| What a fantastic conclusion to the MarthaxHenderson story with a profound anti-war message. Seeing Henderson's wife threw me into hysterics much like Becky. And of course, this was all accompanied by some fantastic art, paneling and spreads. Easily one of the best arcs thus far. |

| backstory finally over. probably the best stretch of the entire manga and for it to revolve around these two was a surprise but a welcome one. henry marrying is sad but also realistic and it's wholesome how his wife wasn't jealous but helped martha too. It's nice to see that even if their romance never bloomed that they're still close friends after so long. peak |

| What a bittersweet and painful arc! This is why I love Spy x Family so much (more than the comedy sections of the series). Martha and Henry are still good friends, they still see each other from time to time in their old age. But, it's still painful to know when Martha saw Henry married to Lucia! 🥺😣😩 |

Also it's clear that Martha and Henry will be parallel to Loid and Yor relationship where they will have to decide to say their true feelings before it will be too late. kxlel02 said: how his wife wasn't jealous but helped martha too. My twin sister pointed out to me that Henry's wife, Lucia, probably died 15 years ago since Henry thanks Martha for bringing flowers every year when they're at the cemetery. 💐
Also, this makes me wonder if Henry and Lucia had a family together and if so, are their grandchild/grandkids a student in Eden Academy? 🤔
I'm guessing Martha never ever married since Henry was her first and only true love! 💔🥺

| @PockyPlusle in one of the previous chapters Henry was writing to his son if I am not mistaken. So he probably does have grandkids. |

| What started as a mere side-story ended up being one of the best things we've seen in this series yet. I'm not sure if they've mentioned it before or is it something I forgot, but yeah, guess Martha didn't marry anyone in the end. Glad to know they still see each other frequently. |

| Ah, so while he thought she was dead, he got married to a well established woman mamed Lucia... damn. Their reunion was beautiful until she stopped herself to confess when the wife suddenly appeared. So, afterwards, even though it took years to accept the pain of not being with Henry, the one she loves, she had her dream of becoming a ballet dancer, thanks to his wife's family. And this all reverts back to Becky from Martha telling her this whole story of her past. Mentioning how she went back to war afterwards as well. Except she doesn't reveal who it is, but Becky did suspect that it's Henry. Later, Martha and Henry meet. Again. In a grave yard... I wonder if it's Lucia's, his wife. Probably not. Otherwise why aren't they together if Lucia died years ago. Who knows. It felt almost kinda too long at times, but this was a pretty nice very good backstory of Becky's butler, Martha, and her unfulfilled love with Henry. I'm eager for the main story to continue after, but I'm also excited for Handler, Sylvia Sherwood's dark past one day. |
| I suppose this concludes the current arc. Poor Martha... can't imagine the pain finding the man you love is with someone else now. At least that woman was a good person too. |
| One month...ONLY FOR ONE MONTH. Fuck :'( The flashback was pretty good. How Henry and Martha get to know each other was cute, but then because of the war...DAMN WAR! Well, at least they have a really good friendship. Great arc. |

| What a backstory...Martha and Henry's story easily S+ in this manga. Looks like the author actually can write deep and a little bit dark if he really tries. (I like also comedy but that part of the manga start to being repetitive.) Henry's marriage was sad for Martha but that's what we call life. There was no way to Henry learn that Martha was actually alive. Not all stories have to end in a happily ever after and that's make more sense in this way, so i like them being stay as friends. Media needs more relationships like Martha and Henry's. |

Becky's face was totally mine. 😭 Ahh, my heart!! Such a lovely arc with a well needed anti-war message. Can't wait for the next chapter back to the family tho! Waku waku! 🥰
| @kawaii_gaara same heree. We're all Becky ╥﹏╥ Failed love really squeezes my heart, it's as unfair as war. It left me with a similar taste to Lloyd's childhood arc, here is added a possible romantic bond that's later built into a different but stronger love imo and I think Henry staying with the wife was expected, plus that little we saw of her was as someone kind within her privileges. Martha's resilience is incredible. Must protect Martha |

| page 3 : - i guess this old lady is martha 's mother : ... mar-chan , where are you going ? ... page 4 : - old sensei : ... marriott-kun ... , henderson-sensei ... - martha : ... fowler-sensei ... , watashi ... , ojou-sama ... - henderson : ... ojou-san ... , watashi ... last pages : the mangaka didnt make it clear , he only implied that henderson 's wife died young , 15 years ago , because henderson beated her up everyday ? lol . or maybe the truth is : * 15 years ago , during the school 's annual dance party , the wife saw henderson and martha danced together . * then 1 or 2 days later , henderson and/or martha murdered the wife , lol . * 15 years later , henderson and martha danced together in another annual dance party . this event was depicted in a previous chapter . * then 1 or 2 days later , martha told her story to blackbell girl . then martha and henderson visit the wife 's grave , in the annual anniversary of her death-day , in this chapter 102 . and after the wife was dead , i guess henderson and martha have made love together everyday , lol . - ... you being a terrible ****er ... - ... i thought myself much "improved" since ... , ... you are still "cheeky" / **** as you were back then ... , would you care to join me for some **** ? ... - ... that sounds "nice" , if the **** is not too **** , i will have a **** ... |
