Your taste in metalcore is solid. I like Underoath and August Burns Red too, and Parkway Drive has some great tracks. Haven’t listened to Aviana or Exanimate much, but I might check them out. Crystal Lake and Coldrain are definitely some of the best in the Japanese scene. Uverworld and My First Story are good picks too.

I also grew up with the 2000s emo scene. Fall Out Boy was a big one for me, and The Used had some solid songs. but I'm not too familiar with 30 seconds to mars.

Your music taste is really great! I can tell you're the type to use any free time or even set aside time just to discover new artists. I'm like that too!

I'm also really into metalcore and rock. I always tell myself I'm the type to listen to anything, but when I really think about it, I tend to gravitate toward songs with natural instrumentals. I also love emo rock bands like My Chemical Romance, Pierce the Veil, and Sleeping with Sirens. I remember trying to get into Korn, but I only really liked a few of their songs, like Freak on a Leash and Narcissistic Cannibal.

I also love whatever Tommy heavenly6/February6 has going on. She’s got this unique blend of Avril Lavigne-style rock and Japanese pop, and her music is really good. You can hear some of her songs in anime soundtracks, like Soul Eater and Paradise Kiss.

Besides that, I’m really into house music and 2000s R&B. I like K-pop too, but I’m more into the older 2000s stuff rather than the latest releases. A couple of my favorites are Irony by Wonder Girls and First Love by After School.

I also enjoy Visual Kei the classics like Buck-Tick, Plastic Tree, and Malice Mizer. And then there's Ado her voice is just insane! She’s incredibly talented, and I can’t wait for her new album to drop in about 40 days.

Yeah!, those are really great songs! I’ve always felt that anime with Visual Kei soundtracks or openings are destined to be good. This isn’t exactly Visual Kei, but for Soul Eater, Tommy Heavenly6 sang one of the openings, Black Pepper Moon, and I just knew that anime was going to slap. There's also Dress by BUCK-TICK for Trinity Blood, another solid pick!

I have heard the director from season 1 is not returning for second (he backed out for his own reasons). Somewhat concerned about how different the new season will be from first. Still happy that we have some news about it.
