my list of longa$$ anime basket investments ⬇
10- masterpiece, pure art
9- great near perfect, but tainted a minor unsatisfactory plot moment; memorable
8- very good wonderful characters, concrete storyline
7- good plot crumbled but pretty entertaining; unique factor check
6- fine bare bone plot and characters, but no bling factor (mostly ova/specials & slice of life)
5- average a pain to finish; lost interest (may have dropped)
4- bad cringy; not my cup of tea (may have dropped)
3- very bad interesting concept, horribly executed
2-horrible terrible concept but w/ a saving grace (i.e. visuals, sound etc)
1- appalling terrible concept and horribly executed
note: entries ratings are judged largely by plot + entertainment.
if the entry was very entertaining, rating is positively biased & vice versa.
series that i dropped after 1 episode or chapter are NOT listed
current seasonal airing animes get an automatic 10 placeholder rating
until i finish it and give the anime my actual rating afterwards ✧*・゚(◕ᴗ◕✿)
also, if your average rating is ~4, bruh what are u even doing here lul ツ
if 3 szn/50 epi or more, then it gets added to my anime basket portfolio (๑♡3♡๑)
it really is so much fun! sorry for the late response btw ~~ i love being os busy in a show because my favorite thing about theater is being on the stage entertaining the audience. its the most i've ever been in a show so its certainly tiring, but i love every second of it! :3
i'm an actor! i'm a lot of different small roles in the show, as well as the dance captain, so even tho i'm not a lead i'm basically always on stage lol. thank you so much!
hey sorry for such a late response, i've been pretty busy! the spongebob costume isn't that bad, its just a yellow button down with brown graph lines (so it looks kinda like spongebob) and brown shorts. all the characters have pretty realistic costumes, the worst is squidward who has to wear pants that have legs attached to the back of them. if you google spongebob on broadway, we basically have the same costumes!
yeah, they are .-. but it's all worth it in the end! the show has it's own plot which is bikini bottom is going to be destroyed by a humongous volcano of doom and there's no hope :p it's really unique and eccentric but pretty fun
we're putting on spongebob squarepants the musical, which sounds absolutely ridiculous, but the music and plot of the show are really great! our cast is perfect for the roles so its coming along really well. we open in like 3 weeks so >.<
we've been in school half time, half the students since february, and it hasn't been terrible. no school breaking shutdowns yet! it definitely isn't a good idea, but our school had a vaccination clinic right before april vacation (we get a week off in february and april, for context) so a lot of the eligible students did get vaccinated, which is good!
and yes, theater is very hard online! it's extremely difficult to learn choreography/dance moves on a small screen, and even harder to learn music and what notes to sing. we've been able to have our entire rehearsal process for the spring show in person, socially distanced or outside, so we've stayed safe for the past monthish. :)
lol thank you! im on a week long vacation atm so im fixing my sleep schedule :p we recently went back to full time school, 4 days a week, which kinda sux :/ our governor mandated that all schools return to a fulltime schedule which just isnt realistic with the pandemic ... but whatever i guess
same! ive always been interested and appreciative of graphics and editing and photoshop, but ive never had the opportunity to get into it. now im a theater kid and a junior in highschool which takes up ALL of my time ;-; im also terribly indecisive so my worry is that id get a lovely graphic and then want it changed in a week :p
yes getting the sizing right is so difficult! im also terribly bad with bbcode so i cant get the text to look all fancy. im trying to rack up forum posts to request graphics from one of the clubs im in, so im putting off any further customization for the time being :p
