets introduced to a part-time job through Takaaki's help. He starts working at a convenience store frequented by fishing enthusiasts, where fishing gear is sold in bulk. Soon after, Tsunehiro and the others are invited on a fishing trip. |

Like blank squares came up whenever she spoke. That was a pretty nice chill episode. MC got a job, went fishing some more, but ran away at the end when he ran into some of his old classmates, which hit surprisingly close to home for me. 4/5 for me. Also am I the only one who thinks Hana's hair looks weird? I swear it looks like her hair is just a sack lol it moves around kind of weirdly at times too |

| Autotune and Dubstep. The hell is that opening? Am I back in 2010? After having his apartment demolished, Sasaki moves in with the pink haired guy and gets a job at the fishing convenience store. Circumstances lead to Hana finding out that he's a filthy heretic who doesn't like fishing, causing her to drag him along with the group to fish in an amusement park's swimming pool. Unfortunately, along with his cancer, Sasaki's also got a terminal case of the EEEEHHHHHHs. Standout moments of the episode are Hana's kickass display against the big fish, and the closeups of her face. Scissor the anus indeed. |

| Wow, the OP is dubstep, quite energetic and unusual for a fishing-focused anime, but I liked it, along with the ED. Hiro may have a lot of bad luck, ending up with nothing and on the streets, but he was also lucky enough to meet people like Takaaki, Hana, and the others, who gave him a place to stay and a part-time job. Hiro was able to enjoy fishing more with Hana's help, but in the end, he ran into his old friends from college. This may perhaps bring back difficult memories from his past or make him feel guilty for wasting the money his parents send him for college. |

| That OP is horrendous lmao. But good follow up episode! Things couldn’t have been worse for Tsunehiro last week, but he’s got a place to stay, a new job and finally a group of friends who can hopefully bring him out of his shell and help him to live again. Hoping that the cancer diagnosis ends up being wrong or some miracle occurs because man him dying after getting close to them would break me I’ve only been fishing once with my brother, but it really is such a serene and calming thing to do. Enjoyed seeing the gang go thru the whole process of catching, cleaning and cooking the fish. It’s nothing more satisfying than eating something you caught and made with your own hands. And Hana is so freaking pretty I love her sm! |

| Hell yeah, fish! I don't even fish in real life, but watching these fishing animes really makes me excited for some dumb reason. Another wonderful episode this week, we're going strong! I do wonder how this story will deal with Sasakis condition, i can't see them just straight up letting him die in the end and then that's it. But no matter how it ends i hope his last years are filled with tons of awesome fish, poor guy has had it horrible Wouldn't turning a public pool into a fishing pond create a ton of problem, it's not like you can just throw a couple fish into chlorine water and then casually pick them out afterwards. The cleaning process between changing the water type and the way this would affect infrastructure like pumps would be quite significant, this can't be a real thing that pools do, right?... |

| Better episode in terms of visuals compared to episode 1, though the CG fish and water effects are still obnoxious, specially compared to the really good 2D animation. I'm not to sure I like the high pitch voice Ai Farouz does for Hana, kinda makes me think she's voicing a preteen rather than a teen character. Takaaki is probably the most likeable guy so far being the most supportive while not digging too much on boring MC's story. I dig Ice and that other goofy looking old man though, their goofy designs do make a nice balance with the rest of the more normal designs. I still like a heck more the whole mansplaning about fishing in Houkago Teibou Nisshi, that show was amazing comedy wise and character writing along with the comfy vibes. Shame it was overlooked due to the production schedule due to covid. |

| After not paying atention to the notice it seems like Saski became homeless and with his pride refused to be taken in by the fishing gang. Well, that didn't last long as Takaaki took him in and was able to get him a job at their market so that he could sustain himself for a while. Him trying to fail the interview declared his "hate" for fishing with little conviction but enough to get Hana to take him to fish in the pool the next day. After a mini lesson about baits, layers and how to properly fish the big shots it was time for dinner with his hilarious reactions to the grotesche scenery, closing in on the fact that maybe he doesn't hate fishing, which made Hana very happy. This was quite the good episode as not only had the right balance between information and drama but the music tracks chosen keep being on point and the characters are very lively. I was not that big of a fan of the opening mainly because the autotune is way too notorious and to that effect detriments the good animation. The ending on the other hand is something I can dig and will get used to as the episodes come by. Now we'll see how Sasaki deals with his colleagues and his internal struggles. |

| Looks like many folks are not so into the OP, I wasn’t grabbed by it myself but I did like it, I really liked Van de Shop’s OP for “Campfire Cooking in Another World” and I’m happy to hear them again, ED tho was very nice, very chill song, visuals are a bit simple but the view of the city as the night falls is pretty. And looks like Tsunehiro is hanging with the fishing gang now after he failed to notice his home was being demolished, funny how he tried to fail the interview on purpose but became overqualified in the process lol. Hana wasn’t taking that fishing slander sitting down tho, so pool fishing we go. And the pool fishing was very nice, loved Kozue’s explanation on how it works as well as Hana’s tips when Tsunehiro couldn’t quite get a catch, I’ve never seen fishing with one of those bamboo poles either so this is new for me, definitely made it more interesting. And Hana’s fight with that salmon was thrilling, Tsunehiro even had to get in there with the net, and Hana eventually got her big catch, awesome moment, although she did get a bit too hyped lol, we gotta keep things chill in fishing anime. And then came the part I’m not fond of myself, being gutting the fish, but it’s necessary to eat your catch and that reward makes it worth it, now I’m really craving some fish lol. But the end of the episode things got bad again for Tsunehiro when classmates of his showed up, I wonder why he felt the need to take off there, I’m sure we’ll get the answer next episode. Also, is that blue haired chick named Ice, like Ice from “Hocus Pocus”? Lol, nice. |

| Van de Shop's autotune-cum-dubstep OP is just plain horrendous. 96Neko's ED is going the minimalist approach, I see. Tsunehiro's house may be torn down with enough notice, but his items are still put off the wayside to Takaaki's humour, so what to do next? The only thing to do is to get him hired to the fishing store Everymart that Takaaki, Hana and the rest are acquainted with fishing, and their boss wants someone...who doesn't like fishing so that he/she can cover their shifts. To borrow Tsuneshiro for a day to fish at the pool with other fishing regulars like Kozue Nishimori and Ice, and Hana wants to settle the feud with the sea bass Hiro got the first time he's at it. The Nerima salmon's up for grabs with a bamboo rod at the pool, and with enough guidance from both Kozue and Hana, Hiro got his fish alright, and Hana is presented a challenge to bait in hers, which is huge. Too bad it's by the number, and both Hiro and Hana tied once again. The former's anxiety follows with gutting the fish, and even with the effort, having to coincidentally meet former friends from school, it's irking Hiro bad. Hiro is just an anxiety monster at this point... |
