Visual similarity is the first thing people will tell you when you ask them why x show and y show is similar, because it's what you saw. Such is always the case with fellow all-girls, somewhat yuri anime. Yuruyuri, serialized in comic yurihime, is, of course, highly lesbianated. Teenage male audiences in general will find nothing wrong with this show. And even put aside the visual, Yuruyuri itself has some witty-funny dialogue and deserved to be judged by its content and not just visual. But there are people who will totally convinced by visual alone to watch or skip something, and I can't blame them, it's just basic human reaction. Yuyushiki, serialized in mangatime kirara, is recommended for people with a taste for heavily-dialogue anime that features a lot of jokes, puns, and funny conversation that isn't found in real life. Maybe you used to have such conversation sometime back in high school, if so, this show is sure to make you go all nostalgic about old friends and times younger you spend with them. Also, despite being all girl with recently-popular moe visual, it's not as lesbianated as Yuruyuri and I think straight girl will not be annoyed as much. There you go. Yuruyuri is ultimate fun time for people who don't mind their sexuality. Yuyushiki is more neutral sexuality-wise and not as visually distracting, so you can gun for Japanese listening practice or whatever. Both are Slice of Life anime about cute girls and their experiences. The manga from both series are from sister publications, so before Kiniro aired, Yuyushiki did small references in magazines and art referencing it. Now that Yuyushiki has ended and Kiniro is airing, Kiniro makes small references to the other in the show! 

Both are slice of life shows that have an all girl cast and are in high school. They're both comedy driven and just look at the simple things in life and both shows are based mainly on friendship, growing up and being young. 

Slice of life that focuses on a small group of characters (mainly female) at their school. Humorous and dialogue-driven, both of these series contain many random moments. Yuyushiki has a bit more fluidity to its pacing and conversations. Lucky Star makes a lot more references to other series and features an otaku girl as the main character.

These are both slice of life featuring girls in a crazy strange high school club that probably shouldn't exist. Humour often revolves around tsukkomi character responding to absurd dialogue. 

they just have the same same atmosphere and light hearted fun fell about them, while acchi kocchi is better in my opinion i have watched both at least 3 time. both totally worth watching 

in same style, good short version Yuyushiki 

These two shows have a majorly similar art style and even character personalities match up too well. Both have a more serious character who is accompanied by not only a nuisance but an annoying friend. 

Visually, they are of the complete opposite. You don't like both of them because "the art is similar, they both look the same lol" like in most recommendations go. Anyway, it's their audio offering that make them similar. They are among the recently popular, dialogue-heavy slice-of-life anime that simply shows you what the main casts talk about during their normal days in life. Of course, by normal, it's their normal and not your normal, thus probably not boring. Making boring daily life interesting is the heart of this genre. More important than the extreme reaction or breathtaking story, dialogue is preferred over any other kind of selling point, as far as recent comedy goes. Also, I do not like to admit this, but Yuyushiki art is pretty much what fits in the recent category of "moe" style. And for some reason, when people see this kind of art, they somehow automatically assume the story would sucks, and They are right most of the time. I can't deny that, but when you get better at Japanese and stopped relying on subtitle, you might get into the dialogue better. You will overlook the style and get into the substance soon enough. The enjoyment of watching Yuyushiki and Danshikou came from "understanding dialogues" and not "awesome visual" like the usual action-packed anime. Gotta admit you can't get into the heart of dialogue-heavy anime that easily, but if you try, I ensure sure it will worth your while. read more 

Yuyushiki and Non Non Biyori may not have storyline with engaging plots but they offer slice of life fun with its small cast of characters. These characters are cute girls that enjoys their everyday lives with one another doing various activities. There is a lot of humor in both series with a lighthearted atmosphere. For Yuyushiki, there are also references along with some cryptic dialogues at occasions. The dialogues in Non Non Non Biyori are adorable in its own rights with child play tones and enthusiasm.  

You cannot go wrong with this one. Both are the higher profile manga serialzed on Manga Time Kirara. The noteworthy selling point of every manga in this magazine is girls' love. If you can't go a day without non-explicit girl-to-girl cuddling then both are the right choice. Plot is not non-existent, but sadly, there are quite a lot of anime out there which qualified more as mild sex-sale than 30 minutes of storytelling. It's possible to praise how good the story, jokes, puns, and conversation is, but at the end of the day many people watch this just for d'awww. But that shouldn't let you down, because there are a lot of little girl talkshow manga out there, and this two qualified as a comedy gold mine, thus animated. read more 

The similarity of these two series are focus on the three main characters revolving in their daily lives on just normal activities. Not much of a story, but is mostly around the comedy, and funny characters interacting with each other. Finding an easygoing comedy shows, then this will be your answer Minami-Ke follows the daily lives of the Minami sisters who are in different grades, age, and school. Yuyushiki follows the daily lives of three high school students who joined a club and interact with each other. 

Three female friends just fool around, do and say random funny stuff, and even make a club to do exactly that in. Both mostly take place in a school. 

