the art style is the same and the whole new co-ed school thing. kaichou is better in SO many ways. In many ways yakuindomo rips off maid-sama.

Both series have very similar plot : About co ed school. In Seitokai Yakuindomo, an all girl school turn into an co ed school and Kaichou wa Maid-sama! is opposite.
However, Kaichou wa Maid-sama! is more focus on romance (Shoujo) than Seitokai Yakuindomo
Both Are female presidents in a School that has recently became co-ed and both are trying to integrate the newly intergrated sex and make them feel even,maid sama has a romantic story while the other is just a plotless comedy.
