Everyone was at first skeptical about Tiger&Bunny, but I reassure you that Tiger&Bunny is a great anime, one of the best this year. And also it's a super hero themed show, not a mecha, just wanted to make sure you know this.

Okay, my all time favorite is Dragonball Z, and my current top favorite for myself is Welcome to the NHK.
But for something more recent, it would be Tiger&Bunny.

Ya, I know what you mean. I can't really stand characters if they are blank either. I like watching shows that have personality or something new and original in them. But I'm pretty much an all-rounder like you to ^^

I'm not sure what do you mean by saying only "VN"... If you don`t understand what is the meaning of it, it's visual novel. It's the kind of "games" that are mostly text with images and in some point you must do some kind of choices and you can get to different endings.

Pancakes... I don`t know... The one that my mother makes... In many countries they are bigger than mine. Here at least they are usually tinny and with some kind of jam, chocolate or something else. I love them with jam of plums.

First in my list, first and third in MAL, sixths and twelve in AniDB. And your own opinion...

Why are you even asking? Watch it and decide for yourself...

The first 24 episodes are to introduce us the characters and especially for me are not really funny. But after that it's start to become better and better and become my favorite comedy ever.

Is there another episodic anime comedy that is so big and popular?

I'm in the countryside right now, visiting my grandma (not actually wanting to). The summer is usually a one room event for me. I don`t like going to the sea, mountains, abroad and etc for vacations... I'm weak versus the heat, so I'm being lazy all day, all summer... I had more time and I finally decided to watch LotGH but after (spoiler) I can`t continue and I just finished a random 50 episode anime, just to not watch LotGH.
