Recommendations

They'r both delinquent comedies on their daily lives -lots of fighting -badass main character -funny as hell I'm amazed no one had recommended this anime, this is just great

Both of the series have a male protagonist with similar personality. Sakuragi Hanamichi and Mitsuhashi Takashi are a lot alike; they have idiotic smiles and laughs, Hanamichi used to be a delinquent while Mitsuhashi is still one, they both like to fight though they often use tricks to escape from the difficult situations and find the easier way from them. Both animes are full of humorous things; their genres are shounen and comedy, while in Slam Dunk sport (basketball) has a great role as well. Both series were aired in the '90s, that's why the design of the anime is unique, i find the way they  read more

Both are likeable, manly, rebellious and funny series of the school-comedy-slice of life genre, and both involve delinquents, students, gangs, fights, rivalry, friendship. The main characters in GTO are older than the ones in Kyou Kara Ore Wa, but the style and hilarity level are overall the same. Also, both anime are Studio Pierrot productions and have a rather similar character design.

Hot-blooded high-school deliquents that are quick to start a fight. Difference is that Kyou kara Ore wa is more of a comedy while Tokyo Revengers is more of a drama.

Very similar situations and character personality, must watch if you have seen one of them. You might feel the blond guy in Kyou Kara Ore Wa!! are cheating but after the first EP and half of the second EP you will change your mind.

90's OVA comedy gold. The OVA's are episodic in nature but an overarching plot does flow throughout the entirety of the two shows due to the protagonist(s) goals and their attempts to reach them. Both shows initially appear quite lighthearted but darker themes are touched upon, character development is present and the relationships between characters are decently established. Overall, Golden Boy and Kyou kara Ore wa!! are just a whole lot of fun to watch. They feature similar art styles, fewer -though lengthier- episodes (GB: 6, KKOW: 10), and conclude with more of an open ending. If you're looking for something new to watch  read more

The worst of the worst, the toughest of the toughest, both share the all badass outcasts reputation and ofc the rivaling schools fights, only in sakigake the diffrence is that classmates are training to be the baddest motherfuckers on the planet and its is more martialarts orientated than kyou kara ore wa!!

School ruffians that wanna have a larger piece of the schoolgang dominance, both have that violent and manly student persona manner, in the case of chameleon though it has a bit more funny moments for the main charachter, but has very bloody fights nevertheless and the sort of dark humor that only the japanese can do

- Both have comedy with high school setting - Both have tons of comedy situations where one will burst into laughter

Gintama and kyou kara ore wa are similar in that the mcs of both of these anime are mainly gag characters, but can come through when need be. I don't feel like going into to much detail, but I noticed similarities between these anime. The point is, if you like Gintama, you will probably like Kyou kara ore wa.

both animes are about delinquent youths who got into humorous and dramatic situations. both also involves fights, gangs, rivalry, romance, and friendship. although shounan bakusouzoku focuses more on motorcycle gangs and kyou kara ore wa is more of a traditional high school delinquent anime, the comedy in both animes are very similar. so if you enjoy watching one of them, i highly recommend you to watch the other one.

Representativeness of the life of bullies, their daily life, how they live and how they deal with society having this view that everyone has of them.

They're both classic delinquent anime from the 90s. They focus on one relatively serious and straight laced delinquent and one goofy delinquent who's willing to play dirty. Hareluya II Boy has a bit of a supernatural twist to it and Kyou kara Ore wa!! focuses more on comedy.

main characters have blond hair both hair and are dumb, and full of themsevles but get serious when a friend is in danger so only difference Naruto develops strength and Mitsu is already strong and a love hate bromance going on throughout the show

If you try to comparate the stories of those two series.. well, let me tell you that it's not possible. Mostly because Danshi it's basically an anime full of sort of auto-conclusive gags, while KKOW follows an usual linear plot. However, don't give up just yet, because they both have some important points that share: • both gave Shonen and Comedy genres. which leads us to the next -> • the major thing to mention is that both series are indeed very very very funny. The overall feeling that both series give you is very well cured by the authors of the anime. I've read somewhere once, that  read more

Both series are school comedies (with a fair share of drama) where the main character is a badass involved in high school gang fights, with similar kind of humour.

Despite the fact that Kyou Kara Ore Wa doesn't have any supernatural element and is shorter than Yu Yu, these testosterone-filled anime are really similar, as they both involve: - Rebellious delinquents as protagonists; - Plenty of action, fights, and martial arts; - A spiky character design; - Almost identical comedy styles and school life moments; - Very few female characters, always with supporting roles, who provide some romance, despite these anime's strong, manly attitude.

Both about high schoolers fighting. Both nostalgic from a time before Japan got rid of all its juvenile delinquents!

Both are great series that revolve around delinquents and comedy. Kyou Kara Ore Wa has more fights while Cromartie High School is completely focused on humor.

If you like anime about schools, delinquents, street fights then I guess you will like them both. But I would say Kyou Kara Ore Wa!! is a lot funnier because it has greater humor.
