Very much filled with adult content just like Mirai Nikki. The story is about a group of people trying to survive by following their cell phones command or else they will die, and Mirai Nikki has the same idea except their cellphones have abilities that would help them survive in this survival game. The characters all have their own twists and turns.

its the race against time.... while the deathly game continues, The Scaredy Protagonist along with Big muscled easily embrassed guy and cowardly twin tailed girl trying to solve the mystery of the game, Its Like Deja vu you know?? Another.... , Mei and Kouichi, with no extra guy BUT an old guy... A TRIO!!!, trying to solve whos the extra one.... Maybe Ousama game has also the EXTRA ONE, trying to find out WHO THE REAL KING IS!!! or maybe its not included... One by one... piece by piece.... for the next 24 hours there will be the next VICTIM....

I describe Darwin's Game as a cross between Future Diary and King's Game. Both death games with gruesome deaths.

Mayoiga is marketed as a horror however it can be watched as a comedy, similar to Ousama Game. The atmosphere is dark and edgy in both shows, however, Mayoiga is less serious. Both shows are in the mystery genre and neither show tries to explain the supernatural events in a comprehensive way.

Both feature a group of high school students forced into a game where their life is put on the line by some crazy mastermind.

Both series have people forced into a game with rules based off of a similar game that people are familiar with. These series both show a lot of gore and death, but Ousama Game is more graphic with the deaths while Btooom! is more graphic with the violence itself. They both also have a kill to survive aspect.

Sequels of their respective titles. MC are survivors of their previous killing games. Once again are forced to participate in another killing game with restrictions imposed upon it's participants and are punished if failed to act upon predetermined conditions.

I feel like every season has an an anime where there's a "game" and only one person can win everyone else dies- If you like watching death left and right and never getting attached to a character but love to watch the world burn this is for you lol. - both use the - only one person can "Survive" - both continue/repeat the death game/cycle over and over again - both show the evil sadistic side of characters that seem innocent on the outside.

Have similar plot settings, have good gore and horror, and also have romance spice.

"To live or to die?" Charging straight at you, Ousama Game and Mahou Shoujo Site try their best to grab your attention by utilizing bizarre and outright mind-numbing tactics. For better or for worse, they'll be an experience you won't forget for a while.

Both are about a survival game and focus on the MC and his friends from school. Both have the same type of twists at the end of the episodes. Both can work as a type of comedy, depending on how you see both shows.

Similarities - Both worlds feature a death game - Both worlds have contestants that complete challenges/duel each other - Both MCs are outcasts that are interesting in games - The goal in both games is to survive - Both series have betrayal (differing degrees) Differences - Contestants in deatte are chosen randomly VS. Kings Game is where contestants in a class are all selected - Contestants in deatte are granted special powers VS. Kings Game is just average people in a modern world running around and panicking

Both Boogiepop and king's game utilise mystery to slowly uncover a strange plot filled with mind boggle-ry based around an artificial existence

-the concept of servitude -king being the master and the loser being the slave, except that the loser cannot defy the master's order/s

While these two shows are of very different genres, both shows have tons of characters getting killed off, in very over-the-top and gory ways, that fans of mindless killing will enjoy either one, or both shows. Do note that some of the later deaths in Ousama Game have some weird censorship to them, while the early Terra Formars episodes had censorship so overbearing that people made memes out of it, although there are uncensored versions of those said Terra Formars episodes, showing off the said over-the-top gore. The two shows also suffer from similar flaws, despite them having ambitious concepts to them, moreso with Ousama Game.  read more

I get the same feeling of "unhope", where nothing is in the control of the characters, but from something or someone beyond you can't win, no matter what happen, no matter what they do, they will fail.

Some teenagers find themselves facing a mysterious and deadly enemy. They will try to defeat it, but their questionable decisions will be their downfall.

As far as unintentional comedy goes, these two are the kings (no pun intented) of the genre, if you are the type of person who enjoys watching bad anime and shredding them apart for all their noticeable mistakes then watching any of these two will prove to be a fruitful experience.

Both involves individual in a game where the stakes were high and the it's even higher for the loser.

Well, similar to Ousama game, you have a lot of characters dying and fighting to live. Shiki takes place in a remote village - similar to yonsaki village and surprisingly has a quite a lot of romance to do with the main characters like ousama game. The MC in Shiki starts out as a very cold guy and unwilling to make friends (see that connection with Nobuaki in the first episode?)
