Hi, I've recently gotten really interested in anime :) I like meeting people so feel free to say something below
I'm also into drawing, playing piano, fitness, video games, and running(though I cut back on that so not to erase my gains). And I love music. Both listening to it and playing it. I'm the kind of person who could be roped into trying out a show just from its OST.
I write reviews and such to improve my english writing, vocabulary and expression. You may find me using a thesaurus alot while writing. If I sometimes get carried away, forgive me. its all for practice. For shows I didn't write a full review, I still try to write at least a short comment in my anime list(which you should check out!)
Questions you might be thinking:
>Why do you rate everything so high?
Well, its because I've tended to enjoy almost everything I picked up so far. Maybe I was lucky, who knows. But I don't hesitate to rate it based on how much I was entertained by it at at the time, and think of reasons of why I felt that way later. I never attempt to score things based on how other people would like it.
>Why do you rate only good shows low?
The way I see it, you shouldn't rely on other people's metrics of quality to tell you how you felt. Whether or not you enjoyed something defines whether or not it was worth it for you. I don't pretend to be a critical analyst, so that's how I (almost) always rate. I do know Cowboy Bebop was outstanding, and technically brilliant in terms of its art, sound, characters, direction and world-building, but to me it was boring. And old. A lot of the stuff unique about it I've seen copied off in bits and pieces elsewhere, sometimes better than Bebop. Tora Dora was (probably) comedy. To me, it was annoying. I knew when it was trying to make a joke or tug at my heartstrings or make me relate but it just didn't work for me. In fact, it made me groan. Meanwhile, School Days provoked me into swearing out loud, laughing or looking over my shoulder in an empty room. It made me cringe and literally angry in a way I haven't for media in a while, and I'd forgive its general silliness and poor writing for that one pretty entertaining and memorable side of it. So I rate accordingly. Based on whether or not I was entertained. Usually I'm willing to explain the reasons why in detail if I haven't already. :)
That said, I'm genuinely a love-or-hate kinda guy so I tend to score in extremes. I often find myself either really into something or forcing myself to keep open-minded. After I'm done though, I can recognize the latter, and I vote lower.
>Why do you think we care?
I don't, really. Or well, not anymore than I care about your opinions. Which is enough to justify writing this.

Hmm, two that really stood out to me are Seirei no Moribito and Pandora Heart. And one of my favourite movies of all time, Sword of the Stranger. Especially with the latter two, I feel like without the amazing soundtrack, those anime wouldn't have been so unforgettable as they are to me now. But there are also lots of anime that have some really good OSTs and some OSTs that don't really stand out to me.
Okay, I should really stop. I could go on forever, haha.
It seems that you give a lot of thought to the music in an anime. That's great!
Other than Code Geass, Angel Beats, or Attack on Titan, your ratings look pretty close to mine. Let's enjoy our stay in the vast and wondrous realm of Japanese animation--and you keep up the great writing!
i really loved it ..

It's been ages, my god, I'm so glad to hear from you. Did you hear Grooveshark went down for good? Such a shame, I really liked our community.
Ahah, I know the feeling. I can't help you since it has already eaten mine. What have you been watching lately? I'm glad Oreimo didn't scare you enough to give up on anime! :)
