Kuroshitsuji

Both are supernatural shows in which a demonic being which has assumed the form of a beautiful man is bound to serve a human boy. In both cases, the demon is loyal to his master to a certain extent but relatively neutral in terms of good and evil. Both shows also have a variety of silly characters in the background, including a clumsy maid.
In both series the Master-Servant relationship is highlighted. While Kuroshitsuji is a dark comedy based in the Victorian period (England), Tactics is based in the Edo period (Japan). In Kuroshitsuji the servant is a butler who is not human who has great supernatural power, while in tactics the servant is also non-human with great supernatural power. In both series, the duo are bonded to each other in a somewhat very similar manner. It's been a while since I watched tactics but I recall the general atmosphere and some relationships being similar with Kuroshitsuji.

Both feature a handsome, swarthy demon bound to a human boy with similar shounen-ai undertones. Both are now paired off with one another to solve supernatural occurrences and mysteries. Along the way they meet plenty of eccentric and colorful individuals - whether they will be human, demon, or otherwise!
