Dirty jokes and a cast of characters that are expected to reject dirty jokes but does them anyway! One series might take itself a lot more seriously than the other but in the end they're both alike.

Both are about a Student Council with all girls save one boy, whom they are often giving a hard time.
report Recommended by GuitarHero
B Gata is ALL about a Japanese school girl going against the anime stereotype that presents them as pure maidens. Yamada wants 100+ male conquests, and she's DETERMINED to use an inexperienced Mr. Nobody to lose her cherry with. Hilarity ensues when she turns out to be a clueless tsundere when it matters; resulting in much date-kiss-sex fail. Seitokai is similar in the sense it presents school girls as sex-crazed nymphos, with only one train of thought. However, where as B Gata's humour comes from sexual failings, Seitokai's humour is built around two girls turning EVERYTHING - no matter how innocent - the male lead says  read more

Both are filled with sexual jokes and a group of girls all attentive towards the male main protagonist. Although Boku no Kanojo is more focused on the romance aspect more so than Seitokai Yakuindomo. Be prepared for constant R-rated jokes as it's main focus for both shows.
report Recommended by Azukano
The concept behind both series involves a club at school where its members does fun activities on a daily basis. The main male protagonist gets himself dragged into the clubs' many activities. Both series' club/council members have contrasting personalities that often creates different moods depending on the given premise of the episode. There is a lot of humor in both series that takes place in the setting of a school life environment. Despite the majority of the cast members to be girls, there is little to no hints of romance. Rather, there is absurd dialogues and comedy.

