They'r both delinquent comedies on their daily lives

-funny as hell
I'm amazed no one had recommended this anime, this is just great
High school setting, lots of delinquent fights and lots of comedy. I found the personalities of Oga and Mitsuhashi way too similar: Dumb yet funny, arrogant, strong, has hilarious evil faces, takes pleasure in tormenting others yet never turns his back on his friends in difficult times. Hence their ties of friendship strengthen as time goes on.
The differences: Beelzebub has supernatural elements and has a sweet father-son bonding. Both shows are perfect for a good laugh and once you finish watching them, I think you'll want to give a try for the mangas of both series. :)
If you enjoy delinquent anime with a strong mc than look no further than Kyou Kara Ore Wa!!, arguably one of the best in the genre. This anime lacks the supernatural aspect of Beelzebub but makes up for it with strong characters and a plot that makes you so invested to where you might even read the manga to finish it. Also each episode of Kyou Kara Ore Wa!! is usually 45mins to and hours, enjoy.
