Hilarious North By North West reference with the plane shooting at Hasshi. LOVED the Die Hard 2 explosion: "Oh shit!" Indiana Jones + Matrix = LOL. Split-second Akira reference with the cult lady sliding down the building! Oh God, so many laughs in this episode, haha. |

| I really liked the show at the beginning. it reminded me a lot of FLCL, but my faith in it started to dwindle near the end. This episode brought me back up though. At the end I was just thinking, that was the greatest episode ever! It was hilarious! And it had so many references to great movies. |

OMG when Mune-Mune and her crew were all naked and shooting like crazy all over Air Force One... when "fuck" was said every few seconds... the nipple mobile... | Arumi beating Sasshi up fingerstyle (like in kung-fu movies) was probably something she's been looking forward to this whole time xD That Terminator reference x) "why are we naked again" - again?... There's too much hilarious material here to comment on (and a lot of references that were amusing despite me not "getting" them; not a movie nerd) xD Switching between a serious Masa-jii flashback and THAT...what pacing x) Another episode with amazing in-betweens (and random cats in them, as well as characters from Akira and Honneamise; I wonder who voiced them btw, or did they use prerecorded voices from the movies?), storyboards by Imaishi and Anno voicing Nebula 71 from Spectreman and giving Sasshi an order to transform! Finally I've witnessed him as a "seiyuu" for the 3rd time. P.S. Great preview for this ep. breaking the 4th wall again. There was even a "director's" voice. Or was it? |

| That episode was just jam packed with references, probably the most I've ever seen from a single episode. I dunno though, this anime comes across is a little too try hard in it's comedic execution. |

this episode was bat shit crazy and reference overload. Yeah, and that's why it's one of the most unforgettable. Indiana Jones music was pretty much identical. It was easy to understand even back then that the end was near at this point. |