In both of these awesome anime, the whole point is to have a good time. If you love laughing, you will love both of these. There are tons of jokes, and every episode of both anime made me laugh so many times. If you liked one, you will definitely like the other.
report Recommended by PTR2013
Same inappropriate humor. Both male characters were forced into the club. One male with many females around him.
report Recommended by CoffeeBean
They the opposite in maid-sama they 80% boys and the Seitokai Yakuindomo there almost girl and no boy . and both focus on student council .
report Recommended by Melisandre
Both animes have three girls and one guy as the main characters. Both animes don't have a storyline but contain dirty jokes.
report Recommended by Chuxie
Both are based on 4-koma manga. Same kind of humor just less perverted than SYD.
report Recommended by Nickbk201
Both are comedy harems with cliche set of plot and archetypes, character interactions usually leads to off-color humor. They're also both in skit while SYD uses is more focus on slapstick, MTATTA uses a variety of meta-humor and comedic analogies. The manzai roles are also reversed between the series.
report Recommended by Azraniel
You could say Joshi Kousei is what Seitokai Yakuindomo was before the school became gender co-ed. Both containing plenty of crude and sexual jokes/humor/etc.
report Recommended by Paul
Both are these animes are hilarious with great characters and both have the same kind of perverted humour in them. Both have a guy constantly being bossed around by a bossy girl.
report Recommended by OdysseusUlysses
Both focus mainly on being very funny (in which they both succeed) instead of having an outstanding amazing plot, but in both there still is a small plot. The jokes aren't especially similair (seitokai has a lot of sexual jokes but it isn't ecchi, nor incredibly immature and baka has all kind of jokes) but if you enjoy either you'll probably enjoy the other.
report Recommended by MaracaTu
Both use dirty and sexy humour.
report Recommended by komic
Both series have main characters who are perverted, cute, and comedic. They go out of their way to pull out funny stunts to make the viewer laugh. Although their basis is much different, both series do a good job at handing out perverted messages and scenes like its candy. Both series lie in the comedic and school genre.
report Recommended by G3usts
There is no real plot to either of them just a bunch of funny stories and jokes, Seitokai Yakuindomo though has dirty humor mostly both are great and similar good to watch.
report Recommended by Gondie212
Focused exclusively on the wacky Seitokai Yakuin (student council). And unlike stereotypical seitokai show that show you around the school and deal with student problems, both shows have wacky Seitokaichou (head of the council) that is a center of attention and do nothing like commoners. SYD offer the above package in a realistic girl high school that just recently turn mixed school. Added that many girls in the show are perverted like no others. Manabi Straight offer such package in a slight sci-fi setting, featuring hi-tech gadgets and cool environment of a not so distant future.
report Recommended by lapisdragon
Both series are about girls with sex on their mind.
report Recommended by LONG3r
Similarities: Both have the same comedy and school genre. Both involves a bunch of High-school students. Both have the same anime arrangements where an episode would be compose of a couple of Omakes. Dissimilarities: One is set in an all boy's school, while the other is set in an all girl's school turn coed. The comedy theme in one anime was more on the sexual innuendo while the comedy theme is based on slapstick's and a yaoi element. One anime has an extra harem and romance genre, while the other one has yaoi as it's extra genre.
report Recommended by Nasty001
Both anime are pure-fun comedies The characters in both anime are quite Delusional Both are anime based on high school students The types of jokes are different The only significant difference would be that Yakuindomo is about hilarious girls and Danshi Koukousei is about some really funny guys
report Recommended by thereisonlyone
Both are hilarious anime that feature dirty jokes and include really funny/interesting characters. Both are episodic with not much of a plot progression. Both series are also perfect for people who love "boke and tsukkomi" type comedy.
report Recommended by DankSgt
Both shows are centered around comedy, making up at least 95% of the content, a majority of which are bad sex jokes. Also the characters and their interactions are similar.
report Recommended by Sunekus
While the settings are very different, and Seitokai is almost exclusively comedy, both have: -absurd humor -character archetypes -LAUGHTER IS REQUIRED. You MUST laugh.
report Recommended by SheasonDuerulo
These two animes are comedies, and most of their jokes are quite perverted. Of the two, Katte ni Kaizou is bit darker than Setokai Yakuindomo. Both are about the everyday lives of a group of high school kids, who are not normal at all.
report Recommended by jose21
In both, the main character is forced into a school club and harem that they do not wish to be part of. Despite being different genders, both main characters are not really into the antics that the club members continuously crack up. Ouran has more character development and romance, while SYD is comedy focused. However, the hilarity that ensues in both series is more or less the same.
report Recommended by CoilConductor
Both female lead presidents drag the male MC into the student council and both presidents have high approval rates and suggestion boxes(more of a main theme in medeka box),Both also don't seem to follow a plot but in Medeka box it somewhat gains one near the end,and both are comedies.
report Recommended by Ozzey
One male character, surrounded by many girls who don't shy talk about ecchi things. The anime simply are about the girls act as "boke" and the male taking the "tsukkomi" role if you know what I mean. Comedy anime. ;)
report Recommended by Ddustz
both are school-based, and both have girls who are candid (and usually comical) about sex, but where Yuru Yuri is between girls, Seitokai Yakuindomo is boy and girl.
report Recommended by misfit27
Fast-paced comedy both adapted from 4-koma manga. They managed to fit a lot of gags from original into the anime and also have the enjoyable pace kept. Good work everyone, just please come up with some original joke once in a while, anime team. Those who have read original manga really have a hard time on your show.
report Recommended by lapisdragon
These two shows are comedies based on subjects that are considered taboo or inappropriate. Both shows act as sketch comedies as they primarily feature strong running gags. Neither show establishes a main plot. The shows feature a male main character, followed by extremely odd females. "Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei" discusses common situations as they can be seen from an eccentric outlook, while "Seitokai Yakuindomo" uses slapstick humor as punchlines in common situations. "Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei" is random in their themes, while "Seitokai Yakuindomo" predominantly makes sexual jokes.
report Recommended by Cased
they are both similar because they don't have a main storyline and it just random scene transitioning into another random scene during the series
report Recommended by marick251
With monitor at OFF and speaker at MAX, both shows are technically porn, 8 out of 20 minutes. Visually very very safe, these entertainment are audibly pornographic. They are very dangerous to watch where people can here but can't see you. For Koe de Oshigoto it is true anywhere in the world as moaning is global, but SYD is only true near Japanese literates. Anyway, using the same equipment set as when you watch porn is advised.
report Recommended by lapisdragon
While one is more focused on the comedic aspect and the other (Prison school) takes itself seriously on a few occasions, the main attraction of both series is explicitly stating sexual jokes and references that can be quite funny at times. Coupled with a good dose of fan-service, it should make for an entertaining watch.

