Multiple cases about suicides....this just got a bit darker, not to mention the suspense added to the how and why.

Interesting to see a familiar face back...Rikka in this case. She hasn't changed much from the previous season but one thing is that she admits to being afraid of Kotoko. The analysis was kinda light compared to the previous episodes/arc but Kotoko's mind still shows a lot of insight. I believe she kissed Kuro there and seems their relationship is rather decent this season.

Great to see Rikka again, she's as lovely and gorgeous as ever. Kotoko's explanation was good as usual even if it might not have been true. Did Kotoko and Kuro kiss? Wow. Already missing Yuki onna, need more of her.

Very nice seeing Rikka again. After all the chaos she caused last season I liked seeing what she's been up to. Moving around from place to place trying to avoid Kotoko fits the bill. Kotoko and Kuro looking for Rikka since she tends to use her pre cognitive abilities to bend things to her will. As we saw with the horse betting, Rikka used her powers to pick the winning horse and knew to bet on the multiplier to get an even bigger payout. That's the kind of things you shouldn't really use those abilities for since it can negatively impact other things outside your control. Kotoko even says they need to stop Rikka for the benefit of society since her using her abilities unmitigated could be disastrous. Rikka did seem to get along with her brief neighbors, their conversation was funny since Rikka just tried to bad mouth Kotoko the whole time. The little lady may be crude but she's not as bad as Rikka put it. Kotoko did give the apartment manager some solace by providing that plausible explanation for why the numerous suicides occurred. I like that even if Kotoko doesn't know the actual truth she still gives an answer that the person, or yokai in those circumstances, that makes sense to them and they would be comforted by. Its a nice gesture instead of leaving worried. Her and Kuro really need to find Rikka before she tries anything bad again.

LETS GOOOO best girl rikka back finally. Missed her.

Damn even truck kun couldn’t take her out.

That Gyoza must have been good af. She was tearing it up lol.

So kotoko made that whole explanation up? Lmao. Still nice to see a case that doesn’t end up being supernatural for once.

Landlord and his gf had one hell of a week between the crotch wine drinking references, rikka failed isekai incident and solving the suicide cases.

Aw man how they gonna cut it right before the kiss?? Smh.

I miss Yuuki-Onna:(

Rikka returned and she is already on the run for someone lmao, i guess they both don't get along well. Room 305, where multiple suicides happened but Rikka wasn't scared to stay in there, but she left anyway because Kotoko came looking for her.

Kotoko being the smart woman she is obviously explained the situation in the room to those two, and they believed every word of it. The fireworks were beautiful as well as the romantic scene between Kuro & Kotoko, their relationship really shows improvement.

Cool to see Rikka come back and she's still as mysterious as ever. Between the experience with her, then the experience with Kuro and Iwanaga after she left, I'm sure that manager and his girlfriend have had more than their fair share of dealing with the supernatural lol.

Damn they cut away right before we could see our main pair kiss, but it's nice to see that there really is some love between them despite how they typically interact.

Nice to see Rikka again. She is the kind of antagonist I like, with a lot more going for her instead of being just "evil".
Kuro saying that Kotoko is hairy was an unexpected jab, but wakame sake convo totally caught me off guard. I love those two.

It's appropriate that Kotoko quotes rakugo punchlines because she is such an adept storyteller herself. That girl can bullshit with the best at the drop of a hat.

Truck-kun: I've come to send you to a different world!

Rikka: Daga kotowaru.

I thought the landlord and his gf would be scummy but they're really nice.

Rikka: 1 - Truck-kun: 0

Better luck next time, Truck-kun! XD

That joke aside, Rikka does make her return in this second season and she's already on the run, staying at the cheap apartment room for a short while before having to leave. It was nice to see her getting along with the manager of the complex and his girlfriend, though. =)

After that, Kuro and Kotoko made their arrival and although she had little time to prepare, Kotoko still gave a rather solid story of the suicide case with the apartment room that convinced the pair with ease. One thing that did make me chuckle was how Kotoko was flirting with Kuro in front of the pair with chosen words that would make one do a double take.

It was a shame that the camera moved upwards, denying us seeing Kotoko kissing Kuro, but this was still a good episode overall.

She's immune to being isekai'd by Truck-kun. I'm happy the story has returned to the main plot with Rikka but a bit of a boring episode.

Liked how Japan's very own satan is hopeless against Rikka. She's just built different.

Not sure if there's a new case coming or they'll continue with the cat mouse race next episode too, but though I'm fine with either of them.

Rikka is back, and the confrontation between the two bickers like Season 1 wasn't that long ago.

Rikka may be Truck-kun'ed, but she's actually fine being an immortal, and the case of a stigmatized property where the people moving into this specific apartment ends up committing suicide in one form or anothe, and Rikka is the apartment's latest victim, though she's the exception. Each and every tenant seemingly interconnected to one another, though the apartment itself is of definite liability, this all smells like coincidence. But Rikka's objective trying to break Kotoko from Kuro, the obsession continues where it left off.

Rikka leaving the apartment abruptly, owing to the fact that Kotoko and Kuro will visit this exact apartment later on. The property manager Kazuyuki with his girlfriend Oki Marumi entertains them normally, with Kotoko having the perfect logical explanation to the suicide cases from before, and though consecutive it was, there was a certain stigma around it, at least for the 3rd tenant who wanted to end his life more than any other being affected by his circumstances and wanting to pin the blame on some entity.

