You should include Garo Guren no Tuski and its sequel Usuzumizakura Garo in your Heian era stack, as they're a toku take on the era with important figures like Raikou, Kintoki, Seimei and Douman.

Hello! Add "Karasu wa Aruji wo Erabanai" to your Heian stack, it's practically a show about the fantasy equivalent of Heian era Japan.

Hey I don't know if you've read https://myanimelist.net/manga/149/Blame but it's a psychological, post-apocalyptic, cyberpunk which you seem to be a big fan of, if you haven't it's definitely worth it.

Excellent review of I Want to Eat Your Pancreas. While I think I enjoyed that film a bit more than you (I gave it a 6), you outlined a lot of the issues I had with it.