Sex Sex Sex seitokai is infamous for its out of context shots of innuendo humor and midara has got something similar going sekotai is alot more relaxed tho were as midar is more rom comish both fun series

Both take place in High School and both Male protagonists are forced to join a club in which all other members are Females. However, these two are more than your typical High School Slice-of-Life Anime. YOSLCM's protagonist has a unique style of thinking, borne from his pessimism towards his peers. Conveniently, so do the females of Yakiun Domo- they are so perverted that bog standard objects can quickly become the stuff of jokes. In this case, it's hard to feel pessimistic- this show is absolutely sidesplitting! YOSLCM is far from inferior though- its serious social commentary complements Yakiun Domo, which aims to provide viewers with utterly random comedy.
report Recommended by FinnDevitt
How are these anime similar? Both anime have very similar comedy, both being incredibly raunchy. Seitokai focuses more on comedy having to deal with sex and the like, while Panty and Stocking cover a wider area with it's humor. Both don't really focus on the plot and are more about comedy than a story. I thought both anime were funny when I watched them and believe that most people would find them funny as well. How are they different? Panty and Stocking is focused more on a single subject longer than many of the scenes in Seitokai, meaning the Seitokai was a 4 panel manga so the jokes  read more

Both of these series take the concept of a well respected/revered student council at a private academy, and put their own hilarious twist on it, showing that what is on the outside isn't always what is actually going on.
report Recommended by danarwal14
Extreme focus on comedy and situations that always lead to jokes. Both barely have a connection between their own events, if at all. While strange takes randomness to a whole new level, Seitokai likes to keep itself together. Well, at least sometimes.
report Recommended by DolbyThX
Both shows have great perverted characters. While Sora no Otoshimono has an overarching plot, the jokes used are quite similar and uses the same way to convey it; putting humorous characters next to the 'straight' one(s).
report Recommended by rockon1999
The humor of the show is quite similar with the delusional perverted thinking of both Moyako Konoe and Shino Amakusa. Then our main male lead has to deal with the misunderstand.
report Recommended by Hibbington
Both are Highschool comedies with short chapters and a similar kind of random sense of humor. report
report Recommended by xShinigami3125
Both are about a guy surrounded by two or more females. Both are full of perverted females. While Hatsu Inu is about a girl who takes liking to vibrators, Seitokai Yakuindomo is full of dirty jokes including those about vibrators.
report Recommended by abystoma2
Both having shitpost-like sense of humor.

Both are short comedies with a similar random sense of humor.

While Teekyuu only has a few perverted jokes relative to the other jokes, Seitokai Yakuindomo has a whole bunch of them. If you liked that particular aspect of Teekyuu, Seitokai Yakuindomo is the comedy anime for you.

Funny characters that doesn't think normally. But there are still some characters that think normally but not all the time. hilarious plot, awesome for people who love a good comedy. XD hahahah!

