Matantei Loki Ragnarok

Plot-wise these two go hand in hand and revolve around a detective agency that solves supernatural-related issues. They both dwell on mythological (in Loki, Norse myths) and folklore-driven (in Tactics, Japanese lore) elements with a heavy dose of comedy (probably more so in Loki) and drama (especially in the latter episodes of Tactics).
Tactics and Loki are both mystery stories that deal with supernatural beings (or 'occult detective' stories, if you prefer), and are based on mythology/folklore (Norse in Loki's case, and Japanese in Tactics' case). They are episodic for the most part, with the main plot emerging in the second half of the series and toward the end. On the surface, they are both seemingly comedies, but there is also a lot of drama as they touch upon the relationships between people. The overall feeling these two anime give is very similar. Well though they DO have the same mangaka (Sakura Kinoshita, with Kazuko Higashiyama working with her on Tactics), and this is evident in the art of the first few volumes of Tactics where Kinoshita-sensei does most of the artwork, they're also similar in that the main character is usually solving mysteries/cases that have to do with paranormal phenomena. In Loki the phenomena are based mostly on Norse, and some Greek/Roman mythos. In Tactics, Japanese folklore are the foundation of the phenomena.
