No dumb tribulations-of-a-rock-star epic here--the dedication to long-departed crazy Syd Barrett gives it an emotional resolve that mitigates what little self-pity lyricist Roger Waters allows himself. Even more remarkable, the music is not only simple and attractive, with the synthesizer used mostly for texture and the guitar breaks for comment, but it actually achieves some of the symphonic dignity (and cross-referencing) that The Dark Side of the Moon simulated so ponderously. And the cover/liner art is worthy of all the stoned raps it has no doubt already inspired. A-
I have a soft spot for Russian literature. For example, The Man in A Case, or Человек в футляре.

Hello, thanks so much for the Christmas present of 3-gatsu no Lion! It's absolutely true that I haven't been able to start watching it for a couple of years because I'm not interested in the shogi theme.... but thanks to your message, written very nicely and convincingly, I decided to try to watch it. I admit that the first episode made me uncertain about what I should think about it, but nevertheless your recommendation and the very high ratings of the second season as well convinced me that it was worth starting to watch it. I've been very busy with work and various events in my private life for over a month now, so it's been hard for me to watch anime at all, so I decided to "portion" myself one episode at a time from time to time and.... glad I did! From probably the fourth episode onwards it actually started to get interesting, when I was already starting to understand more or less how things might play out later on. Although I've only really started watching it, thank you for a great gift! I wish you a happy new year, much success and good anime to watch!
i want to know what the inspiration to the artist was behind that "dangers in my heart poem", it's friggin hilarious looool
Black moles, bloodiness, overgrowth with excessive fat and the disappearance of bare feet!
Where did your bare feet go?
Where is the girl I used to know?
How could you lose those happy toes?
Oh Akebi, no!
What took that look away?
I remember how you used to say you‘d never change but that‘s not true.
Oh Akebi, you break my heart, I‘d only want to go and cry.
It‘s so sad to watch that sweet thing die.
Oh Akebi, why?
Could I ever see in you again the things that made me love you so much then?
Could we ever bring them back once they have gone?
Oh Akebi, no!
