The way the relationship between the characters is built is very similar. The mood of the story is also very similar, from the drama to the lighter parts.

It has a similar plot of girl main characters discovering romance. While Otome-domo yo is more towards a younger audience, Kuzu no Honkai is a bit more mature, but still very similar. If you give Kuzu no Honkai a try, make sure you listen with headphones. That show has top tier ost.

Tsurezure Children is a story about new couples, focusing on the romance and a comedy. A really heartwarming show with realistic characters and romances. Araburu is focused on 5 females characters, all very different in their personalities but also all iinterested in the discovery of love and sex. Drama and romance are both present, and the realistic events will make you feel a lot. In all, these shows are similar with the multiples MC, romances and in the fact that these romances are all news but arrives somewhat early in the anime. They also both show realistic and logical romances and emotions.

Both shows feature girl(s), unexperienced in sex/romance, and who are very passionate to learn about them. Both shows contain a lot of sexual humor and puns
report Recommended by Short_Circut
Both shows examine teenage sexuality from POV of young girls groupe. The main difference is that Love Lab is an light comedy CGDCT show, while Araburu is more melodramatic and based on personal experience.
report Recommended by RobertBobert
A study of the first romantic and intimate experience from the point of view of a young girl, a gentle and unhurried narration, an attempt to make standard anime archetypes more realistic and lively. The main difference is that Agatte Kimi ni Naru is shoujo ai and refers to relationships in a more cold-realistic tone.

Both shows are about fucked up love and inner thoughts of the characters.

Both are about sex learning and adult jokes.

Both titles have very beautiful romance stories of multiple couples and no less beautiful theme songs by HoneyWorks (which is the source of Kokuhaku Jikkou Iinkai, by the way) and voice actors of heroines.

Araburu really reminds me Hatsukoi Limited. Both have got simillar graphic style, they are both "light" romance with some kind of adultery jokes, in both each heroine has got "her own lover". If you like comedies/romances and you like Araburu, you should also check Hatsukoi Limited.

The humour is very similar and both focus on girls and their relationships with each other and the world. The comedy and humour is quite similar as well.

Both shows are dedicated to the difficulties of youth social interaction and make a lot of social comments about it. In particular, both anime have LGBTQ arc and a major character who hides low self-esteem behind a feigned cynicism. If you are looking for a smart anime that is not afraid to talk about real teenage experiences and be socially relevant, then both titles can be one of the best choices for you. The key difference is that Araburu is dedicated to girls and the problems of the first romantic experience, while Hoshiai no Sora talks about boys and their self-affirmation in the adult world.

Similar vibe with not such a cliche girl types, interesting situations and dialogues and decent animation, both anime are recommended to watch if you are tired of average1 main love line

Some attributes both series have in common for instance is a student developing a crush on their teacher as well as blackmailing the teacher on occasions. Aside from this, the anime also discusses sexuality and coming of age.

both are school anime, which are drama and very interesting relations between the characters. First of all, in both the heroes really get to know themselves and learn to face their weaknesses. In both, the development and adolescence of the heroes is also very well presented. In both, it is said that honesty in relationships with others and with oneself is what counts, although it can hurt

Main character(s) are boy-crazy and constantly associate mundane words and objects with males.

-Both have a similar art style -Both anime have an opening made by honeyworks -Ao haru ride is more on the romance side and Otome-domo leans more toward the sexual side

Well the gener are different but both anime show how the girls are struggling to make there dream come true

both contain element of awkward first encounter with romance and sexuality araburu kisetsu is told from the teenager viewpoint

Both of these shows handle themes of puberty and overcoming the struggles of entering adulthood in very mature and unique ways.

Coming-of-age series about teenagers in different kinds of relationships, in where they slowly develop themselves. Both are quite sensitive in how love is portrayed as well, with depictions of stalking, grooming and abuse. Ah, and lesbians, also lesbians.

Both series are about girls in similar periods of their lives, in that difficult period of transition to adulthood. Both series use the main cast of girls to explore different perspectives on the feelings and complexities of girlhood and womanhood

IF you're like me, you love a diverse cast of cute and beautiful anime girls. Both have this! More seriously, they both are pretty light-hearted and have comedic moments, but this one just takes away all the heavy emotions from araburu.

Similar romantic problems of the teenage period of the life. Funny and embarassing situations on both.

Both the girls in Araburu Kisetsu no Otome-domo yo. and Mitsuki in Skip and Loafer have realistic, male-gazey free portrayals of what it is to be a teenage girl, to grow up and fall in love.
report Recommended by segachenesis
Both are all-female protagonist ensemble casts about girls doing their best in a school setting, supporting each other, and coming of age. In both shows the stories each of the main girls, who are each interesting in their own right, is explored in depth. Basically, both fundamentally happy shows, yet with some dark/mature/trauma-involving undertones. Both are great shows.

Araburu Kisetsu is more light in its ecchi referencing, and is more of a drama than a comedy. Of course, comedy is still etched in there, otherwise it would be nothing like Grand Blue at all! Simply call it a softcore version with an all-female main cast.

Group of growing-up girls and their troubles and questions regarding the growing up process.
report Recommended by abystoma2
Both are coming-of-age stories that are honest and upfront about the good, the bad, and the gross parts of becoming a teenager. Makes you feel that good, nostalgic cringe of "I was like that in middle school too." Yabai Yatsu focuses more on boys' romantic and sexual awakenings to girls, whereas O Maidens is of course focused on girlhood. Both include lots of lighthearted comedy to break up heartwarming scenes. If you want a slightly more grounded take on the middle school coming of age story that takes adolescence seriously and tackles the dark parts of growing up along with the fun parts, O Maidens  read more

Both follow schoolgirls' everyday lives and have very similar atmosphere. Characters in both have very relatable personalities. They were both directed by Masahiro Andou. And, Maidens were created by Mari Okada who also participated in Hanasaku Iroha which is obvious.

love triangle, unstable male protagonist struggling to choose the one he loves - the two animez are really similar in this aspect. if u liked the drama in white album 2 you'll probably like it here too

Same vibe, focusing on sexuality is a kinda realistic and direct way. Both have forced drama. Male lead characters are similar.
report Recommended by nazsa
Both anime explores topics such a "teen love", "sexuality" etc.
report Recommended by zsrrknight
Both animes have a group of girls that have to grow up and become women. I think the Amars and the girls from Literature Club look alike, having problem with the other sex and being really shy with people not from their friends. Both series are also really funny and entertaining, with a light but realistic vision of the process of growth.
report Recommended by allieturs
Both anime involve girls exploring their sexualities while also having really cute scenes and flushed MCs. While Ao-chan is obviously pandering to male viewers by being over-the-top sexual, Arabaru treats its' sexual themes as social commentary and is directed more towards female viewers who might relate to each MCs situations. If you're looking for the similar theme of girls exploring/ succumbing to their sexual nature (while executing it better), Arabaru is for you. If you liked the fan servicey scenes and want somethng like that, go watch hentai idk lol

Both are high school comedy/drama. In drama they are similar and have the same vibe, topics of drama parts are love triangles and jealousy have similar structure and handled in a equivalent way.

Both of them are very funny - in a slightly similar way sometimes - and have cute girls
