| I don't see what the demons are hoping for in the long run? They can't really be thinking about hiding forever, right? Their fight vs Idaten is predetermined. So, what comes next? Unless they manage to create a idaten-level "boss" demon, they should all just accept their fate and get wiped out in the last episode and be rid of the misery. I had high hopes for the show but it's turning into gibberish honestly, and I don't see where the plot is going? We already know that the demon-seal is garbage (and demons inside are already dead - high possibility), the surviving demons can only engage in pedo/incest relationships to produce demons who will likely only end up making lives of ordinary humans a bit more miserable until Idaten find and dispose of them with ease. Instead of being a threat, demons are more like pests or - annoyance. Idaten vs demons can end next episode, or the cat/mouse chase can drag on for f-ing X seasons, and if that's what in store for the future of this show, I'll be very disappointed. Give us a threat, a challenge, or end the suffering. |

I don't know why people arguing think their opinions are going to change anything, Japan is going to keep being Japan and I'm going to keep enjoying this anime regardless of what anyone here says. |

| This was a wild episode, I’m actually pretty sad they just offed Meliano and Buzz like that, just chomps Meliano’s head off and Buzz is ripped apart, super fucked up, especially when they just wanted help for their kid. But, we know by now both the demons and the Idaten are morally grey as hell, so it makes sense, but it still upsets me. The rest of the episode was interesting as well, through the complicated ways to communicate with each other while in hiding, to a 7 year time jump where the demon girls are fucking their own kids like they said they would and Miku guns someone down in the street. Shit like this is why I still love this show lmao. So this ends next week, it doesn’t seem like we’re reaching an ending point, but I’m excited anyway |

From my understanding, the humanoid demons are still very much demons. They're just more like mixed breeds and not the pure or purebred demons. They descend from forced interbreeding between the original demons and actual humans. They create more of themselves (reproduction limited to this elite ruler class) by having gestation with mixed demon and human embryos via the midwife Umeyo who also has the borrowed humanoid body and appearance. That's why they have human form or mostly human form and human-like intelligence, dexterity, and related capabilities (while still usually retaining the demonic strength) as opposed to the purer demons who are more similar to beasts or non-human animals. So I'd say they're more like demons stuffed into human bodies than the other way around. But I think the actual genetic breakdown by percentage would actually put them at 50% of each? |

| Damn Cory really showed no remose there, I feel kinda sorry for Buzz and his girl. Miku not only having an incredible sense ability but also a genius brain definitely makes her a fearsome foe. Especially her procreating with the demon kids shows how messed up she is and that she'll do anything for the demons to win. |
