Otome Youkai Zakuro

Both have the same atmosphere in regards to yōkai and the supernatural and are set during Japan's earlier stages of westernization. Both story talk of the co-existence between spirits and human beings, with the leads playing more of a mediator for both kinds.
Whilst Zakuro has more of a romantic feel to its series, Tactics plays more into the mystery side of the supernatural with the main lead being a sleuth for "things that go bump in the night". Both are great tales of Japanese folklore and is a welcome treat for anyone tired of the usual school type series.