In the end, rationality beats out the supernatural to remove all abnormalities within the apartment. And the chase to stop Rikka...will continue another time.

When did caring about Kotoko turn into an actual relationship? I thought it was all pity and mermaid boy can't leave her to be hurt. Either I wasn't paying attention last season or there are some light novels I need to read to explain what's going on.

Maybe because I'm no fan of alcohol, but the drinking from the crotch comment was really weird to me. Not creepy or crude, just weird. Also alcohol doesn't make anything down there taste good, a fact I found out the hard way. What a strange way for the author to portray Kotoko.

I guess Rikka has a healthy appetite now cuz she doesn't look like a bag of bones anymore. I wonder what her next kooky plan is gonna be?

the main duo were in a date playing with mini fireworks, thinking about the cousin

in a flashback 2 months ago, Rikka got hit by truck-kun (lol people's faces), but was just fine, even the blood disappeared, good of her to save the kid
room 305, a problematic room where people just suicide for no reason
the house duo noticed that she is on the run and probably not staying for long

oh, Rikka's horse ticket got the win, and quite a lot of money ... i forgot what her ability is tbh, is it related to remake the future, like Kuro? did she use her ability for the horse race?

playing detective about the suicides, it's time for Rikka to shine?
the 1st one had troubles at work, so it's normal ... the 2nd one, a woman who had an heartbreak from leaving the boyfriend, so it's also normal...
the 3rd one tho, the boyfriend of the 2nd woman, which for some reason went to the same room, and even tho he had a new girlfriend and good job, he also suicided ... unless he was feeling guilty for her death, then this one makes no sense

she ended up telling them about her story with Kotoko and Kuro, interesting, i wouldn't expect someone to talk about something as twisted as "i tired to break them up, my cousin belongs to me" to normal people lols

and she is going to move right away, seems like Kotoko learned about her ... i like how she told told the guy to listen to Kotoko about the room, so she can resolve it

well, there they are ... (so Rikka power is predicting the future)
the new couple saying that Kotoko looks like a doll, different from what Rikka talked ... but as soon as Kotoko opened her mouth to talk with Kuro... they made a funny face... yep main duo is strange

yep, according to Kotoko, the 1st 2 are obvious suicides... and the 3rd one was feeling guilty for the girlfriend's death, so he tried to see if the room was haunted ... since it wasn't, then the girl's death was 100% his fault, and with the guilt, and rumours about him, he just lost his will

well, that might be a lie, she just told them a random story, that's easy to accept, and the truth is, no youkai was there

there's fireworks, Kotoko was wondering what Rikka told the couple about Kotoko lol
there's also Kotoko telling Kuro about her fears, just the same he told Rikka, no fears at all lol then again, everyone has a secret or 2 ... and there's also a kiss, cute

Noo Rikka is back >:(

I'm sad we're most likely not going to see Yuki and Masayuki again :( Now they've been replaced by Rikka's story (╥_╥). Rikka being lowkey possessive of Kurou and wanting to be with him is so weird. I really hope they catch her and stop her because I don't think she should be roaming free in society either D:

It's good to see Rikka is more healthy now, she was so malnourishedly skinny in S1 that she was hard to look at.

Seeing Rikka interact with the landlord and his GF, and badmouthing Kotoko is started to make me question how bad Rikka actually is. I mean at worse Rikka made a website for the purpose of creating an imaginary monster, the Steel Lady, and used her powers to help guide it happen. So what? The worse the Steel Lady did was kill that detective, but that doesn't seem to be something Rikka wanted to happen specifically. I don't recall Rikka wanting it to kill people, just she wanted to die by it. I think the worse we could say is Rikka's actions were reckless, but those using the website giving power to the Steel Lady to exist are also unknowingly culpable as well. It's like somebody starting false rumors just to see how big it could get, others help cultivate the rumors making things worse, and some random person suffers in the end because of such rumor, but the original false rumor starter never had that intention when they started. Reckless and negligent, yes. Evil? I'm not sure.

I'm starting to actually dislike Kotoko, ever since she was excessively cruel to Masayuki and Yuki-onna by her fake story of Masayuki being the murderer and only using Yuki-onna. I understand she says she did that to benefit both of them, but I'm actually not really buying that. As the series goes on Kotoko is shown to be more and more the liar, and the motives of her lies she says is for benevolent reasons, but often she simply doesn't actually know the true reason of why and how something went down, but presents a fake story just to explain not knowing. On the surface that seems like a kindness of giving closure to something, but in reality it could cause things to go awry worse. It's like sweeping problems under a rug, where the rug represents the lies Kotoko convinces people of; should the problem get out from under that rug, things are made much more worse by sweeping it under that rug in the first place. Somebody might have done things not knowing what truly lies under the rug which could lead to a bigger fall than if they knew, then the analogy would be more akin to putting a rug over a pitfall and innocent people walking over that rug unknowingly thinking it's safe. I'm starting to think Kotoko just makes up reasons to self-justify her lying to be benevolent and beneficial, just like how she makes up lies to explain things she doesn't actually know the answers to.

Kurou sure is popular with the ladies, including Rikka. But it seems like Kotoko is trying to stake her claim now, so to speak.
