| I really want to say "Finally"! It felt so strange seeing Makoto doing all this stuff in boy mode without addressing that conflict, but for now, Saki bonding with her mom is melting my heart, so I’ll take it. That said, since this is a romcom, it’s school trip time! It was mostly wholesome, which is a nice change of pace after everything that’s happened in the past few episodes. One of the better romcoms this season, not ready to say goodbye next week yet :( |

| The girls looked amazing in kimono and the class trip was so sweet. Hayase is a fun new character, I hate they waited so late into the season to introduce her tho! Like that whole backstory with she and Makoto and Makoto getting ASSAULTED by a loser who couldn’t take no for an answer.. that got really dark really quickly. I would’ve liked to have seen more about Makoto and Ryuji breakup, unless I miss something it didn’t really get touched on other than Makoto wanting to call and hangout with Ryuji. With how the show is currently running Aoi and her mother vs Makoto and their mother it seems like by the finale things could shift to Aoi being in the lead which sucks tbh as a Ryuji shipper. Of course things went horrible when Makoto tried to talk to the mom.. she clearly got some deep rooted trauma about crossdressers from her past and I reckon it has to do with her father. Maybe he’s the same as Makoto and that brought back some PTSD? I just hate how horribly she treats her own child Only one more episode.. really gonna be sad to see this end. | More than the class trip between the guys, it's Makoto who has to do all of the hard work reconciling with his divisive mother. Makoto being called to assist in Saotome's potential lover partner, Hayase going straight for said crossdresser himself...I guess it shouldn't be this surprising to see that he's still quite popular in his girly uniform. The realization, however, that Hayase is just too shy and innocent, and being in different classes just didn't help her smooth things out to resolve their past feud to become friends again. It's quite the reconciliation mission, though Ryuji and the others really need not worry too much about Hayase. The girls in their kimonos are nice, but goddamn, Makoto is just as beautifully enticing being like a girl. The start of their friendship the year before, just right when Makoto's crossdressing act become quite the fiasco, Hayase may have lamented her ownself not being strong enough to defend her friend, but this moment's absolutely for her and the embarassed Saotome. Aoi's been doing well with her mother, so there's that. But Saotome having to choke up his confession speech, thankfully it still worked out good since Hayase is willing to commit to him. Between mother and son, it's still not the appropriate time, but his father coming in clutch to request his son to seek his wife's father, what exactly is the origin story of Makoto's mother and what caused her to be this way? All grievances shall be settled for the finale next week... |

| Nice to see it all worked out in the end for Makoto, Hayase & Saotome. I think I now understand the mother a bit more, she had a flashback about a male with his fingernails painted, I think that might of been her Father and that he was a crossdresser which is why she is so petrified of Makoto liking girly things. |

| Aoi mother act too nice, she is super sus. I'm actually scared something bad might happen to her. Kyoto school trip!! They have a lot of fun together, reconnect friendship back with Hayase was really sweet and glad things worked out for Hayase and Saotome. Oh boy, don't tell me Mom father was actually cross dressing like Makoto as well? That's my prediction, let's see if i was right or not next week. |

Well actually, it was not that bad, I was expecting an outburst from the mom, but she just almost croaked... I wished the very happy vibes of the class trip lasted throughout the whole episode, though that was a good cliffhanger. Makoto's grandfather is most likely similar to him, but definitely curious why his mom is so traumatized by it. Hayase is very cute, glad she became friends again with Makoto. Can't blame her for feeling peer pressure, but I guess everything worked out in the end and I am happy that the people at school are now accepting of Makoto, despite everything, it's very wholesome. I'm not even gonna talk about that backstory, sheesh. I am kind of worried though with that trip Saki is gonna take with her mom, I hope I'm just tripping. |

| Okay, this was supposed to be a funny episode or even filler. Hayase was one of Makoto's friends was that felt through when she did not wanted to stand up for him. This is a wonderful reconciliation. I hate the drama involving Makoto's mother. It felt forced in that they could have ignored her, but hey, you just need this forced drama just to end it. I'm a little pissed that the manaka did not plan this to be long because stuff in the earlier episodes could have been used for a more natural build up of drama. But I can't really fault him. He did not expect this to become popular. |

| I've read the manga and I'm really glad they are somehow fitting everything in these 12 episodes. Can't wait for the ending to see if everything finishes the same as the manga. I'm gonna miss this one for sure 🥲 |

| Been wondering about the blue hair girl and glad we got to see her. Liked watching Hayase san and glad things worked out for her and she's back in good terms with Makoto. The flashy guy seemed nice too so things should be fine on that regard as well. The mom freaked out again and yep knew someone she knew might be crossdressing which gave her trauma and seems like it's her father. |

| Disliked this episode. No big bad reason, just several small annoyances, and nothing really good to make up for it. Introduce new characters in the second last episode? Give us flashbacks to retrofit the narrative for their presence? Make the episode's main plot about those new characters, their relationship between themselves? Degrade the actual main characters to silly bystanders? Lots of parent involvement again? (in a show about teenagers) Expecting us to even slightly care about those new characters, this late in the game, even though zero establishment occurred? I don't know, all of that reeks of an addiction to bad decision-making. Why should anime be immune to criticism? Especially when there's such disregard for the integrity of the narrative, such disregard for the time invested by the audience. Nonsense. Disrespectful nonsense. Oh, and I finally had enough of Aoi's dumbass mother. Who even cares about the deadbeat slut. This show really wants to sell us a lot, but I just don't care about buying it anymore. It's mediocre and lukewarm feel good episodic nonsense without ever making any real statements. I hate it. |