Both involves normal guy getting involve with oddball girls. Both involves school organization. Both have comedy, romance and some sexual innuendo.
report Recommended by JiangHaoyi1979
They are quite diferent but main girl chars are similar visually and mentally. Seitokai yakuindomo is more "intelectual" and Keijo more "natural". Humor is even stronger in SYD.
report Recommended by Bubakbumbac
I found the humor in both anime a bit similar, and yet different. But both seem to remind me of each other, so i can't stop thinking there must be something between these two anime.
report Recommended by goyohgo
Both shows revolve around a pervy female student council president and a down-to-earth male who doesn't really like sexual humor, with a couple of equally interesting (or perverted) side characters.
report Recommended by daky-kun
Both same Genre : School,Comedy This anime is so funny, even to the anime itself be used as a comedy, whether they run out of material or something, which obviously is highly recommended for fans of comedy
report Recommended by Meowning-Puu
If you are looking for perverted humor these are the shows to go with. Other than that these shows are not that similar but considering Yuri Seijin Naoko-san is made of 2 OVAs (24 + 6 min) it's definitely worth watching if you are looking for this type of show.
report Recommended by opasnimiki
Seitokai Yakuindomo (SYD) is basically the Nichijou of sex jokes. Each contain short-ish clips that add together to make a bigger story. SYD has more of a plot, but still doesn't have that much conflict.
report Recommended by ja_jjkm
Funny plot. Both have characters that are definitely not thinking in a normal way no matter in whatever situation. A good comedy for people who wants to enjoy laughing. XD hahahahah!!
report Recommended by sow_yiyi
I don't know because what no one don't made this recomendation, but ok. At all, both have a "touch" of ecchi in the plot, but this touch is under control and is more said than did it... Both have too aged pervert teachers that are a such...
report Recommended by Montinihabato13
These anime are focused on the comedy and has nice jokes going on for them. They're focused on sex jokes for slightly '' mature '' audiences but still can be quite funny and worth watching. Also they have less apparent stories so they're mostly for calming down or to laugh!
report Recommended by GiantQAACSleier
in every episode. Seitokai Yakuindomo always present the same his trademark comedy (especially about 'ecchi'), same like Sakamoto desu ga??
report Recommended by Akmlddn_hd
Anime with the best comedy genre, telling about daily life at school with lots of comedy guaranteed to make you laugh in every episode. The difference is that Seitokai Yakuindomo is more towards perverted things.
report Recommended by Rian_Rahmat
Both have similar comedic elements to it, big difference being one is fantasy the other being school life. Another difference being that Seitokai Yakuindomo is more of a perverse comedy compared to Konosuba and the MC in konosuba shows his perverted side but the MC in Seitokai Yakuindomo never does. Both are about groups of friends messing around.
report Recommended by JammyJams
short jokes, funny... nuff said Caution* seitokai yakuindomo contains a large amount of sexual jokes seitokai yakuindomo requires about at least 700/9000 otaku power to understand all of the jokes. - (for beginner / newb otakus)
report Recommended by gimeyop
Perverted humor exposed wide open and without any care. Most of the characters in both are rather experienced in, uh, this sort of humor. Sexual humor is always present in both anime. Also, both anime run on whether or not you like that sort of humor.
report Recommended by MisaTange
Both series are perverted and have several girls in them talking about random stuff. They also both occur in a school setting. (This is based on watching only the first episode of Nee-san)

While Seitokai Yakuindomo contains more perverted humour, and A-Channel provides more cute characters. Both series are good slice of life based on 4-koma.
report Recommended by ashton
Kyon and Haruhi = Tsuda and Shino's relationship, also both give off the same feeling though The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya potrays more of a hidden message than Seitokai Yakuindomo.
report Recommended by Geekhavok94
Both shows feature a lot dirty jokes featuring perverted girls who are making the joke
report Recommended by Tenshiholic
Random, dirty humor. Ike! Ina-chuu is way more perverted, though
report Recommended by Gokudo-kun
Obvious similarities with the same type of four-frame comic book style story-telling and humor, though not so full with the perverted jokes.
report Recommended by Knil
Genuinely funny shows that made use of casual sexual euphemism and being less random than most Youtube viral style "so random it's funny" we see in anime more and more. Stuffs like waterskiing jesus polar bear in a bikini eating spaghetti with noses are not the kind of humor being used here. If you prefer randomness, there are better shows, and even the internet is here to your disposal. SYD, while not one of a kind, is much more original than most school anime that look similar. It is dialogue-based fun, without the over-reaction we see in other cheap funny anime. Well, those are funny too,  read more

