It's nice to see you enjoy Hi no Tori thus far. "Future" is one of the greatest stories I've experienced, my second favourite arc in the Manga only after "Resurrection". While the idea and setting don't stand out, its extremely dramatic story, beautiful romantic sub-plot, thought-provoking themes have got me. Let's not forget Tezuka's top-notch illustration and imaginative panelling composition that play a significant role in the visual storytelling. Another thing, as you also stated, is the balance. There're parts with mucho texto but also parts that're pure show-don't-tell, the mood whiplash swings between humor and tragedy, and the story doesn't focus or linger much with any particular character's death to maintain the nuance.

Wow, you did research on Greek myths, that's impressive. I remember reading tons of the lores as a child but I almost forget everything now. I think Greek myths are a great source of inspiration, sadly, as far as I know, not many works incorporate them besides Fate.

Mahoyo is an interesting pick. I still haven't yet played, but I saw a lot of positive feedback about it. If you have time, feel free to check out Tsuki no Sango Manga, it only features 14 chapters and also gets some Hi no Tori vibes: https://myanimelist.net/manga/41957/Tsuki_no_Sango
I guess you have also played Gnosia. What is your thought about the game?

About Dandadan, seems not a show for me. I've nothing against it but at the same time, I didn't find any aspect that engages me. It sure has nice visual, animation, and directing yet the story and characters look like those of typical shounen action & comedy. People have been praising ep 7 but I'm not really moved by it due to the lack of background and attachment. I remember watching one Doraemon movie and it executed a similar trope a dozen times better.
