Oh boy, business sure picked up fast. We got rugby gameplay on the field and it's rough. But at the same time, I see the characters are willing to learn and adapt.

Surprisingly realistic episode. I want to see how far these characters will go this season.

The animation of rugby action scene is not bad at all, in fact all players are able to maintain their good-looking physical appearance.

And I thought 25 characters listed in official website are all the member of this team, if there can be match within the team then there must be at least 7 unnamed characters. This is a very big club!

Oh, I also surprised by the fact that there is no shirtless scene (yet), the opening credit lead me to think that there will be a lot! LOL.

They finally played Rugby. Looks like some players still haven't forgiven Ibuki. I really like Natsusa. A Great protagonist like him deserves a better show than this barely 6/10 one imo.

Natsusa is the worst, haha. And I mean that in a good way! His personality is really interesting for a protagonist of a sports anime.

I've had trouble keeping all the players straight, but seeing the group of all the third years set apart for their own scene was helpful. That Li person at the end is a Chinese student, I guess?

The rugby part confused me. I guess we are required to know how rugby works before we watch this? Not that I care. I only watch anime for the characters and the stories, and so far I am liking them both.

So many characters, so many names to remember!

I love that this anime has created a character that's manipulative, which is usually considered a negative trait, but he's so frickin' likable... Natsu-senpai, teach me your ways!

Quite surprised by this epsiode tbh. Really liking the characters now and the actual rugby scene was decent (was expecting it to be a bit shit but it isn't!)

Ethan still the best

Dayum, Natsusa knows how to weave his way through the complications of the huge rugby team, showing off his calibre of being manager. Of what should be a easily hateable character, it was a nice change, definitely liking him more!

Having Ibuki back in the rugby club of many people was a triumphant win, but a hard one because of his long absence and getting used to it will take sometime, but the team eventually accepts his return (well most...).

The rugby action isn't that bad, I'd say a leap over Try Knights. Decent animation though that doesn't puke.

This episode just goes to show that the rugby sport is a back-burner while the characters take over story plot and progression.

Ok ngl.....I'm actually kinda enjoying this one. Natsusa is an amazing protagonist so far and him and senpai were pretty funny together (lol at all the casual roasts). Don't know how long that'll last though. Kengo Kawanishi doing a fantastic job as always.

And the actual rugby match at first I thought it was just gonna be powerpoint slides the whole time but the animation towards the end wasn't too bad

Natsusa saying good things about Ibuki then ending it off with "I'll definitely bully him later" made me lol. I really like his character, surprising difference from the usual sports MC but I'm enjoying it

There are way too many characters. I understand rugby needs so many players but apart from the main trios and a couple of players I barely can tell anyone apart.

Wow actual rules applied here like the Knock on and they feature the conversion kick after they score tries. I am glad that at least they know the rules.

I'm actually really enjoying this show so far. Looks like there's always that one dude in the group who hates the guy who was popular back in the day lol

A bunch of disjointed thoughts:

I love Natsusa's blunt, teasing attitude. It's not something you usually see in a sports anime main character. Kind of similar to Maki from Stars Align but more upbeat and playful.

Is it just me or is this show overwhelmingly bright? The colors are just so vibrant, especially on the bright green field. I have my TV brightness on low and it's still like wow. Not a complaint but yeah.

Animation meh. Lots of panning stills with speeds lines gliding across the screen but the parts that were in motion were passable.

At this pace it seems like the story is going to focus mostly on relationships between and backstories of the characters rather than the sport aspect of it, also something like Stars Align.

Weird question: is Natsusa speaking femininely? I don't know Japanese but he ends a lot of what he says with "nee?" and idk it feels like a lot of anime girls do that.

I love Natsusa's character. He's a great protagonist for a tumultuous and turbulent show like this with polarising characters and intense conflict.

That's what death is, don't you think?

Once again Natsusa's personality never fails to make me laugh. I really like the whole team dynamic. There were so many shippable moments with different shippable pairings. Truly a fanservice anime. This anime has become my top fave of this season c:

I shall come back to you again

Good episode, glad we finally got to see some rugby play in it, even though I understood nothing what was going on. Hopefully they'll properly explain how the sport works in the future. I'm just... still not used to seeing so many so buff characters all the time, as I like to watch a lot of anime that centers mainly teens and not university aged characters.

Ibuku is really good at Rugby! even if he's not that big or strong or fast, what makes-up for is lacke of physical build was because of his genius mad skills at rugby and is area awareness is top class!
5/5.

...What? This anime is actually good. I'm shocked. I really expected this to be a manservice show without much substance but it's good. I really like Natsusa. A lot of the members are also very interesting. It's such a shame this anime is only 12 episodes.

The rugby plays were fun to watch. :)

Ibuki is a rugby god. Wow.

Amazing episode and I loved the formal apology before the third years just like threw it all away and embraced their hot player.

Also Ibuki x so many ships for me.

The animation of practice game is fine, but rugby sports seems boring for me.. it's all about force lol I will just watch it for the cute boys.

So, they finally played rugby. That Taisei guy still isn't ready to welcome Ibuki back, though.

Natsusa is funny as hell and he's clever too, he knows how to get things done!
I wonder what's with that new roomate, that other guy doesn't seem to care much for Natsusa at all lol. Was also interesting watching the fight :o

Nice show so far, thumbs up!

First match we see in this series

Looks like Natsusa's harsh plan worked out in favor for Ibuki

I'm just as excited as some of those third year players to see some seppuku and hara-kiri

We got to see Ibuki play rugby for the first time which I enjoyed, and I like how everything isn't so instantaneous when it comes to chemistry on the team. I like how they are keeping things realistic because not everyone that you play with is going to like you and I like how everyone has a realistic talent level. I am really enjoying Natsusa and Yuu's friendship and I am excited to see more of them.