Both are about the lewd antics of high school girls.
report Recommended by bigeaze
Both have tons of sexual innuendo.
report Recommended by Kite_
NSFW by contents but visually safe for all age groups. Both are comedy anime featuring students and teachers discussing the fact of life that you will prefer to keep it to yourself.
report Recommended by lapisdragon
Verbally abusive and virtually illogical dialog visualized in the cutest way possible (respectively). Japanese-style animated talk shows you are looking for.
report Recommended by lapisdragon
Hen Zemi get the merit of being similar to SYD because of its verbal vulgar. The visual of both shows is not so outrageous. Mainstream ecchi such as to love-ru has much more visually NSFW content.

similarities: a boy who start studying in all school girls booth of them is enjoyable dissimilarities: one of the anime is harem the other one is not harem but echi

Mio's voice actor (Yōko Hikasa) voices a character which visually looks similar and sounds identical! You'll get a real kick from imagining a perverted version of Mio in crazy situations. Also for back up Ritsu's voice actor (Satomi Satou) voices her best friend, though she doesnt really sound like Ritsu in this.
report Recommended by Kyriasa
Both this anime is seriously FUNNY!! Seto no Hanayome is more visual comedy with face expression etc. Seitokai Yakuindomo is lots of dirty jokes and they just keep on coming. I loved both and you should too
report Recommended by Xedroz07
Altough both have diferences (Tonari is Romantic Comedy and Seitokai is almost Pure Comedy), for mark a gag moment, both series uses the deformation of the characters to a more childish style.
report Recommended by daniyan
Although funny for their jokes too, a very crucial similarity between these two anime and also what makes them twice as funnier is both have reaction-based comedy (don't know if there is a word for this term) i.e. characters themselves criticize the jokes, statements made and the mannerisms of characters (comically). Plus both are episodic anime with continuing jokes. And ofcourse, they are a great choice if you're in the mood for something light and silly :D
report Recommended by River_Cloud
Cyclops Shoujo has the same type of irreverent sexual humor and lighthearted atmosphere, condensed into two minute shorts. Fans of one would almost certainly enjoy the other.
report Recommended by shigeru212
Both anime have student councils in them. They consist of answering questions from random students. The difference is that Love Lab focuses on love, while Seitokai focuses on dirty jokes.
report Recommended by YukiNatsu
Both titles will cause the viewer starts to laugh. Although in Seitokai there is no form of supernatural abilities, it rely on a similar scheme [1 boy + a few girls]. It should be noted that Seitokai is based on more erotic attitude and does not appeal to everyone. The perfect anime to improvement humor!

similar format. They're both plotless and the episode is split up into smaller stories or skits.
report Recommended by halfshadows
Similar gags and humor. Seitokai Yakuindomo has more ecchi, though.
report Recommended by Cureyurika
Slice of life, comedy, and school are the similarities they share. The characters share similar traits. There is one character in each anime that is part of the student council. Seitokai accelerate in comedy, so you will find it quite hilarious.
report Recommended by Lamii
Those are both comedy's that are about school and a special group in the school, that helps other people.

Both settings are mostly in a school environment with comedy but this anime is more of a perverted comedy

*It's slice of life, where the main character is a schoolgirl. *Perverted heroines: in YK it's the main heroine and her female friend, and in MS it is main heroine's older sister. *Many intimate slice of life aspects, appurtenant to sex and physiology (like menstruation) are revealed and discussed. You can see the similar kind of slice of life in Futari Ecchi anime, however, FE is more mature and realistic. *Dialogues are also very similar. There is exactly the same kind of "humour".

Series surrounding mainly female characters. Both contain humor - but Hyakko's humor is more toned down. Also, both anime are set in a high school environment.

Both anime gives comments in a very weird way. While watching Jinsei it reminded me of SYD. Both Tsuda Takatoshi (SYD) and Akamatsu Yuuki (Jinsei) has difficulties handling their normal life because of the girls in their school.
