Comedy anime with short episodes about a married couple and their cute and funny daily interractions .

In contrast to all the characters in this show who are office workers and otakus, Danna ga Nani wo Itteiru ka Wakaranai Ken focuses on the relationship between an otaku husband, and his working office wife. The shows are similar thematically. Both shows explore relationships in a comedic light showing the transition of the character/s as otakus into young professionals, how they maintain their old and new identities, and the meanings of growing up. Wotaku ni Koi wa Muzukashii fits a standard 25 minute slot, whereas Danna ga Nani wo Itteiru ka Wakaranai Ken is a 3 minute per episode slice of life based  read more

Both are romcoms which revolve around life of a married couple

The other title is also a heartwarming slice of life comedy about a normal girl who has a romantic relationship with an otaku, trying to understand him and otaku community. The only differences are that Danna ga Nani wo Itteiru ka Wakaranai Ken is about a married couple (somehow making it all more fun), and the story in Genshiken involves an anime club's life along with the romantic line. Kaoru has a lot similarities with Saki (like strong personality, being a smoker), but she's cuter. However, Kaoru's husband is quite different from Kousaka, being not a popular guy, but your typical hopeless otaku.

When I first started watching Kobayashi-san in early winter 2017, I couldn't shake how I was reminded of I Can't Understand What My Husband is Saying. Sure, the art style is pretty recognisable as Cool Kyou Shinja's, but the two are very similar tonally as well. The two shows are primarily comedy focused. While the comedy may not be bust-a-gut hilarious, it is very comfortable. Both shows feature a series of recurring jokes that your mileage may vary on, but personally, they never failed to illicit a smile. I'd compare the the comedy style of these shows, and especially the recurring jokes, to a good cup  read more

Married couple comedy where husband is an otaku

These two give very similar feeling of warmth and calm along with some innocent laughs. Art styles are alike as well. Both depict daily lives or moderately eccentric people. Acchi Kocchi is about schoolkids, while Danna ga Nani wo Itteiru ka Wakaranai Ken is about people in their late twenties. Both have non-violent and non-invasive kind of romance, where people care for each other despite sharing misunderstandings, and in both couple's friends are a tad more eccentric than stated couples. Both animes are episodic with loose plot development. AK has full length episodes and Danna's ones only last for 3,5 minutes. If you like the sweetness of one,  read more

This anime is very similar to REC, its about the relationship with living with another person. The romance is sweet and very realistic. The only difference is that I think personally REC has a better sound track, art and story. REC definitely goes more into the relationship side of things with more drama, while "I cant understand what my husband is saying" goes into the more comedic aspect of life. Both are heartwarming relationships and are much more realistic most anime's. I would fully recommend "I cant understand what my husband is saying" to anyone who just finnished REC

An otaku and a tsundere. Konata is to Hajime as Kagami is to Kaoru. If you've seen Lucky Star and thought, "Konata and Kagami would be so cute in a relationship", then you'd enjoy seeing DgNwIkWK. The difference, however, is that Lucky Star relies on anime references while DgNwIkWK pokes fun at the otaku fanbase.

Both really funny slice of life anime which seem to be episodic, but sneakily end up with genuinely endearing stories about companionship, with good character development and get you attached to deep, interesting characters. Both have a lovely end and a similar feel. As well as good lessons to take away. Both contain some level of reference to anime and manga culture, if not otaku culture. Differences: - Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou( literally "Daily lives of High School Boys") is about high school boys and adolescence while Danna Ga Nani wo Itteiru ka Wakaranai Ken is about married life. - Danshi Koukousei is longer(20 minutes vs 3 minutes)  read more

Both series are shorts, both are depicting unlikely relationships and are centered around everyday lifes of main protagonists. In both series women are "normal" ones. In Danna ga Nani husband is otaku and computer geek and in Ojisan to Marshmallow Hige-san is marshmallow fan. Danna ga Nani depicts life of unlikely maried couple, where Ojisan to Marshmallow depicts forming of relationship. Both series are quite hillarious, with similar type of humor.

Similarity - life of a couple that lived together Difference - Okusama is full of ecchi and harem Which one is better? For me is Danna.

Both of these Slice of Lifes seam to follow a much more believable approach than the average SoL. Neither of them focus on school as a major setting which isn't very common for SoLs. Although Non Non Biyori does have school, it's a very different feel due to it being a school of only 5 kids. Both of them have comedy elements as well as serious elements with feeling in them. Non Non Biyori is about a group of 4 girls varying in age greatly while Danna ga Nani focuses on the life of a married couple.

If you like either of these shows, you probably enjoy some quick slice of life shorts. That's exactly what both of these are - both of these anime could probably be finished in an hour. I personally don't laugh out loud a lot in general, but I genuinely appreciated the humor in both of these and the dynamics between characters are charming in both. I wouldn't say either of these shows are exceptional, but they're both short, enjoyable experiences with fun disconnected short stories held together loosely by somewhat of a general continuity with the story.

Both of these have light content and are fast paced and are perfect for a slice of life lover.

Both have main male characters who are NEET. There are some perverted jokes in both and although the plot is not at all alike, sometimes they feel similar.

An extremely obsessed otaku can't communicate or relate to non otakus.

Although Danna ga Nani wo Itteiru ka Wakaranai Ken has shorter episodes it has nothing to be jealous of when it comes to comparing it to other comedy anime! It also has the plus that, like Arakawa under the Bridge, it has a story to develop which is rather cute and sweet apart from witty and funny!

While fundamentally the stories focus on different characters (Danna ga Nani wo Itteiru ka Wakaranai Ken focuses on a married couple, and Pop Team Epic on two school girls), the comedy aspect of these anime derive from pop culture reference. This makes them similar.

both are short funny anime, the "plot" is nothing the same tho, but the general feeling is pretty much the same, oh well plastic neesan is alot more just retarded but they're both funny :D

Similar elements : -Both are really sweet, without violence -Both are mature slice of life -Both are about adult life Non-similar elements -Usagi drop is more serious, it just have some funny moments -Usagi drop's episodes duration is quit classical -Usagi is more a real slice of life than Danna ga Nani wo Itteiru ka Wakaranai Ken

Short formats, get very meta about anime and the weeb fanbase in general. Great sense of humor from both of them, with lots of weeb inside-jokes.

Super silly short anime about unlikely romances and the funny and unique situations these weird relationships lead to. Neither anime take themselves too seriously yet manage to still warm your heart with plenty of wholesome scenes.

If you lost it when watching hilarious references and gags, or cried when things got real for a moment then this is the show for you. I can't recommend it enough. JUST DO IT!
