Similar based on the theme "cooking", although not the same genre as isekai. Still can enjoy casual viewing.

Both shows include a great and original world revolving around a strange underground place made up of layers, each layer having its own ecosystem and different landscape. The main characters try to explore this place and its hidden mysteries and we are exposed to its history progressively and through the myths and legends around it. The adventure thrill you get from both shows is just very similar. The shows differ in that Cooking and food is a main theme in Dungeon Meshi while the main theme of Made in Abyss is Children suffering (and toilet humour). Dungeon Meshi is also more lighthearted than Made in  read more

Both share "hunting down monsters for food" part. However the food in Dungeon Meshi is just a normal food, while in Toriko it is "magical" one which causes human power to evolve.

Both are extraordinary cooking shows. "Unforgivable Dungeon Meshi - Satoru Noda

Both shows feature cooking walkthroughs (although Dungeon Meshi uses made up ingredients) and have people enjoying food.

- Fantasy and food are the main themes - Both show food really beautifully, Dungeon Meshi is more focused on ingredients found in the dungeon - Relaxing and funny

Both of these anime have very creative comedy using their fantasy setting, crisp production and really hit the mark for a DnD esque experience with their central cast of characters which have great chemistry

An oldie but a goodie~ Slayers is a show that follows a group of morally flexible adventurers as they embark on fun little quests, battle monsters, and save the world along the way. You've got everything here—mages, fighters, clerics, dragons, monsters, cursed fish people (who may or may not get eaten...), and more. The main protagonist, Lina, is really funny and is joy to follow. She also loves to eat—a lot. If she were a character in Dungeon Meshi, she’d fit in perfectly. The other characters are equally likable, and the party dynamic really gives off a similar vibe to Laios’ group. If you like old-school anime  read more

all characters are somewhat lovable, both stories are touching without being dumb. Cooking/food theme is not shared

These shows take on familiar fantasy settings and flip the concept (Dungeons and a Demon Lord respectively) on its head especially if we talk about the tonal shifts these two take on sometimes only to go back to the story as if nothing happened. Said quality also relates to the fact that these characters are about fending off and caring for themselves, showing signs of blue-and-orange morality in which sometimes the moral framework of characters is downright foreign to the human experience, such as the looming notion that eating monsters is taboo in Dungeon Meshi and some certain kinds of magic, the uncaring amounts of  read more

- Approaching Fantasy plot in their unique ways (adventure to go back home, Dungeon meshi about food) - Mind blowing World building - amazing animation and unique characters

A story about the criminal resurrection of a loved one. Creation of a chimera from a human and an animal. The main characters meet a group of heroes from the East who help them in the second half of the series. Fantasy with politics. Laws of magic.

Don't be fooled by the lack of an "Adventure" tag on Dungeon Meshi. It's every bit as adventurous and full of spirit as Nanatsu no Taizai. If you love exploration and world-building, following a group of friends and falling in love with their character and being left on read for the next season, you'll love both of these shows.

They have similar atmosphere. Dragons are problems in both series and the main cast consists of a man who is knowledgeable about monsters and other characters who specialize in other fields. The adventure is light-hearted and filled wifh humor.

In both series, a group of characters are traveling with no food, and have to resort to making food from the lifeforms around them. In Dungeon Meshi it's monsters from a dungeon, and in Astra Lost in Space it's whatever lifeforms inhabit the planets they travel through. Also, both series have a strong comedic approach. Though they also have some occasional darker moments, it's mostly lighthearted fun! So if you enjoyed one of them, you might also like the other one!

Both are dark fantasy anime. Simply, they both contain the use of magic or other supernatural forces that may lead to negative consequences. While Berserk has darker themes from the get-go, Delicious In Dungeon feels more lighthearted but progresses over time. Both also have themes of character transformation, but going into too much detail about how they relate in that way contains major spoilers.
