| Hmm, i was about to get annoyed with the use of pedophile as a translation for lolicon, but in this context it would be more of a grey area, and could just as much be the folly of the japanese wording as well. By the actual definition of a genuine pedophile (not the ignorant public interpretation of a child-destroying monster), this translation is correct. It is good to see a proper pedophile/lolicon depicted in a sense that can be educational. While it can bother people gross them out, or cause knee-jerk reactions, it's important to know the difference between someone who abuses children, and an eccentric who loves and admires them. So yes, it is very nice to see that Mari Okada (mangaka) understands. (The man's philosophy was kind of interesting too.) In other news, nice cute & happy developments. |

| Loved this episode, especially the ending sequence. My eyes teared up a little bit haha. Purely because of the idea of that naive, fresh and young first love ^w^ However, a love triangle, the starting threads of which I sense here, I cannot handle. Not in this show and not like that :c |
| Wow Saegusa is... individualistic (okay in a creepy way, I'll just say) Wonder Sugawara and Izumi are falling for each other. Momo finding Sugimoto somewhat of a turn off was on-point. Relationship development between Amagi and Sonezaki was nice, but a bit cheesy when he started jumping and she had to react. |
| Saegusa and his pedo vibes lmao. He reminds me of this one ballet teacher in my high school who got caught in a scandal. I'm not sure whether to consider Sugawara and Izumi's thoughts on each other as a potential romantic development or sign of incompatibility. Makes it all the more interesting. Sugimoto seems to be a haughty, insensitive jerk so far. Don't think he'd be a good match for Sudou unless he has some sort of hidden depth. That euphoric ending gives me a wide grin. Really glad for Sonezaki! Just noticed the monologues in the opening change each time, plus Sonezaki has her updated appearance now. |

| Damn, what an awesome episode, especially because last scene! Kazusa is anxious about Izumi and Saegusa, because they thing the same about each other, and she didn't answer what they were doing together! Amagi and Sonezaki scene was just to beautiful, i really loved that, Amagi couldn't wait to see her answer and she didn't want him to see it in front of her, but the scene was really well executed, i was so happy after seeing her answer! This show is being better each episode! |

| I love how this anime is going in dangerous directions. Sugawara's pedophile being an example. What other show would dare portray a pedophile like that, refusing to pursue a relationship with a girl who actually wants it because what he loves most is her innocence? It's still problematic, but in an extremely interesting way. One misstep here, and this show could offend tons of people. I commend the bravery of the author! |

| I pray that we don't fall into a sad plot turn out because this episode has certainly embedded some fear into me. That was a creepy half of an episode, the pedophilia part was scary, thank Hod he was sane enough to have never laid a finger on her, hopeful he snaps out of it. At this point, I'm all for the progression between Sonezaki and Amagi, I could even settle for an Anime that starts only both of them. |
| Izumi is so cuuuuute. wtf Nino's past, that's creepy lmao. I'm glad that Sonezaki and Amagi are a couple. The chemistry both her and Amagi share is so sweet and pure. This was a great episode. I enjoyed every second of it. |

| This never ceased to amazed me, another wonderful episode. one of things that i recognized to be outstanding for each episodes is every main character development on climbing toward their adulthood (relationship, puberty, loves, sex, etc...) I felt Sudou it quite seems toward "woman" maybe ? ... looking on her viewpoint on "man". That Sugawara's past is quite sketchy and somehting... i presume..., still she blabbering to Izumi about Kazusa's feeling tho... Finally the first ship to be sailed AmagixSonezaki that last scene was beautiful with beautiful bgm soundtrack. haha i can't wait for IzumixKazusa to sail. |

| What I get from this episode is Niina doing nothing wrong. Since the begining it's Izumi is the one who wanted to talk with Niina, and then accidentally Kazusa saw they in the train, and then it's like a consecutive "accidental", whether it's that words from the book, or the coincindental Niina and Izumi having similar words. If this gonna be a triangle love, I think it is normal, because Kazusa itself never have been said her feelings, although Niina has implied that to Izumi at the cafe. |
| So Sonezaki's love worked out, I don't think Sudo's love will work out with how the guy doesn't understand her Steve jobs lookalike is a pedophile, kind of weird but Izumi's reaction really showed how I thought of it I really hope milo-sensei doesn't go to far onto the route he is taking now, otherwise the fbi will go after him |

