Both follow very fantasy themes, and go further in depth about the cooked meals, even if they aren't realistic. Both are very comedic, yet comforting in a way, as while main characters suffer minor conflict, they somehow come out of it better than before.

If you enjoyed Dungeon Meshi for the cooking aspect, you'll enjoy this! It's also similar in the way where they're in a fantasy-like world, so they have monsters to work with when preparing meals. As the first season goes on, the main party grows and they meet other parties along the way. This is very much a feel good show, the main focus is on the food but there's also interesting plot outside of it. It's a good show to watch while enjoying a meal!
