Both shows features a bishounen with a supernatural servant/friend of sorts with a close relationship nearing shounen-ai (although this isn't the case). The main characters are both onmyoujis, and both shows have an arc-based/episodic setting where the characters help others or generally fight to protect themselves from monsters or the antagonists, while having character development present throughout the series.

Both animes deal with supernatural powers (youkai) and in both animes the main characters are young men who have power over those youkai. Natsume Yuujinchou leaves a way more positive feeling, though.

Mysterious cases that involve various kinds of ghost/youkai/mystical creatures. Similarity: ** 1/2

Plot-wise these two go hand in hand and revolve around a detective agency that solves supernatural-related issues. They both dwell on mythological (in Loki, Norse myths) and folklore-driven (in Tactics, Japanese lore) elements with a heavy dose of comedy (probably more so in Loki) and drama (especially in the latter episodes of Tactics).

Both are supernatural shows in which a demonic being which has assumed the form of a beautiful man is bound to serve a human boy. In both cases, the demon is loyal to his master to a certain extent but relatively neutral in terms of good and evil. Both shows also have a variety of silly characters in the background, including a clumsy maid.

They are very similar: the age where both of them take place and the fact that both have youkais too. And one more thing: Kantarou and Toki are both connected to a tengu some way. And the style is alike too.

The main characters in these series aren't mere humans, they can see mystic creatures. Both Kantaro and Ginko don't think these creatures are evil; their attitude seems more similar with the attitude towards nature, neither good nor evil. Besides that these series have the same structure: one episode - one story. If it's not enough for you to put these titles together, you'll definitely enjoy the mystic atmosphere in Mushishi and Tactics.

Both deal with demons/spirits. Also, there are some yummy bishies in both of these shows. It's great~

Both have the same atmosphere in regards to yōkai and the supernatural and are set during Japan's earlier stages of westernization. Both story talk of the co-existence between spirits and human beings, with the leads playing more of a mediator for both kinds. Whilst Zakuro has more of a romantic feel to its series, Tactics plays more into the mystery side of the supernatural with the main lead being a sleuth for "things that go bump in the night". Both are great tales of Japanese folklore and is a welcome treat for anyone tired of the usual school type series.

Both are supernatural, and deals with human and supernatural creatures coexisting in the same place and the many events that takes place around them and how human beings deals with them. Both has comedy involved and creates suspense and horror at times.

Tactics and Descendants of Darkness are detective stories set in a supernatural environment where the culprits are spirits or spirit-like entities. Tactics offers consistent comedy despite a turn for the dark at the end of the series; something similar happens with DoD even if the humorous content is more toned down. On a side note, both are highly slashable in terms of possible shounen-ai relationships: DoD scores higher in this area but Tactics is not exempt of yaoi-like undertones.

You will probably like both of them if you like animes that have relation with the Japanese culture and connection between gods and humans where they live in the same society or world.

Both animes involve the supernatural, in this case, it's youkai. Haruka/Tora are powerful youkai that was banished by a human, and Ushio/Kantarou are the ones that release them. Same story line, character personalities, and genres. In other words, if you like one, you'll surely like the other.

Watching Noragami I remebered Tactics, as they have similar feeling about them, action, and bishounen mystical kami/yokai/spirits characters.

Episodic cases of the supernatural, narrated by a group of recurring characters. Tactics boasts a larger cast of characters, but 100 Stories has more mature content.

Both take a step into psychological twists in relation to the supernatural. However, unlike Ghost Hound, Tactics is far more light-hearted. Though this series have a slight creep factor from time to time, it once again does not touch GH. However, there are a far number of likenesses (boy who sees things, ghostly entities, etcetera) for there to be a slight parallel drawn between the two.

Master/servant dynamics, spirits and people who see them, and mystery, with BL subtext to spice things up.

Master/servant dynamics, cinnamon roll characters, dealing with spirits (often helping them), BL subtext, priests, shinto themes, yokai, and an all around similar atmosphere.

Supernatural themes really, i just felt that the stories were very similar. Both 10/10

Like Vatican Kiseki Chousakan tactics is also about mystery that has the context of a particular mythology/theology. Unlike the the Vatican cases the mythology/theology is not christianity but has more to do with japanese myths. Also unlike the Vatican show ( so far )Tactics has more of a emphasis on the fantasy and supernatural elements, however the dark mystery vibe is similar between both shows.

Both are supernatural/occult Both MC have special ability that brings them closer to the supernatural world Both MC have a friend/side kick from the supernatural world Both shows feature similar categories of demons and supernatural beings, though they are put in different spotlights Both story-telling style are generally episodic (But Mayonaka is a rather new story, and gives off the vibes that the over-arching plot is interesting, but since there is only 1 season so far, nothing much can be established. While Tactics did manage to tie up most of its storylines in the anime itself.) Mayonaka is in current times, while Tactics is set in the past. Mayonaka has slightly  read more

If you like, things involving demons/youkai, talismans, rune magic, priests/priestesses, then this would be a good simliar setting of Tactics to watch!

Both are rather similar in slashiness. Both have concepts of magic involved. Action/adventure levels are similar...Somewhat correspondingly have hints of romance.

Both are rather similar in slashiness. Both have concepts of magic involved. Semi-episodic, but main plot develops after time. Great music... Similar animation. Rather "crosslinking"/relatable characters appear in both anime series.

Tactics and Karas both have the supernatural element of youkai living side-by-side oblivious humans, that there's a whole separate culture of creatures that go about their lives, unseen.

Both involve demons and other figures from Japanese folklore. The main protagonist of both series has a prominent relationship with these figures.

Tactics is really similar to NY because they both relate main characters that had gone through a rough time in their childhood, but now they have friends. Tactics is a little bit gloomier, thought. Both, Kantarou & Natsume, have youkai as their friends and also as their servants. Both of them have great spiritual power, but are too soft.

The rules for the worlds these two anime exist in are very similar and they both focus on aspects of japanese mythology/ideology and are very detailed with japanese culture. Main characters (though in very different situations) both have demon familiars that were famous in the demon world and have tragedies in their pasts that drive how they behave. Both anime have strong themes that demons and humans can never be together that the main characters are determined to over come. They also share the theme of accepting people for who they are and no who they were or based on how society views them. If  read more

well.....kekkaishi hunts ghost or spirits and if the spirits reach to their school they'll turn into a monster. While TATICS has spirits too..but they call their monsters "oni" it's similar to kekkaishi because they carry staffs and uses magics too!! that's all...
