Even though you didn't ask, here are some recommendations of some anime I think you might enjoy:
-Acca 13: It is more politically focused show that is calming and refreshing to watch when you are tired of watching anime (that's how I found it lol) because it has a different feel to it than most anime. The animation feels very elegant and classy, the characters aren't my favorite but both the female and male characters are very appealing to the eyes, and the opening is so catchy. The plot follows an inspector who travels around to different states containing various cultures and practices and it mostly focuses about the corruption in the states and a power struggle between the various leaders.
-Ascendance of a Bookworm: It is an isekai about a librarian who is extremely passionate for reading who reincarnates as a young, sickly girl from a poor family into a fantasy/medieval-ish world where books are very expensive, hard to come across, and most of the population is illiterate. The plot mostly follows Myne as she is determined to make paper and books from scratch and make them more accessible to the public and poor, while also ending up being dragged into many other societal issues. There is also magic, economics, and political themes sort of incorporated in it, but not a lot. It slow paced overall and for the first couple episodes it is extremely slow because it just introduces you to the world and various characters and I would give it time for the plot to speed up, but if you want to drop it, it is completely understandable. I found it super cute, relaxing, and interesting to watch as Myne experiments with various resources to make paper. I really enjoyed it a lot and I would definitely give it a shot.
-Tiger & Bunny: A superhero anime set in the future following a middle aged super hero who struggles being outshined by the younger generation of heroes. The premise of the show is really interesting and unique because the super hero's fights with criminals are broadcasted live on TV and their livelihoods are determined how many points they receive by defeating a villain. For example, if a hero incapacitates a criminal they receive points, but if they destroy buildings while fighting or civilians get injured, they get points deducted from their overall score. Depending on how many points the heroes earns, the more they are sponsored by private companies and the more money they get. The main character is honestly great from the get go because he is just a great guy and experiences realistic problems like aging, depression, money, and familial tension and I really got attached to him the more I watched the show. The super powers in this show are nothing special the main character is not op or the strongest amongst the other superheroes by any extent, but he varies from the other heroes because he has a strong sense of justice and doesn't work in the industry for the fame and wealth, but because he genuinely cares about the well being of the city. The plot is pretty predictable in which there's bad guys and the heroes stop them, but there are many twists and turns and the plot gets much deeper and darker the more you watch. Also, all the other characters are really well developed and we learn about their various backstories and reasons for becoming super heroes. I did not really expect to really enjoy this show because I have never been a big fan of superheroes, but I was pleasantly surprised and thought it was great.