| A better episode than the fist 4 for me. I kinda wanted for Kazusa to smack a book to Sugawara's face at the book reading and be like: bitch! What were you with my bf? The last part with Sonezaki and her bf was cool, what a reaction lol. |

| So Sugawara has feelings for an old ass man. Yeah, that's definitely not normal. That old dude is a fucking creep tho, laying his hands on her so easily. Felt really uncomfortable watching that. Putting that weird shit aside, I really like the SuguwaraxIzumi pair a lot more than the KazusaxIzumi pair. They're able to talk to each other without restraint. Kazusa is dimwitted on so many levels that she's not even to that point yet with Izumi yet. Looks like Sonezaki was the first one to get a boyfriend! That was a cute moment. |

An eccentric and unique tagged never gone into my mind when watching this show. Mixing some kind of bland love feeling into some wild lust like 'sextape' kind of show never be good. However, this show prove me wrong. The flow of the plot felt smooth. Even some of the pairing going into heart-warming condition, which is somehow was nice to seeing. No! Hongo gonna make some crazy moves to seduce the glasses teacher. What kind of slut you had in mind there to reach your writer dream, my little loli. I hate your dirty mind. But, kinda respected her shitty decision toward the miserable destiny she had. More misunderstanding into Kazusa, making this show feels good. Damn, boy, damn! |

| The old guy was such a pedophile that he didn’t molest children because he found them more desirable as virgins. That’s like… next level pedophilia. I thought they were all gonna have romances, but then they had Momoko’s be kinda skeevy. I found that interesting, actually. Really slice of life, coming of age. It’s not all gonna go well in all relationships. Sometimes someone you think you might end up liking will end up surprising you in a bad way. There are all different types of relationships in your teens and in life, and they’re exploring that. Hongou is gonna get her teacher arrested I stg, but he’s being extremely inappropriate for helping her out like this. For her writing or not, she’s a minor and you’re an adult. Not to mention a teacher at her school. Hope that Sonezaki relationship goes well. The guy seems pretty sweet. She’s a bit awkward socially, and I know how that can sometimes have a hard time translating to others. As for Sugawara, Izumi, and Kazusa, I hope everything works out and that we don’t have an annoying love triangle to deal with. Hopefully it’s just in Kazusa’s head. I’m genuinely at a loss when it comes to guessing Izumi’s feelings about Kazusa. |

| Well. The moment you come out to your friends to talk about another person out of the blue... That's a fucking flag and Kazusa knows it. Both Sugiwara-san and Izumi do this in front of her, like showing their interest for each other. Sometimes saying someone else is weird it's like a defense mechanism to not declare anything conclusive. In this case both of them are just being considerate to Kazusa as Izumi and Sugiwara know her feelings before hand. It's obvious that she'll be devastated though. |

| Oh... so that's it. A 14-year-old girl asking "do you not want to do it with me?" to an oji-san is definitely abnormal and disturbing, even though I know it was all started by that disgusting lolicon. But now I'm starting to understand why I feel uneasy every time I see Niina. There's definitely something wrong with her. Hongou's relationship with Milo-sensei has entered a dangerous stage... that flashing panties scene really made me "wow" because it's a big step to take (requires a lot of courage), I can feel Hongou who wants to become an adult quickly and feel all the sexual feelings/desires so that she can write her novel to the fullest, but on the other hand she is still an innocent high school girl who only knows such things through books. This is really when desire, fear, and curiosity are mixed together... Uhhhh but at least! We got something sweet in the ending! Congratulations, Amagi and Sonezaki~ that was a very cute, sweet, special love letter and will be very memorable for both of them ♡♡ I also noticed the dialogue in the OP is different~ Edit: Now that I think about it, how can a Sensei give such advice to his own student... even though his intention was to help her but it's like... well, I know Hongou herself didn't refuse to do that either but still.... |

| I'm confused why people call Niina's mentor pedo. Guy is definitely weird and creepy, no doubt about that, but he is clearly not a pedo. I mean, Niina herself says he never touched her (despite her mom being careless/oblivious to possible dangers when leaving her with him) and he even denies her after she offers him to do the deed. Guy clearly has other priorities. He cares about the idol/idea/symbolisms rather than an individual. Again, it's weird but just because he may creep us out, doesn't mean we should just dismiss him as pedo. Maybe people read different subtitles or something (I watched it with Russian subs), but I don't think he said anything a predator would say for instance. |