Both anime do not try to even draw the characters you see in the background, but Pani Poni Dash does not even try to make them characters at all! Sometimes, they are even FRUIT. Aside from that, both deliver extremely random comedy, but Pani Poni Dash does it in a MUCH zanier and quicker fashion, hence the manga being called "Pani Poni" well the anime is "Pani Poni Dash" which implies that it delivers its comedy on its own pace, which they chose to be undeniably rambunctious and rapid. Pani Poni Dash also has a much more colorful cast of characters, with several classmates in all of the three classes, alongside the teachers themselves. They all interact with each other in funny ways and the experience is highly memorable. Forget introductions or analyzing the characters, too, as they are all just introduced right off the bat in biography cards that pop up when you see them for the first time up-close. read more

Slice of life comedy based on gags and what not in a school setting. Cute girls doing cute and funny things. Both shows are very similar in these aspects and always deliver.  

Both follow the same style of "plot" and are made to brighten up people's days. They are both feel-good shows. :3

Cute light slice of life with school girls. A group of girls spending their every day life together, containing one that is always up to no good and always in a silly mood; add a sensible character to that group and you get a funny Anime show^^ They both have that same random humor. So if you liked one you most likely will like the other one. 

Watching these koisuru asteroid reminds me alot about yuyushiki, they shared some similiarity like both of these animes are school club based with an unique kind of club (astronomies and computing input). Same kind daily school and slice of life type of story. Also they have same kind twin tailed characters. 

Similar style of absurdist, pun-based, schoolgirl ensemble humor, and both absolutely hilarious =D 

Both are slice of life genre animes with at least 2 idiot girls and 1 smart one. and they bot have students hanging out with their teacher, the difference is azumanga diaoh has actual jokes in it that are funny 

Both have a similair calming feeling, yuyushiki has wacky charachters similair to the yokai fro natsumes book of friends

Thought the premise couldn't be more diferent, both series has that power to pop up a smile in your face no matter how bad your day is going. Also, neither of them strikes you in the very first episode; you need to watch 2 or 3 in order to fall in love with the series 

Both series has cute girls in a group that follows more of a slice of life story telling rather than a direct/linear story. The girls in both series are considered best friends and live their school life at their fullest every day. They have fun through various activities whether it's for entertainment, random, or just something to pass time by.  

Both have girls discussing random nonsense for comedic effect. In both, comedy is effected or enhanced by the interplay among major characters.  

Not exactly easy to recognize, but this two shows sure are in the same class. They both are the prominent manga from magazine Manga Time Kirara, the first brand name you should look for in shoujo-ai market. Basic three stereotypes shared by both anime are the normal person, the bright funny one, and the slapstick supporter. These are pretty basic features of a Japanese manga/anime/anything that is comedy centric. You can't miss that. The other selling point both show share is the amount of raging lesbian. GA is more subtle and doesn't have girls trying to touch and squeeze and lick each other directly, but subtlety does not equal non-existence. Yes, there are quite a lot of shoujo-ai in there if your imagination is up for it. Yuyushiki is more visually obvious. There are girls calling each other cute and attempt to do publicly not-so-acceptable stuffs all the time. If you want your girls love to be more graphic than subtle, this is truly the choice. read more 

You may be wondering, why a trio-of-school-girls and a group-of-talking-animals-and-a-few-stray-humans? Well, this recommendation is based far less on things like that and mostly on the fact that these shows rely on basic conversation, often comedic, to carry the story. There is no overarching plot in either of these. It's basic everyday life for the characters, and what pulls things along is the power of the main character ensemble. There are silly antics, word-based humor (puns are rampant in Shirokuma Cafe), and dialogue-driven scenes that make you want to snicker and grin and facepalm. 

Cute girls doing cute things. Yes, both series has a cast of cute girls doing cute things in their daily lives. It is entertaining by the nature of their conversations and dynamics. We get to know the characters each episode such as their hobbies, interests, and personalities. There's great comedy present in both series that will guarantee humor thanks to its clever usage of jokes, motifs, and dialogues. Don't expect a strong story development but instead a focus on all the characters at a level that you will appreciate. If you like series that highlights the daily lives of cute girls packaged into stories of charming glory, then I recommend these two to watch right now. read more 

The voice actresses for Chinatsu and Yui in Yuri Yuri do Yuzuko and Yui in Yuyushiki. Even though Yuyushiki has only released a single episode, I can confidently say if you liked Yuru Yuri, you'll like this anime as well.

Humorous antics with large amounts of implied lesbians. Both are also really cute imo 

Both Ai Mai Mi and Yuyushiki feature girls in clubs doing their daily activities with a lot of fun in between. Ai Mai Mi is a lot more random but both follow a similar style. A major difference is that Ai Mai mi is shorter, with only 5 minutes per episode. 

Adorable high school girls in a club. They are funny and random. Just watching either can make a person laugh or feel great.  

Both are very lighthearted slice-of-life comedies based around a group of friends. -Yuyushiki is all girls, GJ-bu has one guy. -Yuyushiki is "based around" a research club. GJ-bu doesn't have any actual club activities. -GJ-bu is much smoother while Yuyushiki is more energetic/jumpy.
