Same productors, well it's not the same story but it has a love theme too and it's similar in some ways. I think you will like it.

I really enjoyed "Zuori Qing Kong" and the anime "Shikioriori", is emotional in the same beautiful way without being cheesy. The three protagonists' recollections of their youth, how they remember good things and also what they would like to change, form a very nice slice of life with drama and romance elements. The drawing style of both anime is very similar, very nice to look at and overall with the animation very appealing, as is the music and dubbing. As always, thanks for reading and have fun watching.

Animes that are based on self-discovery where main characters overcome the obstacles in their lives. Both have beautiful animation with characters who you can project yourself onto, bonding with their relatable experiences. Koe no Katachi is centred around the main character whilst Flavours of Youth is a collection of stories. If you enjoyed one of these two you'll be sure to enjoy the other.

Simple love stories in a realistic setting, developing only the few most relevant characters. Very digital backgrounds and similar character designs, both made by CoMix Wave Films.

- they both consist of three short movies - they both have very pretty visuals - they both are very moral based and have an underlying message to their story personal note; though i preferred modest heroes, they are quite similar and i can whole heartedly say i recommend them both and like them both a lot!

Weathering With You and Flavors of Youth both the story of the young and their pursue in what the young spontaneous desires long for. Weathering With You does this with Hodaka and "sunshine girl" Hina messing around with the weather. Flavors of Youth uses three different characters and their motivations and love of the past. Both are good anime movies with visuals made by the same studio CoMix Wave Films.

The third part of Shikioriori hits your heart with a love story akin to that of Tamako Love Story, that of two young people unable to actually admit what they feel for each other. They both are beautifully animated and tug at your heartstrings.

Different life stories portrayed in one place. Fumiriki Jikan and Shikioriori will remind you that everyone has a story to tell; some are fun, some are nostalgic, some are melancholic, but all of them are interesting nonetheless.

Both have characters who regrets a choise they made in the past and we see their stories in today/past parallels. They also both have bittersweet, heartwarming stories worth watching.

Aside from varied differences in stories. The narration for both stories (at least for the first part of Flavours of Youth) has a similar tone. Telling a story of how they lived, and what they loved so much about such a time. With She and Her Cat: EF being a short romantic TV anime, Flavours of Youth is a trio of stories into one movie.

Nostalgia. Flavors of Youth and Someone's Gaze both revolve around people reflecting on their time when they are younger, a time different to their hardworking lifestyle that all people endure as they grow up. Flavors of Youth as a trilogy of three stories. Someone's Gaze does this in a shorter span of time. Both are good stories about looking back on a time when life was full of wonders. Both are also made by CoMix Wave Films.

Anime anthologies that are focused on a single thematic concept - goodbyes and journeys in Tabi Machi Late Show and childhood and growing up in Flavors of Youth. They are well structured anthologies that even use part of the last episode to tie each segment together as a single thematic narrative. Note that Flavors of Youth has better keyframe animation.

Flavors of Youth is likely the most known title anime anthologies not based on a franchise given its international distribution by Netflix and may give more attention to other anthologies and anime shorts. Otona Joshi no Anime Time benefits from having different animators and directors responsible for each episode, which allow teams to make creative decisions to highlight their own literary elements (e.g, theme, style, narrative structure, mood, etc). Flavors of Youth benefits from having a single vision across the anime, which creates more cohesion in the anthology and in this case a higher animation budget. These anime shorts explore similar themes about childhood and growing up. Both stories portray the lives of individuals in a realistic manner. The characters experience complex emotions despite the length of their stories. If you enjoyed watching one of these anime short then you should appreciate the other.

Both movies bring up the working adult main characters' nostalgia for their carefree childhoods, bittersweet first loves, and heartwarming families.
